On this trip, you'll explore the Akamas peninsula by land and sea. And, rather than your typical coach set-up, you'll be in a 4x4 vehicle. The area is known for its natural beauty, so you're in for a real treat. Your day begins at Avakas Gorge, perhaps Cyprus' most impressive natural wonder, with a half-hour walk through its deep canyon with sheer walls of limestone that form a natural, narrow tunnel. Other star turns include Lara Beach, where a turtle conservation project has been protecting sea turtles for decades, enjoying lunch not far from Latchi harbour, and then a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon where you can take a dip in water so clear you'll see your toes.

Schade, dass wir keine Schildkröten gesehen haben, aber allein die Nester zu sehen, einschließlich der Eierschalen, war schon unglaublich interessant. Der Nationalpark ist wunderschön, die Wanderung in die Avakas-Schlucht sehr beeindruckend und auch für Anfänger bezwingbar und die Blaue Lagune mit Schnorchelerlebnis war ein absolutes Highlight der gesamten Reise, zumal das Bordpersonal Maske und Schnorchel gratis verleihen. Tolle Aussicht, super Wetter und eiskalter Weißwein - klasse Service!

Nous y sommes allés le jour où c'était l'excursion en français, seule la conductrice de la Jeep parlait français. Premier arrêt : balade direction les gorges en étant + de 50 personnes, impossible d'entendre la moindre information sur les lieux (sachant que le guide n'était pas la conductrice Française). Une fois arrivé aux gorges ; demi-tour direct sans infos.. Bateau bondé, des gens devaient rester debout tout le long..aucune règle a bord (saut depuis le 2eme étage,etc..).

The trip as a whole was excellent if anything the trip to the restaurant was a bit marmite. The land rover up the mountains and the walk through the nature trail and the boat trip were good value for money

This trip includes everything. Start with Jeep, first stop the Gorge, worth the walk although a bit uneven in places. The Blue Lagoon was beautiful , here we stopped for a drink. The guide was excellent telling us history of the area. Lunch was good then Jeep took us to boat where granddaughters were able go down the slide and jump in the sea. Was nothing we did not like. A great trip to end the holiday

Die Tour hat viel Spaß gemacht. Super Guide, tolle Strecke mit schönen Aussichten, interessanten Informationen. Das Mittagessen war gut. Die Bootsfahrt und Badestop waren ebenfalls top. Die Gruppengröße war sehr gut.

Die Tour ist nichts besonderes. Die Schlucht konnten wir kaum sehen, weil unser Guide nicht wollte, dass wir weiter reinlaufen. Ohne die Bootstour wäre es fast langweilig gewesen. Der Guide erzählt nur von seinen persönlichen Schicksalen und rechtfertigt damit seinen Rassismus, den er nicht scheut allen ungefragt zu erzählen. Hass auf Türken, auf Afrikaner, auf die EU im allgemeinen und Corona Leugner. Anstatt was über die Insel zu erzählen, redet er nur darüber. Das ist sehr anstrengend!

Bitte Folgendes veröffentlichen: "Stichwort 4x4:: Üblich ist ein Defender von Landrover, Unser Jeep war 25 Jahre alt und hatte über 460.000 km auf dem Tacho. Kein Komfort: Sitze nicht verstellbar, Kopfstützen nur beim Fahrer und Beifahrer, wenig Beinfreiheit, Klimatisierung ausschliesslich durch offene Fenster. Es passen max 10 Pax in den Jeep: 3 in der Reihe hinter dem Fahrer, je 3 auf den beiden gegenüberliegenden Bänken hinten quer zur Fahrtrichtung, 1 Beifahrer. Nehmt wenig Gepäck mit!

The Landrover was crammed to capacity 10 pax plus bags. Very cramped very hot no air conditioning. We were told only ten minutes at turtle bay, not enough time, the stop at cafe was unnecessary could have had a longer lunch break or longer on beach. Lunch was again rushed and food was average at best. Drivers English very poor couldn’t hear in back, Drinks on boat two plastic cups of wine or lemonade very poor. Overall too many people and stops crammed in, poor quality food and drinks.

