Cosa aspettarsi
Scopri la Zanzibar rurale e le bellezze dell'isola con un avventuroso tour in quad (tipo: Can Am 450cc). Prima di partire, riceverai un briefing sulla sicurezza presso la base del quad, prima di equipaggiarti, imparare le basi del quad e iniziare la tua avventura di mezza giornata, da solo o in compagnia. Il viaggio vi porterà in terre incontaminate, irraggiungibili in auto, attraverso risaie e piantagioni di canna da zucchero. Avrete l'opportunità di sperimentare l'autentica vita rurale visitando un villaggio locale e di entrare in contatto con gli zanzibarini. Il tour è accompagnato da una guida locale di lingua inglese che condividerà con voi interessanti aneddoti su Zanzibar e la sua cultura durante il percorso. Sono previste soste per scattare foto o semplicemente per sgranchirvi le gambe.

Questo tour include il prelievo dagli hotel della costa settentrionale e nord-orientale, che includono le aree di Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa, Matemwe, Kendwa e Nungwi. È previsto un supplemento per il trasporto in caso di soggiorno in altre zone di Zanzibar: 120 USD (minimo 2 persone), da pagare in contanti in loco.

Loved going to the village but didn’t enjoy the children grabbing my hands so much, but I guess that’s their way. Fascinating trip into village life.

The tour is very misleading; firstly I paid for 2 separate Quads and we shared the same Quad. It’s hardly a Quad ride of any speed you are using your Quad just to travel to and from to see the Rice Fields and local villages. They certainly do not ride the Quad on a beach as shown on the photo for advertising. All you see is a 10 min ride on the road and off track to Rice fields and a few small villages to see how they live and the same on the return. Don’t bother if you like speed!!

I liked everything. The boy the guide was sooooooo nice, he explained everything with patience, he took me to the rice plantation, to the river and to the village to see the people, the kids and their life there. Everything amazing i loved it.

Die Tour als solche ist gut. Aber euer Werbefoto vermittelt ein völlig falsches Bild und schürt eine Erwartungshaltung, die keineswegs erfüllt wird. Es geht weder an einen Strand, noch hat die Tour etwas mit einem leichten Lebensgefühl zu tun, welches durch die lachenden Gesichter suggeriert wird. Die blanke Armut in den Dörfern und das sehr entwürdigende Betteln hat nichts mit dem Werbefoto gemein. Die Tour hinterlässt einen tiefen Eindruck der Demut vor den signifikanten Unterschieden.

Bij deze tour zijn de eerste stops bij rijstvelden, waarbij eea wordt verteld over de landbouw op Zanzibar. Vervolgens zijn er 2 bezoeken aan dorpjes waarbij kennisgemaakt wordt met lokale bevolking en getoond wordt hoe er geleefd wordt. Wij hadden voor de kinderen cadeautjes meegenomen vanuit NL en de gids hielp ons bij het uitdelen hiervan (gezien het grote aantal kinderen). Voor ons een geslaagde en leuke tour!

We had our quad bike tour with Payo Quad Zanzibar company and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Our guides were Hajji and Godwin and they were very hospitable and friendly to me and my wife. They made us feel at home and explained the whole tour clearly and showed us how to operate the quad bikes safely before we started. There are many stops along the way and the experience takes 4hours, I would strongly recommend booking with Hajji and Godwin.

Leuke en gevarieerde route. Wel wat stugge gedateerde machines (zwaar sturend, zware gashendel en zeer hete motor naast je blote benen. wel riante zit voor bijrijder Zou wel handig zijn om vooraf duidelijk aan te geven dat men wel verwacht dat je in de dorpjes spullen uitdeelt. In 1e dorp stop je bij kleine winkel en deel je snoep uit, bij 2e dorp deel je rijst uit en bij 3e dorp deel je wasmiddel uit (zo hebben wij het gedaan). Totale kosten aan gekochte materialen € 40 men verwacht dit

De trip was een hele ervaring, door het binnenland van Zanzibar, leuk om kennis de maken met de bewoners, hoe zei daar leven . veel uitleg gekregen over wat daar groeit door lokale bewoner. Gids gaf veel uitleg over de bevolking en de flora en fauna. Ik vind het zeker een aanrader om deze trip te doen.

Ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Mehr über das Leben der Einheimischen zu erfahren war sehr interessant.Die Dorfbewohner haben jedoch Geschenke erwartet. Das hatte man uns nicht gesagt. Daher sind wir dann vorher in einen Laden gefahren um Geschenke zu kaufen….das waren dann nochmals 20 Euro on Top. Sollte man halt wissen damit man nicht zu sehr überrascht wird. Hier ging es weniger um das Geld für die Produkte sondern eher das man eine gewisse Erwartungshaltung erfüllen musste. Dennoch Top Ausflug

wir haben leider nicht viel gesehen - dem Bild nach zu urteilen, dachten wir, dass wir auch am Strand fahren würden. Wir sind aber lediglich durch ein paar Dörfer gefahren - sehr monoton. Wir sind auch nur 2 Stunden (statt 4) gefahren...

Alles was goed, behalve de ophaalservice. Zaten 2 mannen in waarvan 1 heel hard rijd en zich zelf naar huis reed. Vervolgens een jongen van 21 verder rijd maar geen Engels kan, worden aangehouden, was een probleem met zijn stickers. Voelde ons niet veilig.

The picture of the trip miss-sells what you actually do. I wanted to ride the quad bike along a beach (as the picture shows) but this doesn’t happen. Instead you visit a couple of local villages and go to a bar which is located on the beach. It’s quite good fun but a little staged at the villages as there are convenient shops to buy sweets to give the kids. Would recommend doing the trip for the experience and to get out of the hotel but wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. 5/10 rating

Leuke avontuurlijke tour. Je doet 2 local villages aan die normaal niet te bereiken zijn met een auto. Gids zelf opgegroeid in 1 van de villages geeft een schat aan informatie. Je maakt echt met de locale (maar arme) bevolking. Het uitdelen van snoepgoed aan de kinderen was een beleving op zich.

Leuke activiteit, je gaat langs lokale bewoners en ziet hoe zij leven. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het heel erg stoffig is, dus trek oude kleding aan en schoenen die in de wasmachine kunnen haha. Verder echt een aanrader!

Vi stod for alt for at komme i kontakt med arrangørerne og kunne ikke få noget svar - fik hjælp fra hotellet ellers var vi aldrig kommet på turen. Vi har brugt rigtig mange time på det set er nemmer at bestille det lokalt og billigere. Det kan i ikke være stolte af. Yderst dårligt arrangeret af TUI??????
