Tijdens deze wandeltocht onder begeleiding van een deskundige gids leert u meer over de levensstijl, geschiedenis en cultuur van Lissabon. Begin uw ervaring in het centrum van Lissabon, waar u uw gids ontmoet en aan uw wandeling begint. Bezoek het hart van het oude en nieuwe Lissabon en ontdek hoe de stad in de 18e eeuw werd verwoest door een zware aardbeving en herbouwd tot de stad van vandaag. Bekijk de obelisk op het Restauradores-plein, ter nagedachtenis aan de onafhankelijkheidsstrijd van Portugal in 1640. Bewonder de complexe neomanuelstijl van het oude Centraal Station. Leer meer over de Anjerrevolutie van 1974 tijdens een bezoek aan het Carmo-plein, de plek waar het oude dictatoriale regime van Portugal na 48 jaar ten val kwam. Mis de kans niet om door de wijk Chiado te wandelen, met zijn oude cafés, boetieks, theaters en boekwinkels. Probeer een beroemd natagebakje (roomgebak) en dwaal door het oude doolhof van pleintjes en smalle steegjes van de Moorse wijk Alfama. Stop bij een oude wijnbar voor een wijnproeverij en een tapa. Eindig op het Comercioplein, voorheen de entreehal van de stad.

We loved the walking tour. Our guide Chon, was engaging and knowledgeable and made the tour fun.
Lots of opportunities for questions to be asked. The stop offs for pastel de natas and a snack and wine were fab, and we were with a lovely group of people. Learned and saw a lot.

We had Marie on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th June. We enjoyed the tour which lasted almost 3.5 hours. The tour was informative of the history and founding of Lisbon along with seeing some of the main highlights of downtown Lisbon. The tour was enhanced by some tastings of wine and local delicacies.

A wonderful walking tour that sets the scene as to why and how Lisboa came to be. Also lots of hints and tips on what to do. A must if you have not been to Lisboa before and make sure you do this at ghe beginning of your holiday so you can benefit from the tour. Ps. Our guide was Daniel. 5 star

The tour was a really good way to see Lisbon and familiarise the key spots and information in a few hours which made it good value for money. The guide Chon was excellent and really full of information and tips the tour included a pastry and shot of authentic liquor! Great value highly recommended.

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Lisbon. Our guide, William Silva (Gil) was knowledgeable and gave us tips on how to enjoy the rest of our break. We explored all aspects of Lisbon, including tasting traditional custard tarts, wine and cod fish tapas. The group were very friendly too.

Filipa gave us a great tour of the central areas of Lisbon. The tour provided both historical and modern information on each area’s characteristics.
The pastel de nato, tapas and vinho provided were very welcome and came just the right time.
