In dit traditionele Turkse badhuis voel je hoe de stroom je poriën opent en de ontspannende massageoliën alle spanning wegnemen. Het badhuis, of hammam, is al eeuwenlang een centraal onderdeel van het leven in Turkije. En terecht - ze zijn een serieuze opfrisser voor geest, lichaam en ziel. Je detoxt in de stroomruimte, relaxt op een verwarmde marmeren bank voor een lichaamsscrub en ondergaat een bruisende schuimmassage. En je sluit je verwennerij af met een massage van 20 minuten met essentiële oliën - zalig.

1e afspraak zijn ze ons niet op komen halen en hebben 3 kwartier voor niets gewacht. Onze indruk is dat alles werd afgeraffeld bij de 2e afspraak

The journey there and back was an experience in itself... the spa itself was nice and clean but the staff were always trying to get you to pay for extras and better massages and if you didn't take them you were just blanked and made to wait

Massages were okay. The hygiene is outrageous. No toilet paper, no soap, showers didn’t work. When we returned our slippers they just put them back on the shelf without cleaning, so gross. We were rushed to go from one activity to another and after massages they just asked us to hurry and leave because next group was coming. Didn’t even offer tea.

Hammam en massage was heel goed. Misschien is het beter dat mensen van te voren hun voorkeur voor een man of vrouw kunnen opgeven bij het boeken. Daarnaast is de vermelding van 2 uur niet realistisch. Wij waren 4,5 uur weg in totaal.

The treatments were great and they were very good with our 8 and 11 year olds. Made them feel very comfortable and safe given the personal nature of massage. They loved it!

Eine pure Enttäuschung. Ich war nicht zum ersten Mal im Hamam, aber so eine oberflächliche Sache habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Nur eine trockene Sauna, kein Dampf. Nach der Sauna Wartezeit vor der Peeling-Schaummassage, natürlich ist die Vorbereitung für die Haut komplett weg. Die Mitarbeiter zeigen überhaupt kein Interesse. Ein Hamam in Nürnberg war für mich viel authentischer als diese in Bodrum.

It is a very nice place to go and the service is extremely friendly and the whole experience is very enjoyable. I paid £80 for me and my husband to have a Turkish bath and oil massage. We were told the oil massage is only twenty minutes long but for an extra £45 each we could get a full hour. We paid it but and it was a very good massage. Transport, sauna, bath, massage for two is more like £170. I think it’s still good, but just be prepared for the sit down chat and sales pitch when you arrive.

Het busje kwam opdagen, maar had te weinig plek om iedereen mee te nemen. Er zou dan een ander busje gestuurd worden dat er over 15 min ging zijn. 35 min later was dat er eindelijk. Daar aangekomen wordt er aangedrongen om een duurdere massage te boeken. Uiteindelijk is het 5 min sauna en dan in een Turks badhuis zitten. Afhankelijk van wie je een ‘schuimmassage’ geeft, duurt deze 4 of 10 min. De mannen praten intussen Turks wat zeer ongemakkelijk aanvoelt.

Lovely place and experience! We went as a family with a 5 and 9 year old who really enjoyed themselves! We also had the extra oil massage which I would highly recommend! Picked up in a private taxi which dropped us off and the staff at Turkish bath organised the taxi back.