Bis zum Mittagessen war alles top. Unser Guido Antonis super. Mittagessen war garniert gut alles nur gegart sogar die pommes und dazu noch alles kalt. Dann sollte es mit dem Boot zur blauen Lagune gehen konnte leider nicht weil Kapitän keine Genehmigung bekam. Das war halt echt schade weil das ja das Highlight des Ausflugs war.

The blue lagoon part was cancelled due to bad weather and ended being in a jeep for 7 hrs feeling so ill not what we booked and no refund as yet I understand the weather is out of control but 7 hours in a jeep is not what we booked yet we are being charged will not be booking any more TUI trips

Fabulous day out, unfortunately the weather took a turn and it was too choppy to do the boat part of the tour. However the rest was excellent, our guide was great giving lots of information on the area. On our return we were immediately refunded for the boat part of the day.

De gids/chauffeur Ryan vertelde met trots over het eiland, hij zorgde ook voor de nodige humor. Zijn rijstijl is niet voor iedereen weggelegd, maar hij zorgt er wel voor dat iedereen zich goed voelt en mee is met groep. Het bezoek aan het schildpaddenstrand was amper 10 minuutjes en eigenlijk te laat en vooral te warm op de dag, dit zorgde ervoor dat we geen schildpadden gezien hebben. De natuurwandeling was dan net wel weer de moeite. Het eten was goed. De boottocht idem, voldoende zwemtijd.

Wir hatten uns von der Tour mehr versprochen. Die erste Station Akamas Schlucht ist interessant. Die Tour, wenn auch nur insgesamt 3 km, anstrengend ist. Man muss wirklich gut zu Fuß sein. Die weitere Jeep Fahrt ist ok, aber nur wenn man vorne sitzen kann. Die Schildkrötenbucht war zu unserer Zeit völlig überflüssig. Das Mittagessen war gar nicht gut. Die abschließende Boots Tour war auf einem Party Boot. Völlig überfüllt. Schwimmen wie im Freibad. T Highlight der Tour war unser Fahrer Janis.

Our driver was fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. That was our only highlight unfortunately. The gorge was ok, the beach we only stopped at for 5 mins which gave us just about enough time to walk down and then back up to the 4x4. The boat was very overcrowded although this was expected, it was worse than imagined. We were told by our Tui rep that lunch was a ‘mezzo’. This was certainly not the case. We had a buffet that looked like it had been sat out for 3+ days. GROSS!

Guide was informative, we enjoyed learning about little facts about flora and fauna. The 4x4’s would not be for everyone as they are very bumpy. We didn’t see any turtles sadly but we knew this was a chance. The boat was good but noisy with loud music. The swim was beautiful and life jackets/buoyancy aids were provided which was good for those less confident as the water is deep enough that you can’t stand up.

Long day but really enjoyed the safari and blue lagoon boat trip. Lunch wasn’t the best- buffet style chicken and chips. Unfortunately our driver/guide shared his very strong political views with us and spoke about this for the majority of the drive which made us feel uncomfortable at times- when he wasn’t talking politics he was absolutely lovely and very informative.

We booked and payed a substantial amount of money (£450) to go with TUi as we expected this to be an 'exclusive' tour. The truth is, we could have got exactly the same experience External to the hotel for £25 per head. This is likely my last holiday due to terminal cancer. The boat felt unsafe abd we were crammed like sardines! The 4x4 experience was too long, hot and severely uncomfortable, especially for myself with the bowel cancer. I was in pain throughout due to the seats.

