Menorca's summer-evening markets are a must-see. Laidback and folksy, you'll find all sorts of artisan crafts on sale and the aroma of local produce wafting through the air. We'll pick you up and take you one of the island's biggest, either in Mahon or Es Mercadal.You'll be picked up at your hotel and driven to one of the markets when the sun sets. When you arrive, you'll have a few hours' free time to browse the stalls for souvenirs. These markets usually focus on handicrafts and local produce, so expect lots of leather goods, handmade ornaments, bottles of wine and cheese sets to steal the show. Streetfood vendors like to set up shop here, as well, so you can sample some local delicacies while you wander, too – we recommend the marinated olives. These markets are an especially good place to pick up a pair of the lightweight avarca sandals – Menorca's signature summer footwear. And, since these markets are held when the sun's gone to sleep, you don't have to worry about dealing with the Menorcan heat. The evenings here are usually really comfy temperature-wise, which makes it easier for you to relax and soak up the market's atmosphere.

Bus was 25 minutes late. Was offered 15 minutes extra at market. When arrived not many stalls and some of the shops were closing early. No live music in square. Wouldn't have bothered going if i knew this before

It appears that no research went into this trip. It was a complete and utterly waste of money. Basically a bus journey (which was 30 minutes late!) To take us to a very few market stalls. Literally nothing was happening. Everyone that we spoke to said what a waste of time and money it was. This is not good for Tui at all.

Enjoyed - prompt pick up, food we bought in local restaurant Didn't enjoy - no more than 10 market stalls with only 3 different types of seller, the weather had been rainy all afternoon so this trip should have been cancelled as stall holders clearly didn't attend because of the poor weather, they had everyone's email to contact, really poor value for money. Badly organised and badly dealt with.

Aporeciate it was the last market for 2025. Guide was good, but torrential rain dampened the spirit significantly. Not many stalls and the T circuit was completed in 15-20 mins. That left 2hrs before the coach left to go back to the Hotel. Walked around again - fine if you wanted cheese, leather goods or clothes - but not a great memory, nor experience. Had a beer to kill time. Maybe different in June/July ? Not recommended for September !

we found it very disappointing, only a few stalls out. Not sure if this was due to the weather or because it was late in the season. In reality we paid £40 for a bus to see about 12 stalls some of which were duplicated throughout.

As we're in UK and couldn't buy food products to bring home, other stalls were mostly selling overpriced clothes or jewellery. We certainly didn't need 3 hours there. Our guide said there was music in town square but by the time we'd eaten it had finished.

Did not enjoy this trip at all. I dont feel this trip was for tourists, all the resturants were either full or fully booked by local people, therefore we didnt get to have a meal like we planned so ended up eating a cold piece of pizza and drinking warm beer. Very disappointing.

Our host was lovely and explained about the area, favourite little cafes and tapas bars. She also gave us information about the type of stalls would be there. Clear instructions about timings for the journey back to the hotel. Our driver was friendly and an excellent driver ?? It was extremely busy even in September and some people struggled to find somewhere to eat but that just shows how popular it is. I would definitely recommend it.

The pick up was prompt and the journey smooth. We were dropped off at the top of a fairly steep incline and walked to market. This should be pointed out when booking the trip if it isn't in the small print already. It was a big, lively market with plenty of variety and the surrounding shops were open too. Coming home, there was no sign of the Tui rep to tell us which bus to get on and due to several excursions being held, there was a lit of confusion as to whose bus was whose.

The collection from the hotel was great, including the drive. The market was wonderful and energised. We brought some amazing local gifts and had wonderful food. The only negative was waiting for the coach back. It was confusing as 3 buses arrived and they were not ours. Left people standing around in the road. Then when the coach came the guide left us to go have "a drink with her family".

Really enjoyed the night market and the atmosphere it was great sitting in the town square with the locals listening to the local entertainment. The only downside was the rep made such a point that we arrive back to the coach 15 mins before departure to ensure we did not get on the wrong coach and she turned up 10 mins late with 2 coaches on site and a little bit of chaos which was amusing but not a great example or image.

