Due siti storici che hanno contribuito a cambiare il mondo sono i protagonisti di questo tour di mezza giornata. Attraverserete il confine con la Spagna e visiterete il Monastero della Culla della Scoperta e il Muelle de las Carabelas, entrambi a Palos de la Frontera, da dove Colombo salpò verso le Americhe. Al monastero, potrete conoscere i suoi viaggi e i frati francescani che lo aiutarono. A pochi passi di distanza, sul molo, potrete vedere e salire a bordo delle repliche in scala reale delle tre navi della spedizione: la Santa Maria, la Pinta e la Nina. Potrete vedere da vicino le condizioni anguste in cui i marinai hanno vissuto per mesi in alto mare.

The only negative was the length of travel we did to get there and returning. The driver had to back up on himself both there and back to pick passengers up. Had we travelled straight there it would have taken half the time

Die Tour war super! Unsere Reiseführerin hat alles toll erklärt, und hat jede Frage sofort beantwortet. Wir hätten gerne noch mehr Zeit bei den Schiffen, und der Ausstellung verbracht. Möglicherweise lässt sich der Zeitplan ja anpassen. Meine Frau und ich waren erst verärgert ,weil eine Fahrt nach Huelva mit Weinprobe in der App angeboten wurde, aber vor Ort nicht mehr im Programm war! Aktuell sollte die App schon sein. Wir würden die Kolumbus - Tour weiter empfehlen. Wir waren begeistert.

Sehr schöne Tour mit vielen Informationen und auch etwas Zeit um die Karavellen alleine in Ruhe anzuschauen. Tolles, sehenswertes, gepflegtes Kloster. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Der Ausflug insgesamt war sehr schön und entspannt, allerdings war es schade, daß so viel Zeit für die Fahrt ( 4 von 7 h) verloren ging. Die Reiseleiterin war sehr freundlich und umsichtig, allerdings fand ich es schade, daß die Führung nicht in deutsch stattfand und wir stattdessen einen Audioguide bekommen haben. Es war für mich anhand der vielen spanischen Gäste prakrisch nachvollziehbar, allerdings waren mir die Infos des Audioguides zeitlich u. inhaltlich zu umfangreich.

Trip was good and knowledge was good although took a long time a different nationalities so rep needed to keep translating into different languages but overall the knowledge was good. The gardens and Monastery were stunning . The Christopher Columbus exhibition of the ships was very good and worth the visit . Could have done with a larger coach as I couldn’t sit by my partner as only 1 seat left on back and 1 at the front . Luckily a family moved up to let me sit down . Spoilt the trip though.

Die Eintrittspreise für das Kloster und die Schiffe waren sehr günstig, daher der gesamte Ausflug etwas teuer. Die besuchten Stationen waren sehr interessant. Bei der Besichtigung der 3 Boote wäre es schön gewesen noch 20-30 Minuten länger Zeit zu haben, da wir nicht alles in Ruhe anschauen konnten. Insgesamt aber empfehlenswerter Ausflug.

We really enjoyed the trip. The experience was very well organised and the schedule gave sufficient time to see see the monastery and to explore the boats at our own pace. Fran, our guide, was knowledgable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
