Rabbi, l'un de nos guides locaux, déclare : « C'est à bord d'une felouque que vous découvrirez la véritable essence de l'Égypte. Louxor, l'une des villes phares du pays, revêt une âme différente à l'heure dorée ; c'est comme si les esprits des pharaons reprenaient vie. »Après votre prise en charge à votre hôtel, vous vous préparerez à monter à bord de la felouque traditionnelle en bois. Tandis que vous glisserez sur les eaux ondulantes du Nil, votre guide vous fera découvrir l'horizon sous un nouveau jour. Rabbi explique : « Louxor est souvent qualifiée de plus grand musée à ciel ouvert du monde. Elle recèle de nombreux trésors archéologiques ainsi que les sépultures de célèbres pharaons, tels que Toutankhamon et Ramsès II. » Tout en l'écoutant, savourez de délicieuses bananes cultivées dans le sol fertile de Louxor, accompagnées de collations et d'une bouteille d'eau. Votre croisière paisible vous offre une escale au temple de Louxor, l'un des monuments les mieux conservés au monde. Vous pourrez y débarquer et monter jusqu'au temple pour admirer ses colonnes imposantes, ses statues et ses sculptures complexes, illuminées de manière féérique la nuit venue. The cruise was great… we didn’t go far… but the man that owned the boat was very good and stopped in a perfect location for us to take lovely photos as the sun went down, pointing out wildlife etc as we went. It was very tranquil and a lovely end to our trip. Our only criticism was our tour guide who was very knowledgeable but very softly spoken and so difficult to hear and understand… and there were only 3 of us - so we weren’t spread out.

The felucca experience was wonderful, made extra special by Abdul's warm hospitality and his lovely children, who were very entertaining! Abdul made us tea and offered snacks. The weather was perfect for sailing, with a flotilla of Feluccas on the river. It was a beautiful sight. Our guide Maria was friendly and knowledgable. Experiencing the Temple in the evening was a special experience, although it was a popular time for visitors.

Totally loved the whole experience ,guide Mohamed IV was amazing felt like we had known him for years at the end ,knowledge and communication excellent ,Felucca team brilliant fun and wanted us to enjoy their culture ,tea music and interacting with the drums was great , because we engaged they wanted to show us more and went above and beyond , timings were perfect for the sunset photos which were stunning

Considering we were caught be surprise as we were expecting a different excursion we really enjoyed it. Guide was excellent and the Fullacca fellow was lovely mainly because he didn’t try selling us additional souvenirs we do not want

This trip was excellent value. The Felucca trip was excellent and took us along a stretch of shoreline that was teeming with wildlife. The skipper was a lovely, charming man who seemed determined to give us a lovely, serene experience and provided drinks and fruit for the trip. The guide was a lovely knowledgeable local lady who accompanied us throughout the trip. She provided a great guided tour around the Luxor Temple which whilst busy was a fantastic. This was best trip we did all holiday!!!

De excursie was gepland om 4h te duren , helaas warzn wij na twee uur inclusief reistijd al terug op hotel, alles kon niet snel genoeg gaan. We hebben op de boot geen fruit gekregen zoals vermeld stond en ook zijn we maar een klein half uurtje aan boord geweest, veel zondsondergang was er dus niet aan, ook dit stond vermeld als een uur. Eens aan de tempel werden we snel uitleg toegestoken en kregen maar max een half uurtje om zelf te verkennen, jammer voor zoveel geld. Ik ben enorm teleuegesteld

We had a beautiful sail on the Nile . we would have liked that part to have been longer as it was lovely. Salma was our guide. She was very friendly and gave a real spark to the tour. It was a lovely visit.

Really enjoyed the sail and the boatman got us in a wonderful spot for the sunset. The tour guide was very comfortable to be with and informative at the temple. Remember to take a small amount of Egyptian cash with you to tip the boatman and guide. We didn’t but did arrange for an envelope with cash to be delivered through our tour guide Anton. Also have money if you need the loo. Our guide had to pay for me.