Guide hat auf der Fahrt nichts zu Land und Leuten erzählt. Haben vorher nicht gewusst, auf welchen Markt wir fahren. An-und Abfahrt war über eine Stunde. Markt war sehr überfüllt, vor allem die Bars.

It was extremely expensive when the fee only covered transport. The bus then arrived late to collect and the journey we were told would be 30-40 mins took 1hr and 20 mins on the return journey - when you struggle with travel sickness this isn’t ideal! I would describe the market more as a craft fair, the stalls were quite limited - talking to other guests they felt the same. Restaurants wouldn’t let you sit outside for a drink so we ended up spent an hour in a park as had looked at everything!

Zeer klein op 20 minuten waren wij al rond. Groot deel was het kaas en salami.. Dan zolang wachten op de bus. Zeker geen voltreffer. In Sarlat in Frankrijk loop je er echt in een doolhof. Ik had er veel meer van verwacht. Zeker als je zoveel tijd krijgt...

Over crowded. No where to get a table so couldnt eat anything. Food stalls were covered in flies so not hygienic to buy from. On our pick up no one knee what coach to take. All very disorganised. When getting our coach we had to walk down a very narrow path, and the ********** coach driver decides to open the side storage door which came out and hit my arm, pushing me sideways. I shouted to stop but he didn't even leave the coach or raise his head. I had my 8 year old daughter with me too

Was hoping for more of a traditional market with clothes, bags, wallets etc but it was predominantly cheese, pizza and jewellery. Coach was €25 each, but we ended up getting a taxi back after an hour for only €20 in total. Needs to be described better as a food market Was incredibly busy, extremely crowded.

Also man Steigt um 18:15 in Bus ein keine Infos nichts fährt eine stunde der Küste entlang um Leute einzuladen dann wieder alles hoch um an den markt zu fahren. 20.00 etwas später da und um 22:00 wieder abfahrt. Ist aber erst um 21:00 Dunkelheit also viel zu wenig Zeit und sehr sehr schade . Der Guide redet nichts sagt nichts ausser wo die Toiletten sind und Hotels . Super der Bus fährt direkt an Markt muss nicht in der Nacht Autofahren in Menorca .. Habe gemerkt ich bin echt keine Gruppen Typ

I enjoyed the night market immensely. What would have been better would for the pick up to be 1 hour earlier as the journey of getting there was a lot longer than originally explained. It would have helped to get to the restaurants before getting busy giving more time to browse the shops and market

The market is manic very busy so be prepared. Lots of stalls and shops selling some great items but like any market there are also some selling overpriced rubbish so look closely particularly at the jewellery before you buy it. Most is great though. Our guide Fran was fabulous and shared some great information that encouraged us to travel out on our own on the next few days. A busy but great experience. Ps If you don’t like cheese there is no food tasting so don’t go hungry.

Reena the rep was fabulous, a realbreath of fresh air and she basically made the trip interesting and fun. The market was lovely, so busy and had to queue ages to eat, so only 20 min to look around after before the coach pick-up, but really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Advertised as craft stalls, but mainly cheese and meat stalls, which you can’t take into the UK and jewellery stalls. We were last pick up which meant last drop off. Half hour journey, but people had been travelling for 90 mins if 1st on. On the way back, we ended up getting off at first drop off and paying thirty euros for a taxi back to our hotel rather than spending 90 mins on a coach. No taxis available at market. Rep wasn’t at meeting early enough to explain which coach was ours.

The market trip was disappointing. The rep didn’t get on the coach with us, she called the driver when we were half way there to ask him to go back to collect her. He said it would make us very late so we went without her. Market was very small, which was disappointing. It was also extremely over priced, it felt like a tourist trap. Since we were late, we had little time there. I would not recommend. Rent a car for a day. go around the island yourself there are lots of shops and they are cheape

TUI rep didn't make the coach and one other person failed to turn up, so we were around 30 minutes late leaving. The suggested 20 minute journey turned out to be nearer 40 so by the time we arrived we had less than 2 hours at the market, which was not at all long enough.

