Surround yourself with the beauty of Ionian nature on this half-day cruise geared for children. You'll sail past Marathonisi Island, anchoring up for swimming along the way, before gaining an insight into local conservation efforts. Kay, one of our guides, says, ‘We love to show everyone this beautiful place and maybe spot a turtle to understand why and how we protect our environment. It's a fun tour, which makes sustainability visible.'You'll cast off from Agios Sostis, sailing past pine-clad Marathonisi Island in Laganas Bay. This uninhabited islet is nicknamed ‘Turtle Island' because its beaches are a favourite nesting site for loggerheads. Kids will love this one, too – there'll be activities aimed at teaching them more about turtle conservation. They'll also learn about respecting the island's environment, protecting it from litter.Next, you'll swing by the Oasis sea cave for a swim stop before heading closer to the island. We'll drop anchor once more for an extra dose of snorkelling. Remember to keep an eye on the water for signs of loggerhead turtles and dolphins. What's more, the boat has an integrated sewage drainage system, so nothing harms the sea.

We were lucky we spotted 3 turtles, the poor things were surrounded by numerous boats and had nowhere to go! Only half an hour turtling before taken for two half hour swimming stops which is quite boring if not swimming. Definitely more of a swim stop and drop than anything else. Should be two separate trips

Mooi avontuur, schitterende foto's gemaakt, alleen reisleidster waren slecht te verstaan. Sprak met dialect en nasaal. Men adverteert met bezoek aan schildpadden eiland, maar je mag niet op het eiland zelf komen. Volkomen reglementair maar dat zouden bij het boeken van deze trip, wel moeten vermelden

We paid to go turtle spotting which we did for about 15 minutes, ( we did see 2 turtles) we were told there would be a chance to swim but most of the trip was about swimming, if we had been told this we wouldn’t have gone just to sit and wait while others swam , very misleading not worth the money we paid just to sit on a boat . Not impressed, would not recommend

het is een leuke uitstap, maar spijtig genoeg gingen wij op het schildpaddeneiland niet aan land zoals ik het verwacht had met de titel "Zakynthos boottocht voor de hele familie naar Schildpaddeneiland, inclusief snorkelen". snorkelstop was heerlijk. - mikro op het schip was in zeer slechte staat, gids was amper te verstaan.

Överfull båt, fanns inte plats att sitta ens, grinig guide, sköldpaddstur? Enda vi såg var en sköldpadda i hamnen, dagens höjdpunkt, kunde ha stannat på land.. sedan åkte man runt lite bara och stannade och badade två ggr. Guiden talade engelska i högtalare, vi hörde inget av vad hon sade. INTE värt pengarna någonstans.

Jos matkaa markkinoidaan merikilpikonna risteilynä, olisi kiva että mentäisiin sellaisiin paikkoihin joissa niitä voisi näkyä tai pesimäpaikoille. Nyt tämä retki jäi enemmän kahden kerran uinti reissuksi ja kerrotaan kilpikonnista. Että en mainostaisi kilpikonna risteilynä tätä retkeä, vaikka tekstissä lukee että saattaa nähdä. Voisiko sitten olla sellainen kamera veneessä joka näyttäisi merenalta kuvaa joissa kilpikonnat ehkä näkyä

Een leuke korte trip. Helaas maar 1 schildpad gezien net bij vertrek. Gids was beneden en boven goed te horen, echter op het voordek zou een speaker gewenst zijn. Leuke crew waarmee gevaren werd. Snorkelen viel ook wat tegen, weinig visjes.

Bussresan till och från båtturen drar ned omdömet. Busschaufförerna kör alldeles för fort. De pratade dålig engelska så det var svårt att höra vad de sa. Själva båtresan var fantastisk!

The tour itself was fantastic, the swim spots were great. It felt very overcrowded, I think crowd control could be better managed, for example older people, people with disabilities & families with buggies should be catered for downstairs. Others should be encouraged to go upstairs. Was also disappointed to see people smoking on the boat, particularly downstairs with lots of young kids

Was en leuke trip . Alleen was de reisleidster moeilijk te verstaan. Dit komt toch dat de boot geluid maakt waardoor ze bijna moet gillen. Dus mijn lijkt het vooral voor de reisleidster zwaar om hard door de microfoon moet praten . Maar zeker een aanrader voor de mensen die op dit eiland komen .

Enjoyable experience on the whole (got to see one turtle under the surface of the water but not much in the way of water safety though (life jackets would have been a great addition for little ones). Wasn’t told refreshments were available on board before the trip. Couldn’t clearly hear our tour guide all the time. Wasn’t aware of siren to indicate end of each swim stop until it happened.

