De Golden Circle is een populaire route die langs een aantal vanaf de meest opmerkelijke en diverse bezienswaardigheden in het zuidwesten vanaf IJsland voert. Op één dag zie je verbazingwekkende natuur en onvergetelijke bezienswaardigheden.In het geothermische gebied Geysir krijg je de kans om de kokende hete bron Strokkur elke 8 minuten stomend water tot 30 meter de lucht in te zien spuiten.De iconische waterval Gullfoss, of Gouden Waterval, ligt op slechts 7 minuten rijden vanaf Geysir - in de gletsjerrivier Hvítá. Zijn elegante en majestueuze vorm is ongeëvenaard. Zie hoe het stortvloedige rivierwater in twee stappen naar beneden stort in een 32 meter diepe kloof.Nationaal Park Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is niet alleen een plek vanaf geologische wonderen, gelegen op het snijpunt vanaf de Noord-Amerikaanse en Euraziatische tektonische platen, maar ook een plek vol geschiedenis. Luister naar verhalen over geografische en politieke strijd, compromissen en voortdurende evolutie. Het nationale park werd in 2004 op de Werelderfgoedlijst vanaf UNESCO geplaatst vanwege zijn culturele waarde.Daarnaast omvat de tour een bezoek aan het vulkanische kratermeer Kerið.

I wasn't aware that most of the tours you book are actually through a third party not TUI, they are likely better value for money if you book directly with the tour company themselves as I'm sure TUI will take their cut. The communication from TUI was not great. However the tour itself was really good, the tour guide HBO was funny and knowledgeable.

Anna was our tour guide and Eugine our very competent and considerate safe driver. Anna gave us lots of information all along the way and was always on hand for questions. Brilliant trip would well recommend to anyone.

Anna our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable not just on the sights visited but on Icelandic life and history/geography. She also taught us some Icelandic. Lukas our driver was also friendly. They fitted in another couple of quick stops along the way which was an added bonus. Pick up and drop off were easy.

Ontzettend gave tour, die je gewoon moet doen als je naar IJsland gaat. De gids Richie en de chauffeur Albert waren fantastisch. Wat een enthousiasme!

Great
Tour guide Joanna was extremely knowledgeable and interesting with just the right amount of talking! We really enjoyed the day but would have liked a little longer at some of the stops to explore. We did have time to see everything and get a drink/food and a comfort break though.

Our guide was superb. Runan was able to share so much information about Iceland, it's people, history and geological systems. Geysers, glaciers, craters and an extra stop to feed the wild Icelandic horses. I am not sure how we managed to see and do so much in 8 hours. From pick up to drop off this excursion was 10/10. An amazing experience not to be missed.

The constant and varied commentary provided by the guide (Dave) was very good. The coach was clean & comfortable. However, due to the weather (which is clearly not the fault of TUI!) - rainy, cold & windy, the experiences were a bit underwhelming. Also, due to the high prices in Iceland, a 1hr, 20 min stop for lunch at the Geysir, where you are a captive audience resulted in very high costs for lunch - £15 for a bowl of soup!

Es war eine super Tour mit einem wirklich sehr angenehmen und kompetenten Guide. Wir waren acht Stunden unterwegs, hätten uns nur ein bisschen mehr Zeit in Pingvellir gewünscht. Ansonsten ein rundes und sehr beeindruckendes Programm.

A bit too much time dragging the day out, in particular, after all the holiday makers got together, after just having breakfast, we only drove for one hour, before the coach stopped for a 45 minute breakfast stop. The guide was excellent though and had great history and Iceland knowledge
