Båt, personal och utrustning var bra. Så här års, december, blåser det dock enormt mycket och med röd flagg på stranden (vilket är vanligt vintertid på Kap Verde) så var det dålig visibilitet och galet kallt både i luften och i vattnet (trots våtdräkter).

My friend, Sarah and I booked the trip via your Tui rep, Natalie, at Robinsons Capo Verde. On the day of the trip, Thursday, 11/12/25, red flags were flying at the resort and the sea was very rough with lots of white waves. Sarah and I decided the conditions were too rough to snorkle. No rep was available at the hotel, most disappointing. We got reception to email Natalie in the morning, advising we wanted to cancel. No reply was received. I rang TUI & the lady dropped. Actions unacceptable.

Abholung vom und Rücktour zum Hotel waren hervorragend. Das Schnorcheln an sich kann man sich sparen: Wenige Fische zu sehen, das haben wir anderswo schon viel besser erlebt. Die Fahrt im vollen Schlauchboot zu den Schnorchelplätzen war aufgrund der hohen Wellen teilweise extrem ruppig und auch das Schnorcheln war nur etwas für sehr geübte Schwimmer. Immerhin waren die beiden Guides sehr bemüht.

We saw turtles, we saw wrecks, we saw fish. Only downside and I feel this needs mentioning, the boat or should I say rib, getting off not a problem, but for the older generation and slightly less agile and flexible, getting on was hard work, 2 people cut their legs on our trip, at the start you have to haul your leg over, and during the trip climb your way up.a.small set of metal steps.

Der Guide (Ryan/Bryan) war super. In größerer Gruppe wäre es schwierig , da es doch nicht unbedingt was für absolute Anfänger wäre aber er hat sich Zeit genommen und Sicherheit ausgestrahlt .

The guys kindly picked us up from our hotel after they needed to rearrange our time. Our guide was called Brian and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was just lovely and apologised when the weather conditions weren't perfect (obviously he couldn't help that!), but we still saw a good range of fish and we really enjoyed it! The only thing that could improve would be a new minibus with some seat belts ??.

Die Tour war insgesamt sehr gut, einzig der alterbedingte Zustand der Ausrüstung war schade. Der Guide hat gute Stellen zum Schnorcheln ausgewählt und die Gruppe gut zusammengehalten. Der Driver war enorm höflich und zuvorkommend. Lediglich der Motor sollte beim Einsteigen und in der Nähe von Personen ausgeschaltet werden. Ein tolles Erlebnis.

Enjoyed seeing the ship wreck colourful fish and turtle. I didn’t like the little rubber dinghy I thought it was going to be a proper boat . The dinghy had nothing to hold on to and we were sat on the edge ( me and my 3 children) I had no room to get flippers on and felt rushed getting ready with the snorkel. The guy controlling the boat was rushing my daughter to get snorkel on and was pulling it on her face and managed to catch her nose piercing and there was blood everywhere.

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis,hatte das große Glück eine Meeresschildgröte zu sehen und sie ein Stück zu begleiten.Die Tour war zwar auf Englisch,mein Fahrer war aber so Nett und hat mir alles in Deutsch übersetzt. Da es für mich auch die 1.Schnorcheltour war,eine ganz klare Empfehlung hierfür.

Sea was too rough to snorkel by our hotel, so we were transported to Santa Maria in a car and then had to swim out to the boat. Boat took us quite a long way out of the bay to quiet waters. We saw turtles, loads of beautiful shoals of fish and marine life. The guide was very attentive to my 14year old son. We were well cared for, as this was our first experience of snorkelling. We were given life jackets and all equipement that we needed. Very personal service. Great value.

Het was een leuke snorkel tour, schildpadden gezien. Alleen erg jammer dat waar je snorkeld al het koraal vernietigd en afgestorven is. Wel geeft dit maar weer eens aan wat voor een impact vissen met netten op het ecosysteem heeft.

My children and partner absolutely loved this! Great boat ride out into the ocean with helpful guides. You do have to be a good swimmer and confident in the sea. I struggled and the guide allowed me to get back on the boat and wait, very understanding. We saw several turtles and many fish- the kids had a wonderful time.