Was sold the experience as though we would get to swim with the turtles. We saw one whilst on the boat. Was also told that water wasn’t deep as my kids can’t swim, when we got there it was deep water. So we ended up staying on the boat the entire time, and not seeing any turtles. I felt like we were missold the experience. I could have used the €108 on something else much more suited to my children, as both are autistic and this didn’t suit at all

Our Turtle Cruise itself was very enjoyable, but the arrival was poorly organised, with large coaches trying to squeeze down an unsuitable road and into an overcrowded car park, causing congestion and delays. We can only assume this was why the cruise felt shorter than advertised, with just one swim stop instead of the two that were promised

The roads are not made for large coaches and so we sat for an hour just trying to get into a tiny and very busy port car park. It was not safe for small children and very busy and dusty with strong exhaust fumes. Given the turtles need protecting it was sad to see how many boat frantically swarmed over them just to get a picture. It felt very wrong with lots of small boats crashing into eachother. The swim stop was also busy with boats making g the water unsafe for younger children

The coach journey on the way back was chaos. Travellers need advising of the journey in full in both directions. Its advisable to point out where life jackets are and have some boat safety advise before take off.

Menokuljetus kesti melkein 1,5h. Paluubussia odottelimme täpötäydessä satamassa yli 30min. Sekoilua riitti. Hitauden takia uimapysähdyksiä oli vain yksi ja tämä oli oli ainoa asia, jota lapsi odotti. Isolla veneellä kilpikonnan ympäröiminen Laganas Baylla tuntui epäeettiselle, myös opas sanoi kilpikonnan vaikuttavan stressaantuneelle.

The tour guide was great kept us inforned with information about the islands and turtles. We only saw one turtle on the boat which was disappointing and was was disappointing that the other boats was hovering around the the turtle especially when they know the turtles get scared. And we only had one stop when promised two stops because of time as late as we couldn’t get on the bay because it was packed and very very disorganised and very disorganised leaving the driver was very angry

Waardeloos, chaotisch, niks gezien. De oude boot maakt zo veel lawaai, dat je de gids niet eens kan horen. Een half uur op de bus wachten in het begin en er was 35 graden. Daarna vanwege de ongeorganiseerd parkerrplaats meer dan een uur in de warme bus gezeten. Op de terugweg weer de zelfde, zelf de bus zoeken, wachten met kinderen zonder schaduw. Nooit meer!!! Ik vind het verloren geld!!!!

Risteily oli hyvä ja henkilökunta oli hienosti ymmärtänyt mitä asiakas haluaa nähdä.Veneellä mentiin tarpeeksi lähelle kuvattavia kohteita(kallioita yms nähtävyyksiä), uimapaikat olivat aivan loistavia sijainniltaan, ja kovan tuulen ollessa kohdalla,miehistö katsoi uuden paikan uimapysähdykselle missä aallokko ei ollut voimakas ja uimisesta/snorklauksesta pääsi nauttimaan.

Seemed cruel having 4 boats surrounding one turtle. Bus was prompt. But dropped off at location by bus driver with no instructions and no tour guide. Wondered around for 20 minutes not sure where to go and how on earth I was going to get back with 2 young kids so that was stressful. Tour guide eventually found us all - but only when one of the group called. Tour guide was however very nice. Going out to the caves and having a swim spot in the ocean was lovely though.

Det var en dejlig oplevelse at sejle i området, det var meget smukt. Lækkert at bade fra båden, men oplevede panik fra folk der skulle op og ned fra båden. Selveste oplevelsen med at se efter skildpadder, var en jagt på de stakkels dyr, udover at båden vi var på selv, jagtede skildpadder, så lå der 10 andre både, så dyrene blev omringet. Vi så ikke selv nogen skildpadder! Det var en voldsom oplevelse, at vi var med til at jagte skildpadder, og ********** ikke oplevelsen af at være på safarie!

Wycieczka mialabyc w jezyku polskim (wazne dla dzieci), byla w jezyku angielskim. Jezeli ktos sobie wyobraza, ze zobaczy plywajace zólwie to ie myli. Po wyplynieciu z portu zatrzymalismy sie w jednym miejscu, tak jak innych dziesiec Lodzi i czekalismy az pokaze sie jakas ciemna plama w wodzie - to byl zólw. Jedyne z rejsu fajne to, ze mozna byli poplywac w ladnym miejscu. Na Lodzi czuc bylo mocno spaliny.

Sadly we didn’t see any turtles or dolphins, obviously not TUIs fault it was just disappointing but the scenery, the information about the turtles and landscape were brilliant. The coach ride there however was awful. It was over 10 mins late and then the journey took an hour when it should’ve taken about 25 mins. The driver put on VERY loud music and took and made phone calls while his phone was still connected to the speakers. We were late for the boat. Not good.

I was looking forward to this trip, however I wouldn't recommend it. To start the hotel TUI staff member literally had no idea about it and didn't seem to care, the bus was an hour late and the driver did not speak any of the languages of the guests then he got lost. The TUI guide on the boat had an argument with the smaller boats and out of desperation to see a turtle the boat hounded a single turtle distressing it. It did not feel about conservation more about money

Netjes begeleid vanuit de bus naar de boot met een vrouw van tui. Vriendelijk personeel op de boot. Genoeg schaduw plekken op de boot. Wc aanwezig. Bar met slush ijs e.d. We mochten 2x het water in. Met trapjes kwam je makkelijk weer de boot op.

