Cosa aspettarsi
Un'avventura subacquea in due ambienti molto diversi. Questo tour di mezza giornata si avventura nel cuore della giungla dello Yucatan e nella barriera corallina dei Caraibi per vivere esperienze contrastanti. Nuoterete nell'ambiente mistico di un cenote e farete snorkeling con le tartarughe in una baia protetta.Partite dall'entroterra per raggiungere un cenote sacro. Qui potrete nuotare in uno dei cenotes più belli della regione. Questa piscina sotterranea si apre per rivelare una caverna di stalattiti e stalagmiti, dove si può nuotare in acqua fresca. È facile capire perché queste cattedrali naturali erano così venerate dagli antichi Maya.Ci recheremo poi alla Baia di Akumal per avvistare le tartarughe vicino alla barriera corallina protetta. Questa baia è abitata da tre specie: verde, embricata e testa di falco. Sarete affiancati da una guida esperta e da un piccolo gruppo di appassionati di snorkeling (massimo 16 persone), in modo da poter sfruttare al meglio questa esperienza. Avrete anche il tempo di esplorare ulteriormente la barriera corallina, ammirando i pesci e i coralli color arcobaleno, prima di tornare in hotel nel primo pomeriggio.

Swimming with turtles was not what is advertised. It’s far too busy, everyone bumping into each other. They say you can buy the “pics and video” they take. Ours were absolutely rubbish for the turtle one, lots of pics of peoples backsides, feet and underwater seaweed, the odd one of turtles. Take your own underwater /waterproof camera. However the trip to cenote was brilliant. I feel we paid a lot of money and only the cenote part of the trip was worth it. Not happy

Excursion pour voir des tortues alors que nous n’avons rien vus ! L’eau était trop trouble dû aux sargasses et au trop grand nombres de touristes dans l’eau. Piège à touristes ! J’ai demandé le remboursement .

I know you can't always see hundreds of turtles, but we only saw 3! So £100 almost to see 3 turtles was disappointing. However, that's obviously not Tui's fault.

The guide Leah was amazing and very knowledgeable. I was also pleased that the swimming with turtles included a life jacket as I'm not a strong swimmer. Great experience but it's quite pricey for a short time with the turtles

The only thing I didnt love was the commute. We had selected Akumal because of its close proximity but then we had to drive to Tulum to collect other passengers. So we ended up being in the van for nearly 2 hours before we got going. Akumal is only 25/30 mins from our hotel so this seemed excessive. Everything else was fantastic

From the start to finish, our guide Ceddy made the whole experience so safe and enjoyable. We had a 4 year old in our party and Ceddy helped look after her the whole time and made sure she got to see the turtles as well giving us time to see them ourselves.

The water was too murky to see the turtles well and there were too many people fighting to get a look in the cenote visit saved the day it was fab The guide seemed to focus on one family and ignored the rest of us for the most part they got to gotta second cenote on site we were not aware of this when questioned she said it was not available on our tour ?? Bus was a bit if a wreck very uncomfortable journey did not appear to have much suspension

the cenoteswere absolutely stunning, and our guide was amazing—friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The cenote experience was definitely the highlight of the day, however swim With turtles was much more physically demanding than expected and not suitable for everyone, but there is plenty people around to help you when struggle with swimming and take you to shore if you are tired.

No one says how physical this experience is. The first booked date was cancelled due to weather and when we went the water was extremely murky and not as advertised, lovely and clear. Your literature states we have lockers, however leaving bags on a minibus is not ‘lockers’ and having $500 peso stolen from purse is not this either. Sea very choppy and swim out was too far and tiring

Pick up service was odd, stopped at random lay-by beside road to pick up packages, stopped at random gas station to pick up guide, no introduction. They were told about allergies at start of tour but not able to cator for them therefore partner was unable to eat the food all day. At end there was a given expectation of tipping as the guide sent round a bag for people to put money in, effectively forcing a tip. Turtle experience over crowded tourist trap. Would not recommend this tour at all.

Nice small mixed group of people information given from guide good but swimming with turtles too much seaweed poor visibility and amount of people at site spoilt experience for me. Cenotes were better and nice experience mini bus was clean and drop off & pickup was good

Alex our guide was fantastic and made the trip so much more enjoyable. He clearly loves his job and sharing his knowledge with others. The snack was substantial and the water provided was lovely and cold. We would definitely do this trip again when we return to Mexico.

Tranfer time supposed to be 30/45mins but was 2 hours with a tour of riviera maya. Supposed to be half day tour but got back to the hotel 14.50pm not value for money not as described by the reps at hotel not worth it

Sortie très agréable, j'ai apprécié que l'on nous fournisse une petite collation vers 10h00 et le fait d'avoir de l'eau à volonté. La guide était sympa et la sortie tortue était bien, dommage que l'eau était un peu trouble mais on a pu voir des tortues et la visite des deux cénotes étaient bien. Très agréable excursion.

My partner is not a strong swimmer, so she was extremely nervous of going into the water, the guides where amazing gave her a rung to hold onto and towed her pointing out the turtles and stingrays. Oto was extremely knowledgeable and has done some great videos of the day. After the turtle swim we where given a snack bag of pastries and biscuits with a drink of water food was lovely then we went to denote which is about 25 minutes away. Where after a tour and some photos we got free time. 10/10

The guide was fantastic but we were told you did not have to be a strong swimmer but trust me you do it was very hard going but lovely to see the turtles if it had not have been for the guide letting me hold the rubber ring and helping me I could not have done it

Pick up was late, no info was given about tour and travel from guide at start of trip. Turtles were amazing but there were several other groups in the water so it felt crowded at times. Didn’t like the transfer immediately after to the Cenotes, of which there were two, in a wet swimming costume - 20 minutes in a car was cold and uncomfortable. Would have preferred a cheaper, turtles only option.