Nous avons adoré notre expérience de plongée. Les guides étaient gentils et sécurisants. Nous avons vu des tortues des poissons trompette des poissons carnaval des poissons ballons et bien d autres. Ils nous emmènent dans des endroits magnifiques a explorer. Je conseille car expérience inoubliable avec cacao et son collègue qui étaient super.

Prima qua prijs/kwaliteit! We werden op tijd opgehaald, uitleg was duidelijk en het snorkelen was leuk! De gidsen nemen de tijd en moeite om er een leuke ervaring van te maken. Wij zijn niet eerder terug gegaan totdat we schildpadden hebben gezien. Leuke activiteit dus

Bei der Tour hatte ich andere Erwartungen. Ich war der Meinung, eine einfache Schnorcheltour zu machen. Es ging aber mit einem Motorschlauchboot, Flossen, Neoprenanzug und Schwimmweste auf Meer. Das Bootfahrten bei Wellengang und Schnorcheln mit starken Strömungen gestaltete sich äußerst schwierig. Ich denke auch nicht, dass wir 40 min im Wasser waren. Fische haben wir leider auch nicht viele gesehen. Das Personal war aber super nett und hat sich viel Mühe gegeben.

Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht. Wir wurden mit einem Schlauchboot sitzend auf dem Rand ohne Sicherung zum Spot gefahren. Dort ging es ins Wasser durch die raue See für einige zu Anstrengend, diese mussten das Schnorcheln absprechen. Wir haben 2 Schildkröten gesehen und einige Fische aber nicht mit dem rotem Meer zu vergleichen (Dafür kann der Veranstalter nichts). In Ägypten bekommt man für einen Drittel des Preise eine wesentlich bessere Dienstleistung. Deshalb nicht Empfehlenswert

Die Abholung ist an der Tauchschule am Strand. Von da ging’s nach Santa Maria. Einweisung und Ausrüstung erhalten. Vom Hafen aus, ging’s raus aufs Meer. Der Guide hat immer auf uns geschaut und uns gesagt, wenn eine Schildkröte in Sicht war. Von Vorteil ist, wenn man eine Wasserschutzhülle fürs Handy hat. Dann kann man tolle Bilder unter Wasser machen. Bei uns war schon heftiger Seegang, sodass das Schnorcheln recht anstrengend war. Da hat man natürlich keinen Einfluss drauf. Auf jeden Fall top.

Top gemacht Sicherheit Ausrüstung Personal Boot ?? Alles gepasst, natürlich was man zu sehen bekommt ist nie zu garantieren,wir haben tolle Fische und zwei Schildkröten gesehen. War sogar eine deutsche Begleiterin dabei. Für das Geld nur zu empfehlen!!!!!!!

It was overcrowded 13 of us on a rib that should have had 8 at the most. The sea was very choppy, ok getting into the sea, just about ok in the sea, but tide was high, visibilty was murky. Getting out was very difficult, with a small ladder next to the prop which was still turning ! Then a high speed run back in rough seas. Other people were holding on to ropes just to stay upright and looking distressed. I've snorkelled from boats many times - not again in Sal!

Wir wurden sehr pünktlich abgeholt. Alles war sehr gut organisiert. Die Stimmung war total entspannt. Die Ausrüstung war auch soweit ganz gut. Beim schnorcheln selbst lief auch alles sehr gut ab. Eddy hat uns immer wieder zu sich gerufen, wenn es etwas interessantes zu sehen gab. Wir haben auch Schildkröten gesehen. War alles gut.

The snorkeling experience was very well organised. We were given a thorough safety briefing, as we were snorkeling form a boat in open water. The staff were attentive and kept a close eye on the group from start to finish. They were also excellent at seeking out the turtles we had hoped to see. We had a less confident swimmer in our party and she was closely supervised and because of this felt safer and therefore more relaxed to enjoy the experience. I'd give 15 out of 10. Thank you TUI.

Amazing. Well looked after and guided. We saw turtles, barracuda, needle fish, puffer fish, moray eel and of course good old clown fish. Visibility was excellent and the sea was calm. 10 out of 10. Thank you.

