We liked the guide and their knowledge of the island/area. We also liked the free time provided in Limassol which gave us the chance to look around on our own. I think the directions to the pick up point in the morning were not very clear and we ended up waiting in the wrong place, thankfully the guide/driver did find us.

The day overall was great. Limassol was lovely, very hot though. The museum was brilliant and both the tour guide and coach driver were great. I did think £100 for 3 people was a little expensive.

Guide was very knowledgeable and threw lots of information at you. No toilet on coach which was difficult when some people had been on the coach 2 hours then had to wait for guide to finish her talk to be shown where to go. Personally wasn't keen on the town. Castle was good. Maybe should have taken a walk to the beach and enjoyed there. Nice little stop at the rock for a picture.

Andriana the guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out interesting points along the whole journey there. Upon arrival, there was a short walking tour where Andriana indicated all of the main points of interest in Limassol and landmarks to look out for to ensure we all made it back to the bus. The tour also included a quick photo stop at Aphrodite's rock.

Lovely guide an very informative. Nice little stop at Aphrodite birthplace. 50mins from our hotel to Limassol although bus was 20mins late on pick up. Nce Harbour and old town with quirky side streets. Keep going left and you wont get lost! Nice day out and the 2hs 30mins free time is more than enough

Guide was amazing giving lots of history along the way. The stop at Aphrodites Rock for photos was an excellent touch and she showed a us how to find anything we would want at Limassol. Disappointed with the old town itself. It was hard to find in amongst new buildings and shops and just felt too built-up and like any city. Highlight of the trip -Paradox museum. Absolutely fantastic. Great family memories made. Staff friendly. Was told it closed at 1pm so rushed but didn’t close until 7pm!!

Le retour a lieu trop tôt. On ne peut pas visiter le château et le musée, nous avons dû choisir. Pourquoi pas revenir au moins 1h30 plus tard ? Sinon, la formule balade avec le guide pour se repérer et ensuite le temps libre est très **********. Guide très attentive à son groupe et très compétente.

From being picked up by coach to the guide and driver,also the knowledge guide gave to us and being friendly and helpful, to the safe driving was Excellent. Limassol itself, looked ugly in places with so much Graffiti. But parts of Limassol by the Harbour and seafront were nice. It was certainly value for money.

Very disappointing trip, guide was very knowledgeable on bus but only pointed to streets in old town once off the bus, old town very run down lots of graffiti and poor, no market or area of culture to visit. Left to wander around at hottest part of day nothing to do and little shade. Sat with feet in pool to cool off while a young couple fraternised near by !!!!

I feel that we could have had a little more time in Limassol.We are senior travellers and were not able to see as much as we would have liked. The tour leader was excellent. Her knowledge of the history of the area was extensive and much appreciated.

We got picked up on time from our hotel at 9.05am, drove to Limassol which took about 50 mins then walked around the area near the marina with our guide for half an hour all the while we were given interesting information then we had 3.5 hours free to go where we wanted. On the return journey we stopped for photos at Aphrodites Rock. Nice day out for 24 euros!

Sophia our guide gave us good information …both history of Cyprus and what Limassol had to offer. The walking tour around the old town showed us relevant parts. We had plenty of time to do what we wanted as individuals. The photo stop for Aphrodite’s Rock was a pleasant surprise. I must too mention that the coach driver was friendly and I felt safe. All in all, a very good trip as it was somewhere I hadn’t visited.

Sophia our Guide was so good, told us lots of information that we didn't know from our last 2 trips there. Nothing was too much trouble for Sophia. She made the trip even more interesting. If we could give her a score of more than 10, the score would be off the scale. Anyone doing this trip, needs Sophia as their guide, especially as she was exceptionally well versed in the history of Cyprus. Very very good, friendly, welcoming to all.

We enjoyed the castle and the cathedral and looking round the marina. We did not enjoy the shopping experience. Although the location of the market was described to us none of the people who tried to find it managed to do so. Our suggestion would be that after the cathedral the guide actually accompanys those who want to go to the market. Description of old town leads one to think of artisan crafts, none if which we saw.

We booked a guided tour. Upon arrival in Limassol we had a short talk about the port area. The guide then dashed off to get her phone repaired and we did not see her again until we picked up the coach to come back. This was made worse with the weather being quite bad…..a time when you need the expert advice of a guide!!

The weather on the day of the trip was horrendous. Wind speeds of 35/40 mph lashing rain & cold. We couldn’t open our balcony doors or leave the hotel. We had no waterproof or warm clothing with us as this weather has not happened during May in Cyprus for over 100 years. We discussed our concerns with the TUI rep in our hotel however she said that even with the exceptional circumstances the trip would go ahead so no refund. We value our health & safety & are hugely disappointed that TUI doesn’t

The history lesson on route was brilliant and gave us great information on Cyprus . The walking tour was also very good but the free time given should have been longer and maybe, a map of what is where, would have been good to explore on your own. Instead, we were left to explore not knowing where we were going or what to see.

I enjoyed this excursion it was reasonably priced and the guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The visit to the castle was interesting and I enjoyed walking along the piers and promenades. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance from the old port.

