Questa avventura rurale è un ottimo modo per conoscere la regione orientale della Repubblica Dominicana. Iniziando con un'avventura di rafting sul fiume Chavón, visiterete il villaggio locale, noto come batey, per conoscere la vita della comunità degli zuccherifici locali. In seguito, esplorerete le coltivazioni tipiche della zona, visitando le fattorie di cacao e di canna da zucchero, oltre a quelle di tabacco e caffè. Ci sarà la possibilità di assaggiare alcuni di questi prodotti. Si visiterà la Basilica di Altagracia, prima di concludere il viaggio in un ranch tipico, dove si potranno sperimentare in prima persona la cultura e la cucina locali.

Poor

No boat trip as advertised, they must have known earlier in the morning that the river level was too high. There was also a lot of waiting around after the attractions, which was frustrating. Wellington did his best to include us and communicate in English, which we appreciated. However, Christian at the Coffee Ranch was a bit over-dramatic and perhaps a little too much for us Brits. 🫣 Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this excursion and would suggest choosing a different trip.

We got to see so much. The guide Johnathan was excellent. He was very good at imitating noises, such as animals and sirens. The driver was fun to. The trip in mountains was wonderful,with lunch and Christopher was an amazing hoste. All in all a brilliant day.

De excursie gaat alleen naar zaken waar je iets moet/kan kopen. Rivier toer is niet gedaan. 4x4 tour ook niet. Veel hetzelfde. Chocola en koffie.

Wellington, our guide was phenomenal. He took time to explain in great detail, was very knowledgeable, and was happy to answer any additional questions we had. Roberto, our driver was very attentive to us with drinks and, despite there being 3 parallel vehicles, always knew who we were and made sure we got on the right one. We couldn't have asked for a better duo.

M. Wellington était sympathique. Il était à l'aise français allemand espagnol. Parcontre, il était très peu à l'aise à parler de l'histoire de la République. J'aurais aimé qu'il nous parle vraiment des gens, de la relation avec les haïtiens, de ce qui arrive à votre pays. Qu'il nous présente plus émotivement et de façon réaliste de votre beau peuple. Là dessus je n'en sais pas plus qu'à mon arrivée malheureusement. Chocolaterie et cigare ********** commercial