Otroligt bra upplevelse! Guiderna var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma. Under snorklingen såg man massor av fina fiskar och sköldpaddor. Guiden var noga med att hålla gruppen samlad vilket kändes tryggt. Rekommenderar verkligen denna tur, en upplevelse man sent kommer glömma :)

Die Agentur und die 2 Guides waren sehr sehr gut! Das Rief eine riesen Enttäuschung! Aber wahrscheinlich habe ich zu viel erwartet nach Robinson Maldives und Robinson Soma Bay. Dafür war der Robinson Cabo Verde ein Traum! Auch der Strand und das warme Meer haben mich total begeistert! Ich komme wieder!

Er werd geen vraag gesteld dus ook geen rekening gehouden met mensen die dit nog nooit gedaan hebben. De uitleg vooraf was heel algemeen: er werd bijvoorbeeld uitgelegd hoe je je masker moest inwrijven en afspoelen....alleen... je hangt meer dan 1m boven het water en je moet je bril afspoelen in het water! ...er had een bak met zeewater op de zodiac moeten staan. Bovendien, was de zee veel te hevig en had de uitstap gecancelled moeten worden. De helft van de boot is heel ziek geworden.

Snorkelen was een mooie ervaring. leatherback schildpadden kunnen zien! Vriendelijke begeleiders. - van Meliá resort naar Santa Maria gebracht en vanaf de pier op een ribboot naar locatie gevaren. - ivm stevige wind geen perfect snorkel weer dus enigszins troebel water en golven. Dochter van 6 vond de golven te hoog en hier en daar wat zeeziekte. - Vanaf snorkel locatie bij het strand gebracht (5m zwemmen dus!). Al met al bijzonder, met harde wind mogelijk niet voor iedereen geschikt

I felt the whole experience was too hurried also when you saw some fish the group leader was already heading in another direction and you didn’t get to appreciate the fish you saw. The group leader didn’t wait until the group had all caught up before he moved on. Apparently there had been sightings of yellow fin sharks sea turtles etc that morning but we knew nothing about it. The guide just asked what we saw at the end. No guidance on how to use the flippers either. Felt disappointed overall

Aus dem Angebot ging für mich nicht klar heraus, das es zwingend mit einer Bootstour verbunden ist. Da ich sehr Seekrank bin, wäre das eine sehr hilfreiche Info gewesen! Da ich leider sehr darunter zu kämpfen hatte und so die Rücktour überhaupt nicht genießen konnte.

Hele leuke gidsen, heel duidelijk en aardig! We hebben mooie vissen gezien en zelfs schildpadden. Klein puntje: misschien de vrijheid om even het snorkelen onder water te proberen. Dus de vraag wie er iets wilt weten over onder water en ademhaling.

Wetsuits, masks and snorkels were available to everyone - if you have your own items they could be used. Safety briefings were given before going out to the boat. Plenty time was given to enjoy the snorkelling and the guides actively looked for turtles for us to view - we saw 3 on our trip. The currents are very strong and we were reminded to stay close to the guides and boats. Please note there is a 10 min walk to the initial boat and footwear is advisable.

Do not take valuables with you. Everything gets left behind in open storage racks, nothing goes on the boat with you. The disclaimer that we had to sign was an interest read; particularly the part that stated even if the company was negligent we still couldn’t claim or hold them responsible. The snorkelling part is about 40 minutes. We saw lots of fish and a couple of turtles. Water was clear and rich with life. Really pleased we did it.

The tour guides were wonderful and really helpful! They explained everything to us all before hand, the group was a really good size! And we got to see turtles and all the different fish and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend!

Naturen går inte att jämföra med snorkling i Röda havet men en liten trevlig tur ut med ribb båt och ca 45 minuters snorkling med guide. Vi såg fina fiskar och sköldpaddor.

1ste maal snorkelen in volle zee. Te weinig uitleg op voorhand van het snorkelmateriaal. Te weinig voorbereiding. Ha´ndiger zou zijn dat deze techniek op voorhand eens wordt getoond en door iedereen wordt meegedaan. Voor mij wel goede opvolging individueel omdat het mijn eerste X was en ik hierdoor wat meer begeleiding nodig had. Hierdoor was er wel minder overzicht in het water en dit gaf een o´nveilig gevoel. De groep was te groot. Wel handig was de reddingsboei als herkenningspunt.

