Kim, out guide was very knowledgeable about the island. We all thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this tour, my elderly mother in law struggled with the amount of steep steps at Oia though which could have been explained on booking. We had a fantastic day though and would recommend this to anyone to do.

We both really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Kim and she was excellent. Extremely informative and helpful, she also gave us a tip on a great place to see the sunset. We took her advice and had some fantastic food and drink with lovely staff and fantastic view of the sunset.

The tour was overal really good, nice selection of things to do. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, Pyrgos and all the places we visited but I was a bit disappointed with the timing for some of these. In Pyrgos it would have been nicer to have extra 20 minutes, once we got up the stairs and came back there was no time to use the toilet without rushing. And the most disappointing was the timing around Oia. Sunset at 19:03 and be in the bus at 19:15?? Impossible if in the city.We were not pleased

Die Tour war gut organisiert. Die Weinprobe bestand aus drei Weinen und jeweils ein Fingerbreit gefüllt. Insgesamt ergab das noch nicht mal ein Glas. Das war ehrlich gesagt schade. Aber ansonsten hat die Tour Spaß gemacht.

Coach pick up on time and a short journey to the port to get on the boat. The boat crew were so lovely and very imformative about the sailing route and the areas we were sailing through. The boat stops for a swim in the hot springs well worth a jump of the boat ?? The 3 course meal at the restaurant (managed to gwt a seafront table) was very nice and came with wine too. And what a better way to see the Sunset than on the water - it was stunning ! Well worth the money .

Didn’t enjoy the tour around the island to collect guests from other hotels prior to the start of the tour and the same at the conclusion of the tour. We were first on and last off the coach making a 6 hour trip last over 7 1/2 hours.

We wasn't told that it was a ghost village for first stop. There was literally nothing too see apart from a view up a hill. Lots of walking involved. 140 steps. My daughter is pregnant and if shes have known about the walking involved we wouldn't have booked. Secondxstoo again we were told there was historic ruins. There was a coffee shop and a view. Again all up hill. Final stop was horrendous. No sunset at it was cloudy and we had to queue to take photos. Again the walking uphill was awful

Our tour guide Kim was full of knowledge about the island and so hosted the whole day exceptionally well. There was a really good balance of following and having time to yourself if you wished. Great value considering we had wine tasting session as well. Definitely recommend.

The bus was 20 minutes late, we were first on? Guide Maggie was informative. Wine tasting was good, but not a stunning location. Mesa Gonia was a non entity. Pyrgos was good and Oia was lovely. When we got to Oia, we were told that after sunset we had to be back on the bus within 15 minutes. We were advised of a place to go to see the sunset, a cocktail bar by the car park. The sunset could have been anywhere. It was all about getting out of Oia fast not about the sunset! That was disappointing.

De wijnproeverij was leuk. De wandelingen door de stadjes vielen behoorlijk tegen. De reisleidster liep veel te snel waardoor er nauwelijks gelegenheid was tot foto’s maken. Zij was al halverwege haar praatje als er nog mensen moesten aansluiten. In het tweede stadje liep zij een trap op zonder zich te bekommeren over mensen die beneden bleven. De tijd voor Oia (het hoogtepunt) was veel te kort. De terugreis in het kleine busje naa Kamari voelde we ons erg onveilig bij door rijstijl chauffeur.

Wederom de gids die tegenviel, de trip was engelstalig aangekondigd , alle uitleg in het Engels,OK. Maar met zoveel Vlamingen op de bus zou praktische info toch in het Nederlands mogen , dat is een kleine moeite en zoveel aangenamer voor mensen die niet goed Engels verstaan.De gids is een vlaming. Ook dreigende taal als iemand te laat terug op de bus zou aankomen ( letterlijk ‘ik wordt zeer On happy) Ook hier weer de gejaagdheid, zie vorig verslag.Ook te duur voor wat het uiteindelijk was.

