Wat te verwachten
Deze boottocht op de rivier vanuit Dalyan staat helemaal in het teken van natuurschoon. Een geweldige manier om lekker tot rust te komen. Je zet koers naar een van de meest ongerepte stranden van Turkije, met onderweg stops bij modderbaden en een restaurant aan de rivier. Ceren, een van onze lokale gidsen, zegt: "Het strand van Iztuzu staat ook bekend als Turtle Beach omdat hier bedreigde karetschildpadden nestelen. Het is een magische plek met weinig menselijke activiteit. Het strand zou in de jaren tachtig ontwikkeld worden met nieuwe resorts, maar gelukkig stond natuurbehoud hoger op het lijstje.”Je vaart de Dalyan af op een milieubewuste boot, die het onderwaterleven niet beschadigt. Dan smeer je je in met de klei van de modderbaden die het huidverouderingsproces vertraagt. Cleopatra, die bekend was om haar stralende huid, zou hier in de mineraalrijke vloeibare modder hebben gebaad. Je neemt nog even een duik in het warme zwavelbad voordat je de rivier oversteekt voor een vers bereide lunch van lokale gerechten. En voor een vleugje geschiedenis en cultuur vaart de rivierboot vervolgens langs Lycische rotsgraven die in de kliffen zijn uitgehouwen en dateren uit 400 voor Christus.Als de rivier zich verbreedt tot een lagune, krijg je de kans om vogels te spotten. Tenslotte bereik je het strand van Iztuzu. Deze 4 km lange strook goudkleurig zand scheidt de rivier van de zee. Het resultaat is een natuurlijke oase die een waar toevluchtsoord is voor wilde dieren. Beschut door bergen loopt het strand langzaam af in een kalme baai. En na een middagje relaxen sluit je je dag af met een boottocht over de rivier terug naar Dalyan. Wat is het programma van deze excursie?Het programma van deze excursie is:- 7.45 tot 8.30 uur – pick-up bij je hotel- 8.30 tot 9.30 uur – rit naar Dalyan- 9.45 tot 10.00 uur – boottocht naar de modderbaden en zwavelpoel- 10.00 tot 11.30 uur – vrije tijd bij de modderbaden- 11.30 tot 11.45 uur – een korte boottocht terug naar de andere kant van de rivier- 11.45 tot 12.45 uur – lunch in Paradise Restaurant (drankjes betaal je extra)- 12.45 tot 13.45 uur – boottocht naar Turtle Beach- 13.45 tot 15.00 uur – vrije tijd op Turtle Beach- 15.00 tot 15.45 uur – boottocht terug naar Dalyan- 17.15 tot 17.30 uur – aankomst bij je accommodatie Let op: de tijden en het programma kunnen op de dag zelf nog veranderen.

Wir haben diese Tour von unserem im Hotel Liberty Lykia Adult zuständigen Reiseleiter Pascal empfohlen bekommen. Und ich muß sagen, er hat nicht übertrieben. Diese Tour ist für Naturliebhaber bestens geeignet. Die Fahrt mit dem Boot durch das Schilf-Delta war einmalig schön. Wir konnten lykische Felsengräber sehen, besuchten einen Ort, der für Schlammbäder berühmt ist. Am besten hat mir der Besuch bei den Schildkröten gefallen. Auch das Mittagessen, welches inklusive war, war hervorragend.

Expectation of mud bath more rustic, steps into the mud pond should have marks on side to indicate where. The trip was great with boat trips and guide' s information excellent. 100% mark for the guide. Seeing turtles in the water was a plus.