Det var godt vi fik set havskildpadder, men der var meget store bølger, så vi fik ikke set skibsvrag som de ellers havde sagt. Desværre undlod de at fortælle hvorfor og at vi manglede noget. Vi blev også meget søsyge grundet de meget store bølger og det var først efter noget tid at de kom med råd til det.

Bra var att det fanns en del fiskar, ett par sköldpaddor och ett par hajar att kolla på. Servicen var också bra. Mindre bra var att vi inte blev upphämtade i receptionen, trots att det stod så på biljetten (vi bodde på TUI Blue Cabo Verde). Man ska heller inte ha för stora förväntningar på snorklingen, och ska absolut inte jämföra med t.ex. Röda havet, Stora barriärrevet eller Seychellerna, som samtliga är avsevärt bättre. Dock rekommenderar jag ändå denna tur, som en trevlig snorklingstur.

We were apprehensive about this trip after seeing another review but our fears were unfounded, other than a bit of a late start (Cabo Verde time!) it was wonderful. We were well looked after from start to finish, there were no safety concerns for us at all, Ronny & Zoe were brilliant and really wanted us to get the best out of it. We saw loads of fish, turtles and the shipwreck. We wore life jackets throughout as the current was very strong and we quickly learnt to go with the flow! FABULOUS!

Abholpunkt war leider nicht unser Hotel, so mussten wir noch ein Stück laufen, um zum nächsten Abholpunkt zu gelangen. Der Service war insgesamt gut, das Equipment einsatzbereit, wenn auch schon gut abgenutzt. Das Schnorchel-Erlebnis hat sich leider in Grenzen gehalten. Ich glaube der Spot ist einfach nicht gut geeignet. Man sieht viel grau in grau, ein paar bunte Fische waren sichtbar.

Het was mijn 1e keer dat ik ging snorkelen en het was heel mooi. Ophalen aan het hotel, uitleg over de veiligheid, en het snorkelen zelf duurde ongeveer een uur . Mooie gekleurde vissen gezien , schildpadden gezien , scheepswrak we hebben echt genoten !

De verzamelplaats Melia Dunas Beach resort is niet goed omdat daar niemand je komt ophalen ! Je moet zelf naar de diving club om daar je te melden ! Waren dus 30 min te laat en de auto richting Santa Maria was al weg . Hebben daar 20 min moeten wachten voordat we een lift van de diving club kregen naar Santa Maria. TUI weigert dit aan te passen waardoor al verschillende personen hier last van hebben gehad. Dan gingen we met windkracht 6 de zee op waarbij de golven zo hoog waren dat 2 van de 7 personen direct zeeziek waren. Advies : ga boven windkracht 4 niet de zee op om te snorkelen. Bij windkracht 6 is het water zo troebel dat je met snorkelen niet veel ziet. Veiligheid was perfect van diving club en gastvrijheid ook .

Overall we didn’t feel safe for the following reasons; 1) safety talk before setting off should have been clearer 2) skipper didn’t follow basic safety guidelines, he left the helm unattended with the engine running, he didn’t keep eyes on when snorkellers were in the water, instead chatting to people on nearby boats, 3) boat was in poor repair 4) safety ropes around the sides of the boat were frayed, one snapped when we were instructed to hold onto it 5) we were told to hang onto the side of the boat down wind which resulted in us being pulled under the boat exacerbated when the rope snapped 6) other boat users drove very close to the snorkelling area at speed 7) instruction given was unclear about where snorkellers were expected to be

Op mijn ticket stond dat ik naar hotel dumas ( een flink eind lopen) moest om opgehaald te worden. Na een half uur wachten en ter vergeefs informeren bij tui medewerkers bleek dat het verzamelpunt bij de duikschool 20 meter bij mijn hotel vandaan was. Dus rennen en nog net op tijd voor vertrek. Slechte start dus! Daarna werd het leuk!