Really enjoyed this excursion. The wine tasting was great and we don't even drink wine but we both enjoyed it. The overall experience we found very informative and we learnt a lot about the island and culture. Maggie was great and the guy who drove the bus too :)

We absolutely loved this tour. The guide Maggie was excellent and really informative and made sure we all had a really good experience. The tour was well organised. The wine tasting was fun and of course the trip to Oia was amazing and we had plenty of time to explore and see the sunset before being dropped back off at our hotel in time for dinner. This trip gave us a chance to see more of the island and Maggie gave us some more history of Santorini.

The “Simply Santorini” Tour was fantastic. So interesting. We loved all of it, wine tasting, to visiting Mesagonia, Pyrgos and Oia. I don’t really like tours but this was super. As for the tour guide Maggie she was brilliant. She was so informative, funny, knowledgeable and friendly. We really did enjoy the tour. Well done TUI.

Kim our guide was excellent, really informative and organised. Giving lots of interesting information at each point and made sure everyone was included, as we had a lady with a walking stick, Kim made sure we waited for her each time. The castle climb was fun and great views. Wine tasting was good. My husband doesn’t like wine but still took part. The dessert wine was delicious. Oia is a lovely pretty place with some boutiques. The sunset topped it all off. Big thanks to Kim and the driver.

Good trip. Plenty of free time in oia. Too much really unless you had a meal there. The wine was nice but note it wasn’t a vineyard just a distribution point. A good afternoon and evening out. Plenty of stunning views and we felt we saw the north of Santorini. Especially after climbing the steps up to the castle.

Great recommendation of the restaurant Four Winds. Oia absolutely packed. A little bit rushed again to wander through the streets , eat and watch the sunset. Sunset was on over rated but quite nice but we had to rush back to the coach and had to watch from a car park. Enjoyed the villages and listening to Kim talking about the island

Tour delayed by 30 mins, no explanation given, temporary bus to first location had no air conditioning, very oppressive,, felt nauseous and trip rushed trying to make the time up. First activity was the wine making which we did not enjoy due to feeling sick after the very hot journey. Expected better from a Tui trip

Big coach with good air con was nice, enjoyed seeing and hearing some of the islands history, exploring some of the old streets was good, liked there were options if you didn’t feel up to a climb up a hill, you could instead explore the shops and cafes in the village , the sunset in oia was the best , took the tour guide advice and got a prime spot in one of the tavernas overlooking the sunset, with cocktails and great food , highly recommend!

De wijnproeverij is niet wat ik er van verwacht had. Ik had graag meer gezien/ervaren over bv het maken van de wijn etc. Dit was alleen een commercieel verkooppraatje om wijn en andere producten te verkopen. De gids mag een wat 'persoonlijker' verhaal vertellen; de gegeven informatie kwam erg 'voorgelezen' over, in eigen woorden vertellen komt veel beter over en is interessanter om naar te luisteren. De drukte in Oia benauwde ons heel erg, maar daar kunnen jullie ook niets aan doen.

I'm not sure why the tour is so expensive as we only went into a winery, the rest of the trip was looking around areas which didn't require entry fees? The guide was excellent and we weren't rushed which was good.

Bus was over 30 minutes late collecting us at the start of the tour. This made some parts of the tour feel rushed. Wine tasting experience good. Guide Kim was knowledgable however the sunset Oia experience felt rushed as we were expected back on the bus by 8.25pm when sunset was not until 8.12pm. This meant we could not watch the sunset from the point in Oia we would have wanted.

Our guide was amazing. Really knowledgeable and welcoming. She made the excursion interesting, providing information about the villages we visited along with history of the island throughout our coach journey. She took the time to chat to us and answered all our questions. She offered suggestions of other things to do on the island and told us what to avoid. She really helped us plan our holiday to make sure we get the best of Santorini.

The wine tasting felt a little like an afterthought. It was too early in the trip and only 3 wines were offered rather than the usual 5 we have experienced before. The guide was really informative and provided a lot of relevant information but there was no history to the vineyard itself or any tips on how to taste the wine properly. Later we passed Santo Wines and the guide remarked that this was the best vineyard in the area - so why wasn’t there wine tasting held there? Left us a bit cold.