The driver and guide was lovely and professional, they kept things running smoothly. My only issue was the turtle swimming part of the trip. It was really busy with the amount of people in the water. I actually felt sorry for the turtles. The sea grass looked like it was dead or dying. It just left a bad taste.

We felt that the turtle experience was rushed once we entered the water. Group was not kept together well as people went off on there own. Even though there were calls made that turtles were were neither myself or my wife seen anything at all. Not an experience I would recommend to others. Spoke to rep back at hotel who kindly got us a partial refund

Excursions tres chère pour ce que c’est 40 min de nage pour voir des tortues qu'on ne voit pas par contre l'intitulé devrait être a revoir visite de 2 cenote et des sargasses a la plage. Une excursion ou on peut 3 h au démarrage pour récupérer les personnes a chaque hotel beaucoup trop de bus pour ce que c’est.et toujours en 2 langues pour une Excursions francophones on repasse. Très déçu des excursions pour le prix payer chez vous.

Would be much better experiences if this if you look around and if you are like us wanting this for the turtle experience and snorkeling I would look elsewhere

Met our objectives of: seeing turtles in the wild and swimming in a cenote. Enjoyed the guides and meeting guests from other hotels. We were unaware that the guide would take pictures and film for 50 us dollars: we didn't have enough money or a credit card on us: please inform other guests ! Our bus ride took 90 mins from pickup, which is ok for x2 45 mins swims: Others guest had been on the bus for 90 mins before us , hence 3hr travelling there and 3 hour return! We would not travel 6hrs!

The cenotes were brilliant, the turtle swim was amazing the only downside for me was there was far to many groups in the sea at once i think of the staggered the groups better then you'd be able to enjoy the turtles much more without having to fight round the masses of people all trying to see them

Out tour guide Rudolf was the best, he looked after us so well and made sure that we were all ok, comfortable and cared for. He was knowledgeable and took time to tell us stories and facts about what we had seen and the Mexican people and history. The snack and water were a nice touch.

Tout était vraiment bien. la Guide Emilie était vraiemnt au Top et le chauffeur très courtois et pile à l'heure. nos étions une famille de 5 personnes et c'est un peu cher pour 5. le petit snacking aurait pu être un peu plus copieux . je recommande sans hésitation mais on peut toujours s'améliorer.

It was a very good trip. Obviously can’t guarantee seeing turtles as its nature. We saw a couple of turtles plus a few other fish etc. only thing that was a bit deceiving was it was advertised as half a day trip, we took the trip from planet Hollywood hotel and wasn’t made aware that it was over 70 miles away. All told it was nearly 10 hours with travelling.

We really enjoyed the trip the cenote was amazing and it was a great experience swimming with turtles although a bit busy in the sea, Rudolpho and Arthur the driver were great, Rudolpho was very informative and friendly making our trip very enjoyable we would recommend it

Amazing trip with Otto. Otto went above and beyond with information and ensuring everyone got the best experience. My wife had issues with her snorkeling mask to which Otto assisted her with swimming and still experiencing the full excursion. It was amazing seeing sea turtles and sting rays in their natural habitat. Would recommend

Nico our guide was absolutely fantastic super friendly from the moment we were picked up, super knowledgeable at the cenote and made the experience exciting and fun for the kids too. Once we reached akumal again had a real eye for finding the turtles and pointing them out to the group we were lucky enough to see 7 on our trip as well as sting rays, parrot fish and many other beautiful fish. The whole experience was fantastic highly recommend.

From start guide greeted with a very friendly attitude very knowledgeable guide his English was brilliant kept us informed at all points. it was a nice touch to be given a snack & water this was unexpected but very welcome. Cenotes were clear & beautiful the masks, snorkels & life jackets provided. Turtle experience great have small life rings to assist young children saw several turtles even though guide said visibility was not as good as usual but saw plenty of turtles :)

Un guide au top qui maitrisait son sujet. Pleins d'infos intéressantes. Seul bémol, mais c'est très personnel, je trouvais qu'il y avait pas mal de monde, et j'avais l'impression d'embêter les tortues, car on est vraiment dans leur milieu naturel. J'avais l'impression de participer à la destruction de leur environnement, même si le guide nous a assuré que tout était mis en œuvre pour les préserver

A good trip overall from 9am till ai returned about 2pm, the cenotes were exceptional, you MUST bring water shoes as the rocks are very sharp. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable with half our trip English and the others Italian. The sea turtles was a disappointment though there were so many groups and everyone being told to keep your feet up to stop silt disturbance blocking the view but that was not the case. Spotted two turtles and a lobster so not a total flop.

It was great , bit of better refreshment would have been good . Can of Coke /pepsi , maybe a sandwich . Go mad and offer a beer at the end

Ich fand ich den Ausflug sehr enttäuschend. Das Wasser war sehr trüb, man sah nicht viel und man war ständig beschäftigt den nötigen Abstand zu den Schildkröten zu halten. Vom Bus bis zum Strand lief man nur mit Badesachen bekleidet ein paar Minuten. Otto der Guide war lustig, freundlich und hat sehr viel über die Schildköten erzählt. Die Cenote war interessant aber von Dschungel habe ich nichts gesehen.

Sortie en deux parties, la visite et la baignade dans la Cenotte au top, par compte la baignade avec les tortues « c’est l’usine à touristes » au détriment de la tranquillité des tortues.