Die Tour( Fahrt und Führung) waren gut organisiert. Der Guide hat sehr gute Kenntnisse und erklärt alles ausführlich; ging auch auf Fragen ein. War auch sehr humorvoll. Unser Fahrer George, war echt super. Hat uns auch während der Fahrt viel erzählt, ist sicher gefahren.wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Auf der Rückfahrt hat er uns sogar noch ein paar Photostops gezeigt. Sehr aufmerksam. Die Bootsfahrt zur blauen Lagune war schön aber sehr voll. Man hat nicht immer einen Platz im Schatten bekommen.

Der Tourguide Antonio hat die Toir zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht. Er hat viel über Land und Leute erzählt und für eine lockere Atmosphäre und viel Spaß untereinander gesorgt. Die blaue Lagune und auch die Schlucht sind natürlich touristische Hotspots, aber sehenswert.

Standard Ausflug ohne "Höhepunkte". 10 Erwachsene über 6 Stunden im dafür zu kleinen Landrover , der 776500 km auf dem Tacho anzeigte und entsprechend heruntergekommen war, sind eine Zumutung für alle Beteiligten. Der 63 jährige Fahrer erzählte aufdringlich seine traurige Lebensgeschichte und äußerte unaufhörlich seine anti EU und anti türkische Meinung - die keiner hören wollte. Auf der Rückfahrt dazu noch seine Meinung als Covid Leugner mit ********** Argumentation, die auch keiner hören wol

This excursion included a few stops off at different places including a gorge, Lara beach, lunch in Latchi and then onto a boat to the Blue Lagoon. It was great, I would just recommend that if this experience could be changed in anyway is that I would recommend doing the visit to Lara beach earlier in the day so there is more chance of seeing the turtles.

Jeep part and guide was very good. The Lunch was really poor, cold chips, limited salad left (just leaves) meat was more bone and fat than meat. Rather have saved the money and had time in Latchi harbour as by time we got to boat the only seats were inside but after swim the boat staff quite aggressively standing in way saying can’t go in the inside bit wet (no signs stating this), if was sufficient seating outside I would not have had to spend a pleasant boat trip in the inside bit.

Mooie toch vooral de wandeling in de kloof. Schildpadden strand Lara ook bijzonder. Boottocht naar de bleu lagoon was gezellig alleen wat veel personen op de boot! Gids was prima duidelijk en grappig! Eten was minder zou wat meer aandacht naar uit mogen gaan. Deze tocht is zeker een aanrader.

While the majority of the trip was lovely and the blue lagoon was beautiful, I can’t write a positive experience about the trip because of our driver - he drove at excessive speeds, there was no regard for the speed limits, he was overtaking dangerously, driving close to the vehicles in front, always racing the other 4x4’s and using his phone whilst driving and, my husband had to shout to him to slow down at one point - no regard for other road users or passengers in the vehicle

Bij het boeken werd ons verteld dat het een kleine groep zou zijn zonder kinderen. In een volle jeep met 2 kleine kinderen. Wat een geluk was, als het volwassenen waren geweest, had het helemaal proppen geweest. De hike door de kloof is mooi, maar een stuk langer. Er werd 1500m gezegd, bleek 5km te zijn. Het schildpaddenreservaat is een aanfluiting. 3 verkleurde posters en 10 min op een strand een foto maken. De lunch helaas ook erg slecht. Vervolgens op een boot met veel te veel mensen.

Wycieczka super, czas na wyspie zólwi móglby byc dluzszy, 10 minut to zdecydowanie za krótko, zwlaszcza ze plaza piaszczysta i mozna bylo poplywac. Natomiast wizyta pól godzinna w barze, naszym zdanie zbyteczna. Postój na posilek w kolejnym barze super. Rejs na blekitna lagune cudowny, widoki przepiekne Ale….najlepsza byla podróz jeepem z naszym niesamowitym kierowca, George przesympatyczny czlowiek, z duzym poczuciem humoru. Well organized, very friendly customer service, staff were Focused on their objectives and managed well to keep everyone satisfied! They managed the time quite well! I would recommend a bit more general information sharing about the history of the the location.

