Det framgick aldrig i bokningen att detta var på en åsnefarm och mycket fokus på åsnor och försäljning av deras produkter från shopen. Förväntningarna hos oss låg mer på maten (tillverkning osv) men överlag en trevlig upplevelse.

Bardzo mi sie podobala mozliwosc rezerwacji w pokoju w pojedynke, poniewaz obecnie jest duzo singli ,którzy tez chca zwiedzac ,a ponadto jestem osoba ze stomia, zakwaterowanie z druga osoba jest krepujace. Zaplacilam za jedynke wiecej, ale to zrozumiale, powinny byc takie mozliwosci. Znam duzo osób, które nie jada na takie wycieczki z powodu ograniczen przez biura podrózy zakwaterowania w pojedynke. Dziekuje, ze byla taka mozliwosc.

The donkey sanctuary was lovely and the baby only born the day before was adorable. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The greek dancing was amazing and everyone joined in. Food good and good company. A thoroughly enjoyable experience would recommend

En meget smuk oplevelse! Jeg kunne godt lide, at Stella, ejeren af ??gården, fortalte med stor kærlighed om de æsler, de opdrætter, vi kunne lide smagningen af ??produkterne, men især den traditionelle cypriotiske aften. Maden var rigtig god, men dansen var også helt i top. Vi takker de to dansere for kulturlektionen og for den glæde, de formidlede! Jeg synes, de var meget varme i de traditionelle kostumer og efter så meget dans! Jeg kan med glæde anbefale denne tur til alle!

Great night out, don’t listen to bad reviews, yes you have to pick up other people from hotels, nothing new but all well planned, and yes you then have to travel to the venue, but once there, donkey sanctuary is great and the whole planning of the evening, ladies organising were really helpful and organised, food was wonderful and plentiful , everything you would expect from traditional Greek food, well worth the money, dancers were funny and got everyone up dancing, great night out.

The experience flowed very well from one activity to another. The food was adequate however the options of wine or water is very limited if you don’t drink alcohol and only having melon as a reset is also restricted. The entertainment was very good especially with audience participation. One way this excursion could be improved is by doing an adults only option because children weren’t necessarily interested in some of the demonstrations.

Didn’t like the fact that we was walking around where the chickens, donkeys and goats with dogs poo everywhere, one guest had a fall when she was trying not to step on the poo, we went back inside, it was like a selling night, English was told to sit on one side of the tables, flies all over your and glasses, dancers was good and that’s about it, Lucas was the only person that spoke to us, with limited English but inleast he tried. Over hall experience would never recommend it to anyone.

Awful experience, 2hrs on an out dated coach from Protaras picking everyone up on the way and there was not one seat left. Tour guide on the coach was terrible gave out no real meaningful information. When we got there we was told to go into groups of nationality and meet in certain areas but it was unorganised. Set up a stall to try and sell you their products, then view donkeys rammed in pens, flies everywhere, food horrible, wine watered down in jugs. I would not do it again if it was free.

We were told about making your own haloumi but it was just a demonstration so we were slightly dissapointed. When it came to tasting it there was no orderly queue and if you couldn't push your way to the front you simply didn't get a look in. Dinner was a buffet style and was all fatty meat. We must have had 1 glass of wine with dinner and then were dragged up dancing. The one dance that we would have liked to join in on was the traditional Greek dance but we were made to sit down and just watch

Enjoyed this excursion to Golden Donkey farm for a traditional Cyprus experience. Watching Maria make traditional pie and the process of making halloumi and ricotta very interesting, meeting the donkeys and especially the babies was fab, the tour around the farm was very interesting too. Sampling the products made from donkey milk, olive oil and olives was fun. Food was buffet style, just wine and water included, had to buy beer, soft drinks. Traditional Cyprus dancing to end the evening

I enjoyed the donkey farm, but the travelling was appalling and unacceptable. 1 3/4grs to get there, 1 hr 35mins to get home. At no point was this made clear beforehand The rep. In the bus was grumpy and stressed.