Dużym pozytywnym zaskoczeniem była możliwość spróbowania niebieskich krabów w trakcie rejsu. Enjoyed all of it, especially the river cruise. The mud bath was fun, the lunch was nice and the guide very informative, good for those who are not so mobile as well as there was not much walking involved. We saw two huge turtles swimming around the boat. Only negative was not much shade at the beach

Een heerlijke relaxte tour. Het modderbad was leuk om mee te maken, het zwavelbad was heerlijk warm maar wel erg diep (1.70 m.) De lunch was een tegenvaller. Het brood was oud en de vis en de salade niet vers. Daarna een boottocht van een uur naar het strand met onderweg de graftombes. De gids wist er veel over te vertellen maar was helaas slecht te verstaan. Het strand was leuk maar bedjes kosten €8,00 per stuk, voor 1,5 uur wel erg prijzig.

Tour guide Meta was brilliant; very informative - could have done with knowing we would need € in cash in advance to save ordering something we then couldn’t pay for. But all in all, it was brilliant although the beach a little disappointing as we thought it was a tranquil bay with many turtles in, not a rough sea with very little shelter unless you paid for a sunbed etc which seemed pointless for 1.5 hours.

We were picked up on time , we had to go around 3 times looking for a group of 3 but are guide could not find them he checked all the hotels inside and out he kept apologising to us but it was not is fault they wernt their we finally set off about 30 mins later again he apologised .we arrived at the boat after picking the other couples up are captain was amazing we arrived at the mud baths then we went for lunch which was relaxed and food amazing we then got back on boat very relaxed amazing .

I have done this a few times over the years (first time in 2006) Volkan our tour guide was incredible really made it enjoyable and shared excellent knowledge. In previous years we could buy crab to feed the turtles but didn’t seem to be available, please add this option back. The restaurant in Dalyan for lunch was the best one of all the times I’ve been so far. Can’t wait to go again when I’m next back in marmaris.

Ich hatte die Tour mit deutschem Guide gebucht. Leider wurde ich umgebucht da zu wenig Anmeldungen vorlagen. Somit konnte ich nicht allem komplett folgen, da meine englisch Kenntnisse nicht so gut sind. Die Tour ansich war sehr schön, das Mittagessen köstlich. Ich würde die Tour jedem empfehlen.

Long but enjoyable day. The journey from Marmaris took roughly 1hr 45mins with a stop on the way there but no stops on the return, toilets before boarding coach on return cost money. Suitable footwear is essential. I’d recommend this trip for ages 10+ due to the long day. Food was great, though not ideal for fussy eaters. The guide was excellent and informative. The beach stop felt rushed, and the boat bumped the wall at the end, which alarmed some passengers, but thankfully everyone was fine

An dem Ausflug hat mir nicht so gut gefallen das Kleinkinder mit an Bord waren die kontinuierlich nur geschrieen und laut waren, das den gesamten Ausflug, so das ich sehr erschöpft gewesen. Auch hat man keine Schildkröten so richtig erleben können, die wurden dann beim anlegen am Strand durch anfüttern angelockt. Der Strand war schön , dort gab es aber kaum Schattenplätze , Liegen und Schirme waren extra Kosten. Alles Andere war aber sehr schön, besonders die Landschaft, das Mittagessen u.Guide

Wunderschöner Ausflug mit traumhafter Natur und tollen Landschaften. Einziger Kritikpunkt: An Bord waren Babys, von denen eines leider fast die ganze Zeit geschrien hat. Dadurch war es schwer, die Ruhe und die Natur zu genießen. Solche Ausflüge wären aus meiner Sicht eher für Kinder ab einem bestimmten Alter geeignet, damit alle Gäste das Erlebnis entspannt qenießen können.

Some concern that guide wasn't counting guests on board to ensure no one had been left behind. Cost of any drinks/snacks during the trip was rather excessively inflated. No information provided on what clothing/footwear etc would be advisable to bring which would have been helpful. The trip itself was however good value, amazing to see the Turtles and Iztuzu beach was lovely.

Guide Rose Fantastic, Cafe was lovely with a good choice of food for adults and kids. Food was excellent and good portions. Mud bath was fun. We got to see turtles, better with crab to feed them. We just would have liked more time at the beach.