The ‘tour’ was more time on the coach than it was seeing the island. The ‘ wine tasting’ was just an excuse to try and sell you goods and wine from the winery . Didn’t see much of the island at all. Very disappointing.

Neem voldoende drinken mee en doe goede schoenen aan! De gids vertelde veel over de geschiedenis van het eiland, was heel interessant! Oia was mooi maar bizar druk en heel erg duur. Wij zijn naar beneden gelopen en daar genoten van de spectaculaire zonsondergang!

Arrived @ pickup point 15 mins early. A bus came - seemed to drop off people from airport - then drove off. 40 mins later we were worried. Tried to find contact details on app/email. Same bus finally arrived back. Guide said they dropped airport people off first the went round picking up people for the trip. If she had said that when the bus 1st came it would have been less stressful. No room left to describe rest of trip which was good but felt had to put complaint across.

Our tour guide on the day was wonderful. She was friendly and very informative and clearly loves the island of Santorini! This showed in her knowledge and passion as she talked about the island and its history as we travelled around the island on the bus. When we stopped at each point of interest, again she was very knowledgeable and gave us tips and recommendations of places for the best views and of places to eat and drink. We were not disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect!

The guide and tour stops were great - Kim the guide is helpful and very engaging. The tour was let down by TUI putting cost before customers which involved swapping to a second bus at the wine tasting session That would have been ok but the second bus has no effective air conditioning working and the bus was packed with very hot people. At £53 per head and 50 people on the tour and well functioning bus should be a prerequisite.

The villages/towns visited were very interesting. The wine tasting didn’t, in our opinion, add anything to the day.

Die Weinverkostung war viel zu früh am Tag und leider auch nicht so schön von der Atmosphäre. Unser Guide Iannis war toll! Er hat Alles super erklärt und hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, immer Alle im Blick gehabt und Alles mehrfach wiederholt, sodass man Alles gut verstanden hat. Seine Restaurantempfehlung in Oia war gut! Insgesamt wirklich ein toller Ausflug, der vom Guide lebt!

It was a really good trip seeing a lot of Santorini was lots of walking up steps which in the heat was a bit hard to do But on the second bit when it was 140 steps we did stay down and had some lunch and drinks didn’t want to do 140 in the heat but really enjoyed trip

We had a fantastic time staff were very friendly and very helpful. Food was very good and so much to choose from , room was clean an and a lovely touch of complementary wine and water in the fridge for when we arrived. The Entertainment was very good Rebecca who run the Entertainment was lovely and fun aswell .

A very informative tour. The guide new her history of the Island and the tour took us to some of the best parts of the bottom of the Island.

Great afternoon/evening. Lots of time to explore the different locations and also relax with a drink before moving on to the next. Oia was so beautiful, definite highlight of our holiday.

Er werdt veel te veel gedaan in te korte tijd daardoor hebben we maar nauwelijks kunnen genieten van het mooie plaatsje waar we als laatste kwamen. Snel eten want anders vertrok de bus weer . Te veel plaatsen gezien en te veel gelopen in korte tijd . Wijn proeverij was rond uit slecht. Stonden hapjes op tafel maar werdt niet verteld wat je het beste bij de wijn kon eten . Ook geen goeie uitleg over de wijn. Was rommelig . Dit zou ik niemand aan raden. Reisleiding was prima . Vriendelijk ook.

The guide was brilliant, so knowledgeable and really engaging. I have to be honest, the driver let this down, he was half an hour late and then drove like we’d robbed a bank, so many of us in the coach felt sick, perhaps arrive on time and remove the pressure to drive like a lunatic. The wine tasting is also a bit pointless, barely a mouthful of wine. The tour guide however won me over on those criticisms, she was just brilliant and the locations you visit were pretty good.