Alt var godt - historie om æslerne og hvad de gør for at beskytte dem nu. Derefter smagt fantastiske cypriotiske produkter de selv laver samt lavet haloumiost og ricottaost. Personalet og guiderne var meget meget søde. Det var fedt at høre historien bag farmen og æslerne. Meget interessant at lære om brød og halloumi. Især fedt, at vi fik lov til at smage det, Gode og sjove dansere. Smukt sted med en inspirerende historie, Meget specielt at prøve ting med æselmælk. Det eneste der kunne være en smule bedre var maden. Men jeg er også fra Danmark, så jeg kan godt lide meget salt.

Skøn oplevelse med min mand og vores to piger på hhv 8 og 12 år. Selvom det foregik på engelsk, så var begge piger vældig optagede og fulgte aktivt med i det hele. Ikke mindst pga det fantastiske indlevende folk på gården. Meget spændende indføring i at lave halloumi, interessant fortælling om gårdens tilblivelse, spændende rundvisning, æselridning, lækker mad, underholdning med traditionelle danse og slutteligt fælles dans. Vi var underholdt fra vi kom til vi tog hjem. Fantastisk oplevelse!

No food labelled at buffet. No BBQ. Lady making Hullomi didn't wear gloves Had to pay for water but it said wine and water was free but no drinks were offered to us until food was ready which was a couple of hours after being there Got bitten by flies because of eating outside under trees and leaves falling off tree into our food. Wasn't in mountains as advertised. 1 of their members of staff extremely rude. This has been reported to our TUI reps that are going above and beyond to sort this

The Donkey Farm is delightful - lots of space, and set in a beautiful area, surrounded by olive trees. The staff and owners seem very proud of what they have and were well informed. Seeing how halloumi is made was interesting, and helping make the olive bread was fun - although our contributions were limited. The dancing was super fun and a must-see! The tasting was chaotic, since everyone crowded around and it was hard to get a taste of anything. But it tasted great, once you did get some!

Loved the adorable Donkeys, food was good and the guide on the bus was really informative. Loved the farm owner Stella, she was so passionate about her work. The entertainment was really great and got everyone involved. Only downside was the wine seemed watered down. Would recommend this trip.

Excellent experience, highly recommend it. From donkey rides to seeing how halloumi is made. Fresh just cooked halloumi is awesome nothing compared to what we buy The men dancers were very good, had us all up dancing a great fun evening. Reasonably priced too. Opportunity to obviously buy anything made from donkey milk. Not to our taste, liqueur nice like Bailey's with an aftertaste of coconut. Thought a bit on the expensive side for 200ml. Do keys only give just over half a pint of milk a day.

We loved this night! Would recommend in a heart beat. It was so fun, there is so much passion & care that goes into every step of the event. You arrive and wander around a little, then begin with a talk, a tour, a food demonstration, a donkey ride, then a fabulous meal and the rest of the evening dancing. 10/10 experience, so glad we did it.

This is held at a Donkey farm which we were not expecting. Good talk and demonstration on Donkey milk products and halloumi. Donkey ride. Lovely meal. Great entertainment of traditional dance which everyone was involved in. Although being sceptical at the start, it turned into a brilliant trip. I would recommend it.

Abholung und Anfahrt waren gut. Dann war es aufgrund der Menge der Besucher schwierig herauszufinden wo man hin muss. Die Geschichte der Esel auf Zypern und der Eselsfarm war interessant. Das Essen war gut, dazu gab es Wasser und Wein. 2 griech. Tänzer traten auf. Die Rückfahrt war dann ziemlich plötzlich....

Insgesamt (mit Transfer) hat es ca. 6 Stunden gedauert. Die Stimmung am Anfang war etwas lahm, aber zum Abend hin wurde es richtig gut! Wir hatten eine Einführung zu den Eseln, haben Halloumi und Brot hergestellt und gegessen und konnten die Esel füttern (man konnte auch reiten). Das Essen war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und ausreichend für alle. Die Tanzshow war sehr stimmungsvoll. Alles in allem eine 9/10.

It's a beautiful farm. Very interesting knowledge about olive trees and about their works. They show us their organic produce famous delicious Feta cheese, also olive bread. Heard lots of informations about the donkeys too. They were generous with their tasty food and drink. Admired their folkloor music and dance and the kindness friendliness about those dancers. They created great atmosphere and all the people been smiling and very happy.