Unfortunately not as advertised. We booked a family friendly cruise over the normal one, because we had a 5 year old with us and wanted to keep him entertained. Cruise was advertised as having activities to keep the children entertained but there were no activities at all. The guide was giving a tour, but could not be heard over the speaker. Also a shame that the swim stops didn't go right up to sand, so nervous children could paddle instead of swim in the ocean. Not as expected.

Absolutely amazing highly recommended the staff on our boat were terrific lovely amazing and very helpful would definitely do this again!! Do not hesitate to book even if you cannot swim they have one available life jacket that they are happily able to let you use aswell as pool noodles which work well in the sea!

Ik vind deze tour echt enorm tegenvallen. We werden opgehaald bij het hotel. Wel 15 min te laat zonder dat wij hier iets over wisten. Vervolgens geen reisleiding in de bus die verteld ergens over. Tot slot op de boot hadden we een reisleiding die niet te verstaan was. Ik zou echt andere boottochten van zante zelf aan raden. Kijk op get your guide. Daar krijg je teminste een leuke ervaring.

Well, we saw some turtles, albeit from a distance. The swim stops were great but not much sign of safety and security if any average swimmers were to get into difficulty (left to parents I guess). Super skønt med bade stop i de vildeste omgivelser. Men ville ønske man forsøgte at søge mere efter skildpadder, da det er det man får ideen om at skulle se. Vi så en ude og en i havn. Ville gerne have set flere. Men ellers fantastisk tur, professionel personale, og forstående guide. Flere guider mumler og er svære at forstå når de taler i mikrofon.

Smuk tur hvor vi spottede havskildpadder flere gange - jubiii. Fin afhentning, god bus, behagelig kaptajn og smukke omgivelser. To gode badestop. Fint lille foredrag om skildpadderne. Turen tog lidt over 4 timer med afhentning og retur.

i loved everything. the boar was clean, tidy and safe. and we managed to see the turtles. We couldnt hear the lady very well on the speaker. Also at the end they had a talk on the turtles which was also difficult to hear. better speakers and microphones

Very busy when being picked up to get the coach! Coach was late due to cars parking everywhere. We had 2 children with special needs and was quite overwhelming for them. But enjoyed seeing the turtles and feeding the fish.

Super Ausflug! Vom Transfer bis zur Abholung am Ende alles perfekt. Alles verständlich, super freundliches Team. Haben einige Schildkröten gesehen und die Badestopps sind ein Traum. ?? Immer wieder gerne! Liebe Grüße

An enjoyable 3 hour boat trip which travelled from Agios Sostis and around turtle island and the southern point of Keri, which included 2 swim stops. We were fortunate to see 2 turtles in Laganas bay. The boat and crew were very protective not to stress the turtles which some smaller boats did not follow the recommended guideline. TUI rep was very informative and a talk from volunteers from Apxeaon (Greek turtle protection)completed a lovely sunny Sunday morning

Bra rymlig båt med möjlighet till skugga för barnen. Snacks och dricka fanns att köpa ombord. Lagom långa stop för att bada i FANTASTISKT vatten. Vi såg 5st sköldpaddor (varav 2st på nära håll i hamnen). Super trevlig personal ombord

Wat een aanfluiting. Ze hadden het beter boottocht met zwemstops kunnen noemen. 1 schilpad op afstand gezien en verder niks. Ook geen moeite gedaan om een schildpad te zoeken,geen extra stop bijvoorbeeld. We gingen gewoon verder met de boottocht met 2 zwemstops. Zonde van het geld want zwemmen in de zee hadden we ook op eigen gelegenheid kunnen doen en was met zeker geen 72 euro waard.

En plats med skugga där vi kunnat vänta på bussen. Vår buss var försenad pga trafiken när den skulle köra hem oss. Jobbigt särskilt för äldre och barn att stå och vänta i solen.

Saw that My Tours offered the trip for €24 and could have done same tour for cheaper. We booked TUI as we trusted the creditability of the brand and safety for such tours - but to see that we were just ushered off to another tour company and charged more for the privilege did annoy me a bit

The trip described stopping in the village keri to have free time however this did not happen and we had to make our way straight to the boat, as for the rest of the trip it was brilliant my only concern is that the second swim stop is not safe the first swim stop was fine however the second swim stop took place on the side of the island where alot of water sports take place meaning the sea is of course a lot rougher a lot of people struggled to make there way back and get back onto the boat

Linja-autossa olisimme kuulleet mieluusti heti matkan ohjelman ja menomatkan reitin aikoineen. Lähtö satamassa linja-autosta oli sekavaa. Laivamatka kaikkineen oli hyvä. Satamasta lähtö oli taas erittäin huonosti johdettu. Yksi opas ei yksinkertaisesti riitä. Lisäksi mieleen painettu bussin numero oli 206, eikä 306, mikä meille kerrottiin.

Hienot maisemat ja mielenkiintoinen tietopaketti kilpikonnista. Yksityisveneitä ja muita turisteveneitä oli paljon. Uinti niiden joukossa oli hieman pelottavaa.

Fin tur. Så 3 skilpadder på turen og hadde 2 badestopp som avtalt. Turen går ikke fra eller til Zakynthos men Zante t/retur.