On nous a proposé une excursion en français et rien ne l’était. Notre chauffeur ne parlait pas français, heureusement que des personnes pouvaient nous traduire certains moments. Chauffeur malgré tout très sympathique. Excursion génial

Der Guide war super, hatte echt Spaß an seinem Job und hat uns eine Menge über Zypern erzählt. Die 4x4 Strewar echt der Hammer. Die Bootstour zur blauen Lagune war interessant aber das Baden war eher schlecht. Wir hatten eine Menge Nachtschwärmer (auch Erwachsene) an Bord, die trotz des Handicaps ins Wasser wollten. Das hat das Ganze unübersichtlich und unsicher gemacht. Die Guides auf dem Boot waren sehr bemüht, den Überblick zi behalten. Rundum ein gelungener Ausflug mit einer Menge Spaß.

Deze excursie kost €90,- p.p. en ik denk dat die prijs vooral de Jeep en de boottocht betaalt. De activiteiten op zich geven je naar mijn mening geen waar voor je geld. De gorge lijkt prachtig, maar er weinig aan. De cafetaria en het 'restaurant' waren ook niet bepaald € 90 waard. Je krijgt maar 10 minuutjes de tijd om Lara Beach te bezoeken, terwijl er heel wat trappen zijn die ook die tijd in beslag nemen. De Blue Lagoon lijkt idyllisch, maar is met enorm veel toeristen verre van idyllisch.

It was great for my eldest and my partner, However when I booked this with TUI Rep in hotel I went and asked for something suitable for a 4 year old he assured me this was and it totally wasn’t so we wasted over 300 euros on something myself and she couldn’t do. The only part she got to do was the turtle preservation, so actually really upset a whole day wasted and a lot of money!!

Un moment inoubliable le lâché de bébé tortues vers la mer. Un guide très sympathique, amusant et surtout il parlait français. La balade dans les failles magnifiques. Super ambiance dans la Jeep mais nous avons eu la chance d’être avec un super groupe. Petit point négatif : le repas du midi vraiment pas bon et froid.

Nous avons apprécié les paysages et voir les bébés tortues. Nous avons effectué le trajet dans un 4x4 entassé,la pause repas de midi dans un "resto" qui sert des repas sans saveur et sans aucun intérêt avec des WC dont la chasse ne fonctionne pas et sans aucun sourire ,faut vraiment en changer!!! La ballade en bateau qui s'effectue sur fond de musique "techno",a revoir aussi!

Unfortunately the 4x4 vehicle broke down leaving us stranded, travel sickness, missing lunch and completely spoiling our day, we have made a complaint to the hotel rep and await a reply

Swietna calodniowa wycieczka. Spacer po pieknym wawozie, przejazdzka off-road po.górach - UWAGA! Mocno trzesie! :-D, wizyta na plazy zólwi, a na koniec rejs nna blekitna lagune! Postoje na drinka i na obiad. Wszystko sie nam podobbalo! Polecam!

Touristenverarsche, die Höhle oder Schlucht ist absolut nichts Besonderes, Turtel Bay eine absolute Verarsche, das Essen eine Frechheit und die Bootstour billiger Tourischeiß. Ein Durchschieben von Program zu Program, rein-Foro-raus-Nächster!

Leuke tour met veel afwisseling. Goede gids en ook onze chauffeur, Mario was een toffe kerel. We vonden het voor deze prijs zeker de moeite waard en hebben genoten van de dag.

Die Tour war sehr angenehm mit einem deutschsprachigem Reiseführer , wir hatten viel Spaß und sie war sehr erlebnisreich . Die blaue Lagune ist wunderschön und wird uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Zeer goede gids. Hij heet Rico. Vertelde veel en begeleide erg goed. Het was bloed heet die dag maar de wandeling door het natuurgebied was erg de moeite waard. Neem water mee tijdens de wandeling en doe goede schoenen aan. Met slippers kun je daar echt niet lopen! Gasten bleven achter omdat ze niet op slippers over de stenen konden lopen.