Grounds were stunning. We found the donkey milk interesting, also bizarre. Bread making was fun, an ingredient/recipe card would have been nice to have. It was hard to hear the man speaking, due to big group. Didn’t donkey ride, but nice for kids to do. Food was exceptional & more just kept coming! Evening entertainment made this the happiest memory we have of Cyprus. If it wasn’t for them, we’d have felt quite disappointed. They were incredibly fun, we laughed & danced so much! Great energy!

Brilliant evening. Food was lovely. Great to see the donkeys and hear some of the history. Fab hosts and the dancing at the end was a perfect finale. It was raining when we arrived but they just moved things around until it stopped, we didn't even notice if it was an issue.

Der Abend war insgesamt sehr schön. Los ging es mit der Busfahrt, hier wurde schon darauf hingewiesen, was man auf der Farm kaufen kann, das fand ich nicht gut. Angekommen wären Getränke gut gewesen (Wasser und Wein gibt es beim Essen kostenlos) ansonsten muss man vor Ort kaufen. Die Esel waren toll, man konnte sie füttern (1€ pro Tüte, sehr gut!). Man konnte auf den Eseln reiten (finde ich persönlich nicht schön für die Tiere). Tanz und Show war schön, die Leute der Farm waren super!

This excursion was absolutely incredible, my first time in Cyprus and I wanted to experience the filter and that’s what I got, watching bread and cheese making, tour of the donkey farm, feeding the donkeys getting to learn about their use and try different products made with the milk. Then a lovely meal in the courtyard finished with traditional dancing to watch and then join in with. TUI please get better leg room coaches as it was so cramped my knees are very bruised

Uns hat sehr gut das Eselreiten, das Eselfüttern und die Produktverkostung gefallen. Auch das Brotbacken und die Halloumi Produktion hat uns gefallen. Die Tanzshow war etwas kurz aber beeindruckend. Ein sehr gelungener Abend.

The whole experience was wonderful!! The donkey sanctuary and getting to feed and interact with the donkeys was lovely then the traditional Cyprus evening that followed was excellent. Great, delicious food and superb entertainment! Only criticism, get better coaches with better air conditioning as tye travel to and from the venue was a bit uncomfortable.

The experience itself was really good. We fed and rode the donkeys which I didn't expect to happen. Learnt how they made halloumi and a delicious olive bread and then enjoyed a feast and dancing. The only thing that could have been clearer was the meeting point. We were on the opposite side of the rode and a bus stop number would have been helpful to have to alleviate concerns of whether we were in the right place for pickup.

Once there the staff and whole experience was excellent, the only thing that I would say need improving was the coach ride, it need to be organised a little better to free up seats where people were vlocking them.

Nothing about the experience other than the transport there which was an old bus with no air conditioning which made the journey there very uncomfortable however we did really enjoy the evening.

Lovely evening at the Golden Donkey Farm very informative walk around the farm and a chance to walk or ride the donkeys. Watched the bread and cheese making.Lovely meal and Greek dancing to end the evening.

Det er den bedste ferie oplevelse, til dags dato. Ejeren og personalet på stedet var hjertevarme, gjorde alt for at vi skulle have en god dag, og man følte sig ægte velkommen. Maden var fantastisk og jeg er vild med produkterne. Det er en oplevelse jeg vil tage med hjem i hjertet, og nyde resten af livet????

Ilta oli mukava kokemus. Aasit ja muut eläimet tilalla veivät sydämen. Omistaja kertoi mielenkiintoisesti tilan "historiaa". Mielenkiintoista oli myös katsella juuston valmistusta. Illallinen oli maistuvaa ja perinteiset tanssit hienoa katseltavaa. Maistiaisten nauttiminen oli hieman huonosti järjestetty, kun kaikki rynnivät kapean pöydän ääressä. Aasinmaito-jäätelöä kannattaa maistaa!

The food was great and so was the entertainment. On the booking info it doesn’t give you any info about the location so we had no idea it was on a donkey sanctuary! That was an added bonus, we did think we were on the wrong coach when the itinerary was explained. Didn’t get to do any halloumi or bread making which was offered on the booking as the staff were trying to involve the children more. We did think it was a cooking/baking class as well. Think the wording needs changing on the booking.
