Two of Turkey's top things to do combine on this morning tour – shopping and sightseeing. You'll kick things off with a visit to Fethiye's Roman‑era amphitheatre before heading into the old town. Your guide will then show you around the Paspatur and fish market area so you can get your bearings.From there, you'll have free time to explore at your own pace. You can wander through the narrow streets, browse the shops, or grab some local favourite snacks like gozleme, a thin stuffed flatbread, and simit, a sesame‑crusted bread ring, in one of the cosy cafes.Then, it's off to the weekly market, where stalls pop up with everything from fresh produce and spices to clothes, bags, rugs and ceramics. It's lively, colourful and ideal for practising your bartering skills. And, because the tour wraps up by midday, you'll be back at your hotel in time for a lazy afternoon by the pool.

Pointless visiting the old town & fish market as takes away the time that could be spent in the market. Add the journey time & multiple pick ups I reckon you could have another 90 mins spare for the market. Very over priced for what it is - recommend booking a cab / minivan from local firm & travelling to Hisarönü market

Market was like any other market. Old Town lovely I am Vegan and do not wear leather so we were taken to a leather store in a deserted building. Felt very uncomfortable. Elderly people whom were tired already made to walk up a flight of stairs and taken to this Leather makers / Shop felt it was if they paid TUI to take you there. Rosie the tour guide amazing and Jim the Driver delightful - Both informative and kind 5 stars for them....

The bus took us to a Jewellery store and sat us down to be sold to. No one was interested and yet we had to ask to go. And the tour took us to a shop to sell us Turkish delight. Then there was an hour traffic jam on the way home, not sure if this was normal traffic.

Our coach had air con . Taxi back did not ! Guide was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable . Value for money is not the best . Market is crazy but we quickly looked and left . Would be helpful to have the guide through the market for increased safety .

We enjoyed the tour of the old town with our well experienced tour guy. However we felt that we did not have enough free time. It seemed that the focus was on jewellery shop and a fur and leather shop which is okay but not the hard sell by its shop owners.

Unfortunately our guide did not appear to approve of immigration from Russians to English Would have liked local information not car registration s He seemed to think we needed to know what car comes from where in Turkey Would have liked more time in local fish market and not to be taken to a charity shop where there was a beach I felt no local info even down to a toilet or place for lunch Rep who sold us was very good no slur on him

The market was very good, but the first shop we went to was a bit random and felt uncomfortable and not needed as it was very pushy and prices were very high. There was no sightseeing on this tour at all. It felt like we could’ve just paid for a taxi to the market ourselves and saved money.

We enjoyed the market and the tour with Rosie around the old town . The stop at the Turkish Delight and leather goods store was a bit of a waste of time . Lots of people were not happy about this stop .

We enjoyed the market trip but disliked the first stop at the leather and fur shop. It reminded me of such visits to gold factories etc. on other holidays. The staff were very pushy which worked against sales. The moment I looked at anything they were right there trying to push a sale. Consequenttly I bought nothing. Others felt the same way.

Not what expected. Didn’t want to be taken to shops. Thought it was a Turkish delight factory and 2nd stop to see women making goods. Felt uncomfortable not buying. Guide was good but stops bad.

Remove Tui foundation shop and leather shop visits, pointless stops lots of guests complaining. Give more time to visit old town, harbour and market. Also price too expensive can just catch dolmus for a couple of euros each. Used to be just 12 euros with Tui now double. 24 euros which is too much for what it is.

Tui driver and guide were fine. We saw the umbrella and canal market, but nothing of any heritage to Turkey. We were taken to a leather and fur shop, which also sold Turkish delight. This was located above a Carrefour supermarket. Everyone in the group felt awkward and we all wondered why we had been taken there. We did not see any ancient sights. We had some free time, which myself and my husband walked along the river enjoying a coffee. This trip needs to be sightseeing, not just shopping.

Trip itself was good value for money but no visit to amphitheater or Lycian. Gold centre welcome was uncomfortable and odd, but didn’t eat into the time too much. Market was excellent and timings and bus were comfortable and punctual.

Brilliant day out. Guide knew the local area and was able to enlightened us about the history. Shopping was good, I have had lots of bargain. I would definitely recommend. Guide spoke English which was good.

Rosie was a great guide - local to the area and gave usual information for the whole holiday, not just related to the trip. Couldn't fault Jim's driving. Visit to the Gold Centre was awkward and unnecessary. Turkish Delight "factory" was, in fact, just a shop. Nice though, but would like to have seen it being made. Amphitheatre was only featured by its proximity to the Gold Centre. Walking trip through the old town was very good.

Es ist eine Kaffeefahrt. Erst 2 Läden völlig überteuert. Dann aber immerhin die Care-Foundation gesehen. Durch die Altstadt rennt man durch und bekommt gesagt, dass wenn man hier was sieht was man kaufen möchte, soll man warten, wir kommen nochmal zurück. Stimmt nicht. Dann der "Markt/Basar". Schlimmer als ein Polenmarkt. Ein Taxi wäre sinnvoller gewesen. Schade

The trip was advertised as going to an amphitheater and seeing the Lycian tombs which my husband had I were looking forward to seeing. Too much time spent getting on and off different coaches. It also felt very uncomfortable been approached by the shop and market staff wanting us to buy goods. I understand that they have to make a living but I personally would rather ask for assistance than been approached. The only highlight of the trip was seeing turtles swimming about

Didn’t like the jewellery shop drop off, very strange, staff were waiting to pounce. The trip was slightly different to itinery but the guide was very good and he took us through the old town and a Turkish delight shop stop off before the market. All in all a comfortable day out.

The day was good, although not as advertised. We were half an hour late being picked up. Firstly taken to the Gold shop, on coming out we hung around outside. With no information as to what would happen next. We were given an hour of free time. Met up again & went on to the Turkish delight shop. We were then driven back to the market were we where given free time again. The itinerary described the amphitheatre & the tombs but we didn't see them. Return taxi to Fethiye & back would have cheaper.