Expensive for what it was. Once on board we were told we can get the local bus there and other markets for €1.70 even though we were charged €25 for the TUI booking! After around 50mins we were ready to go back but had to wait around to return back to hotel. All the stalls were pretty much the same stuff, wouldn’t recommend at all! Very very disappointed

As lovely as Maria was, the organisation was lacking. She miscounted guests at one hotel, and we had to turn back. She told us to return by 10pm (for a 10:15pm departure), but she arrived at 10:10pm — after two buses had already left. With multiple buses, little communication, and language barriers, it was chaotic. One TUI rep tried to help, but we were sent to three wrong buses. Poorly organised overall.

We never got told how busy it would be i have mental health issues and this really triggered it being there we could get anywhere for food so we didn't eat that night as we left before our hotel food was on and came back after it finished it course me to have mental breakdown and ruin 2 day of my holiday trying to recover from the emotional damage

Für einen Aufenthalt von ca. 2 Stunden waren wir insgesamt 3 Stunden mit dem Shuttle unterwegs. Wir waren das erste Hotel bei der Abholung und es hat über 45 Minuten gedauert, bis alle Hotels abgeklappert waren. Erst danach ging es auf den Markt. Auf dem Rückweg dann derselbe Ablauf. Von der Servicemitarbeiterin im Hotel hätten wir erwartet, darüber informiert zu werden. Dann hätten wir diesen Ausflug nämlich nicht gebucht. Sorry liebe TUI, das ist für mich reine Geldmacherei!

Es wird was anderes erzählt wie es ausgemacht worden ist. Es wird von TUI so verkauft, das man 3 Stunden Aufenthalt hat, so ist es leider garnicht. Die hin fahrt dort hin hatte 1, 5 Stunden gebraucht und so wieder zurück. Der Markt selber ist sehr schön, Daum hoch. Wen ich das noch mal dort hin möchte, dan lieber mit einem Leihwagen.

Lovely market ! Walk it within a hr no Toilets about wasn’t told untill the beginning of the Trip ! Found it Exspensive I pay 50 euros for me and partner to get there ! Time we got there was time to come back ! There’s Trips all day for that price ! We only had few hrs !

On nous as vendu cette « activité » comme marcher nocturne de Mahon au final on nous as ramenés as un autre endroit, le marcher était tout petit et très peu d’exposants artisanaux, très déçu, le prix est très cher pour ce que s’est. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

Leider kam die dame die uns zu diesem event abgeholt hat. Zwanzig minuten später zum vereinbarten termin. Diese dame sprach nur English und nötigte uns dazu ein happy birthday lied zu singer für eine andere dame die am nächsten tag geburtstag hatte. Das war irgendwie komisch. Sie wollte die situation auflockern mit dem lied aber ex war wirklich strange ??.

Erwähnenswert ist noch die ausgezeichnete Reiseleitung (Susana), die sich Zeit nahm und die Gruppe ausgezeichnet betreute. Mit ihrer Hilfe haben wir verschiedene Angebote wahrgenommen, sehr schöne bleibende Erinnerungen.

The guide was exceptional - very warm, welcoming and informative. The driver very polite. Punctuality for transport - excellent. The atmosphere at the market was amazing - very traditional and a wide range of stalls, bars and eateries to choose from. The live music in the square was amazing. Only ?? was having to leave at 10.10pm! ??

Really enjoyed the selection of restaurants in the town. Town itself was a lovely place to visit. Perhaps a few more recommendations from the TUI rep for best places to eat and drink and other highlights of the town.

Guide very good, journey there was approx 20mins longer than coming back. Never saw any dancing which we were told there would be, just someone singing/acoustic.

Informative guide. Only a short walk to market from where bus dropped us off. Bustling market with a concert event also going on in the square. Very enjoyable experience

Excellent
Lovely atmosphere, bustling with happy crowds all well behaved. Crammed with lovely things to see and buy. A mix up at the end, and we felt sorry for the rep Holly when the bus company changed the buses at the last minute and no one knew which bus to get on. A bit disconcerting but Holly got us back safe and sound.
