Wat te verwachten
Verruil sneeuwvlokken in zonneschijn deze kerst in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, waar je vier uur de tijd hebt om de kerstsfeer op te snuiven. Het belangrijkste evenement is de bruisende kerstmarkt van Santa Catalina. Bij de de meer dan 70 kraampjes vind je unieke cadeaus en traktaties. De kermis zorgt voor een feestelijke noot en als je zin hebt, schaats je een rondje op de ijsbaan. Je gids wijst je ook de weg naar andere seizoensgebonden hotspots, allemaal op loopafstand, zoals de Mesa y López-markt met feestelijke hapjes en drankjes. En aan de kust bekijk je de zandkerststal op het strand van Las Canteras – ja, die is helemaal gemaakt van goudkleurig zand en is echt een unieke kersttraktatie. Op deze trip krijgt de kerst een tropisch tintje.

Kinderwagens en bagage zijn niet toegestaan, aangezien onze voertuigen hiervoor geen ruimte hebben

Dit is een avondtrip en het kan 's avonds fris worden, dus neem een lichte jas mee
Eten en drinken zijn niet inbegrepen
Deze transfer geeft je de kans om op je eigen houtje op ontdekkingstocht te gaan, dus je kunt zo ver gaan als je wilt, maar we raden deze trip niet aan als je moeite hebt met lopen

Guiderna var jättebra fick reda på mycketsom man inte hade en aning om , men kan väll tycka att de skulle ha varit med inne i Las Palmas.

If staying in Taurito, I would not recommend this trip. It took 2 hours, from leaving the hotel, to getting to the old town of Los Palmos, as we had several pick ups, and meet the guide. You then had 2.5 hours there, before moving to the new town, where you had 1 3/4 hours. New town is ok if you want to go to a shopping mall. The old town is lovely, but if you want time to see it properly, and maybe grab a coffee, there isn’t enough time. The guide was excellent, speaking 5 different languages.

Good value Staff worked hard tried their best to please everyone, which is not easy with large group. Good idea to have 3 small buses rather than large coach, made journey home quicker and we were able to get detour to dunes on our bus on journey inward due to timings of pick-ups which was again thoughtful of staff, rather than just wait in bus. We liked having visit to different parts of Las Palmas. Compared to taxi-this is much cheeper and therefore makes up for inconvenience of sharing.

Enjoyed the old town, but did not have enough time there. Saw little point in the second part at the beach and shopping mall. I can go shopping in a mall at home. I'd have rathered it was JUST the old town.

I loved the driver and guide - Mario and Cherise ! Mario was a superb driver and Cherise took time out to explain a lot to me as I was the only English person ! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was nearly two hours on the coach picking up Others and then getting to Las Palmas

Loved Las Palmas and the free time to do our own thing. In fact have just booked a TUI holiday there for Jan 2023. Great value for money Negative - guide had to speak in several languages and English didn’t happen so much as the others.

We enjoyed our day and saw a lot of Las Palmas The guide was so kind and helpful The minibus was a good idea but all the stops were awful Also too many different languages It was exhausting

A very interesting trip to Las Palmas, we saw areas that we wouldn’t have done had we made our own way there.
An entertaining and friendly guide (Clooney!) and a nice driver.
The trip duration was long enough and would recommend it.

The lack of any quality entertainment in the hotel made it a rather mediocre holiday.
The hotel hadn't even arranged a courtesy bus to and from the beach which was a couple of kilometres away.

excellent again this is our third visit to this hotel the only thing as there was no welcome meeting the next day it would have been nice to have had a message or email to say what the rules , regulations in the country you were in would have been nice but apart from that everything was fine

The good first. Robbie the tour guide was excellent and clearly knows the island well.
The bad, we were picked up from Taurito at 8:30 and taken the slowest possible way to meet up with other mini busses in a car park in San Augustin at 10:00. No explanation why the random route.