Ogólnie plan wycieczki jest dobry, zmieniłbym jedynie proporcje czasu przewidzianego na dana atrakcje. Mniej czasu poświęciłbym na kąpiel błotną, natomiast więcej na pobyt na plaży żółwi caretta caretta. Ewentualnie można pomyśleć o wydłużeniu czasu calej wycieczki tak aby można było wiecej czasu spędzić właśnie na plaży.

Wyżywienie to absolutny hit ogromny wybór dań, świetny live cooking i świeże produkty .W formie All inclusive wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie .Wieczorne animacje dostarczały mnóstwo dobrej zabawy .Wszyscy pracownicy -od recepcji przez kelnerów aż po obsługę na plaży mili uśmiechnięci i pomocni. Ausflug war gut. Hat uns alles gefallen. Leider haben wir extra deutsche Reiseleitung gebucht und am kurz vor Abfahrt wurden wir aufgeklärt , dass nur in Englisch stattfindet. Reiseleitung gab sich viel Mühe deutsch zu erklären. War dann einigermassen in Ordnung für uns

Étant francophones, on peut comprendre l'anglais mais le guide parlait avec un fort accent peu compréhensible. Le bain de boue était une attraction pour tourisme de masse. L'infrastructure était catastrophique digne d'un autre temps non entretenue. C'était dangereux et non pratique. Les cabines étaient pourries. Le repas de midi était mauvais et le milieu horrible. La visite de la plage sous la pluie n'a pas eu lieu. On est resté dans le bateau à attendre. Pas de remboursement partiel.

Wir hatten das Glück mit wenig Mitreisenden und als erstes im Schlammbad zu sein Waren quasi alleine dort Eine Frühtour lohnt sich auf alle Fälle Es war sehr interessant, informativ , sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr weiter zu empfehlen

Het was een fijne ervaring, veel interessante informatie gekregen over Turkije en Dalyan en andere delen die we zagen onderweg. We hadden 2 maal dezelfde groep mensen op de bus , zeer toffe mensen, veel gelachen en gepraat. We hebben 2 maal dezelfde gids gehad. Zijn naam was Volkan, hij was zeer grappig, sociaal , behulpzaam en had heel wat interessante weetjes over Turkije. Gewoon een TOP GIDS. Voldoende tijd op de stopplaatsen. Het is een aanrader.

The experience itself was good and we managed to briefly see some turtles. A 50% chance of seeing turtles needs to be flagged up. though the upselling was tedious. However the transfer time was far in excess of what was suggested: 2.5hrs each way instead of 1-1.5 as listed on the app. If we’d know we wouldn’t have done the excursion especially as the coach seats were cramped and uncomfortable for anyone over 5’10. The seats also pinched in at the hips. This left us both sore and exhausted.

Loved everything about the trip. Guide was very informative and friendly and had good sense of humour. Mud bathes were an experience not to be missed even if ur feeling apprehensive, still do it ! River journey was relaxing and picturesque with an extremely tasty lunch provided ( even catered for me veggie with coeliac disease). Bonus , 2 big turtles spotted swimming way up the river made up for the fact that didn’t see any on the beach . Chance for a little sunbathe before heading back!

The mud bath wasn’t our preference, but it is only a small portion of the trip. The pick up was excellent, very easy transfer. Multiple options for lunch, which was very nice food and well organised restaurant. The river boat was great, picking up the cooked crabs on the way meant we managed to feed two turtles at the beach!

The whole experience was fantastic. To see turtles in their natural habitat was a wonderful experience in itself. We found the tombs fascinating and the mud bath a fun experience.

Enjoyed everything. Guide Vulcan was amazing. He knew everything about everything! Made the trip to be honest. Boat captain Unique was very helpful and what a captain! So helpful to our disabled mother getting on and off the boat. The chefs steakhouse in Dalyan was superb and service was faultless. The only downside was a traffic jam due to an accident which was completely out of anyone's hands. I couldn't recommend this trip enough. From the mud bath to the turtles....amazing.