The trip was a huge disapointment because tui allowed visitors to be taken on a bank holiday when all the attractions that were listed for visiting during the trip were closed. Our guide was very upset that this had been allowed to happen and agreed that it was unfair to the customers. The trip should of been properly researched by Tui and arranged for another day as it was a waste of money

Csstle museum is a hidden gem. An extra 1/2 in the tiwn would have given time to have a lunch. Sfter seeing the cathedral, castlez, marina and visiting some shops we didnt have fime for a cafe or restaurant. The photo stop at Aphrodities rock was an unexoected afded bonus to the trip

The guide and coach driver were both very friendly and welcoming, which created a pleasant atmosphere for the trip. During the coach journey to Limassol, the guide shared a lot of interesting information with the group, including historical facts and useful background about the area. The coach itself was clean and comfortable. When we arrived in Limassol, the guide clearly explained the meeting points and timeframes for returning and offered the option for people to either stay with him split.

The journey from our hotel to Limassol was most enjoyable. We had time to admire the dramatic scenery. The driver was very competent. The guide was friendly and welcoming. However, the sound system needs some improvement. Passengers at the rear of the coach had trouble hearing the guide's descriptive talk, announcements and history of the area.

De gids was moeilijk verstaanbaar mede doordat de geluidsinstallatie in de bus niet goed werkte en de shopingwinkels waren ook niet bijzonder zijstraatjes wel gezellige terrasjes verder was het opstappunt voor meerdere mensen onduidelijk er kwamen mensen niet opdagen die zijn achtergebleven en daardoor vertrok de bus ook nog eens een half uur telaat

Looking at the image for the excursion it looked as though it would have been more of an old town vibe visit. Obviously not knowing anything about Limassol, one tends to rely on the images and descriptions. At a cheap price of €22 each, it did signify a basic experience. Literally walking around a small area of new v’s old. To be honest it was ‘ok’ but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as I have been on far better Excursions on the TUI website that were unforgettable. Cheaper to get the bus?

From the start of the trip the guide was unpleasant I had a spare ticket as my sister did not go and a man asked if he could buy a ticket as someone in his party wanted to go. I heard him and said to the guide the man could have my sisters ticket she became angry about my suggestion and said she was not having all this politics at this late time and if the person wanted a ticket she should have bought one sooner than this. I thought what is the harm in giving the place to some one else

So enjoyed the guided tour of the old port, the history of Limmasol and the cathedral. Had lunch at McDonald's and tried pistachio mcflurry it was excellent. Shopped for souvenirs and got some cheap presents to take back. We had more time than needed to shop and so sat by the old port to use up the time.

The guide was very impatient.she wouldn’t wait for slower people and started talking before everyone reached her. Even on a toilet break she marched in to the ladies and told some older people to hurry up. We arrived at the old town too early in the morning as the majority of the shops were closed. The guide seemed as if she didn’t want to be there at all

Could hardly hear the guide. 1 person trying to explain and give info when there is 54 people isn’t really clever as a lot couldn’t get near to understand what’s going on. Spoke to quite a few people on the trip and they explained how disappointing the trip was. The guide was lovely but tui need to actually go on the trip and see how their customers feel

Unfortunately a lot of Limassol was closed so there was little for us to enjoy (for four hours) whilst we were there. The Tui tour guide was a lovely lady and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about half an hour before having free time to explore. But, I wouldn’t recommend this trip, we’d have preferred to stay in our hotel for the day. I will say - we visited from 11am onwards in early September so perhaps this is why it was very quiet.

Guide was awful. 51 passengers on board the coach , we sat near the back and could t hear her for 95% of the time. Other guests were also complaining . Old town Limassol was a waste of time effort , a days holidays wasted and money. On arrival no ear pieces given out. 4 hours far too long. Guides directions to shops incorrect. We spent the free time waiting to be picked up. Nothing to see or do. Awful experience. Visit should have gone to newer part . Too far to walk to that area from old town

Pick up time go by voucher time not rep advised time as we stood in the sun for 40 mins before we started. Rep was informative but vague on dome bits so didn't really actually really know what we were looking at . Bus had a temporary breakdown . So the journey to limassol was not the best. Arrival was at the port area guides gave good direction for all areas & meeting point and time . Unfortunately for us the place was dead when we went most was of our time was at castellos bar . Prefer paphos

Guide was very informative. Lots of detail and history provided on the bus journey. Very clear instructions regarding pick up location, and advice about the area when we arrived. Enough time to explore a range of things (Castle, Paradox Museum, lunch, walk around the harbour/sea front, bit of shopping). Smooth journey back after a very warm day was much appreciated.

Wir buchten den Besuch der Altstadt, um etwas über deren Geschichte und der Geschichte Limassols etwas zu erfahren. Da es keine Führung auf deutsch gab, wählten wir Englisch. Während der Fahrt erfuhren wir etwas über Zypern Ansonsten aber wurden uns nur verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Besichtigungen, Toiletten, Restaurants und schließlich Uhrzeit und Ort der Abfahrt genannt. Die Erwartung einer Altstadtführung wurde somit leider in keiner Weise erfüllt.

Collected on time. Guide explained the days schedule well. Guide explained history of the island well on the trip to Limassol. After a short guided trip with the guide in the old town we had a few hours to explore Limassol. The weather on our visit was extremely hot ! It is fair to state that we are not particularly interested in the historical features so we were basically visiting cafes and shops. The old part of town is pretty.

The tour guide was informative, but went on a bit too much once we were there. Hardly anything to see and hardly anything open. There was one nice little strip covered by umbrellas and the harbour, but that was all. The main shops were all closed.

Prachtige stad! Leuke informatie verkregen van de gids! Het was heel erg warm die dag. Gids heeft ons goed geïnformeerd om veel water te drinken en zorgde steeds voor schaduwrijke plekjes.
