The volcanic isles of the caldera are a must-see when in Santorini. On this full-day cruise, you'll climb aboard a wooden sailboat and glide to Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni and Thirassia – the three volcanic islets that breach from the water – and continue along the edge of the caldera.First up is Nea Kameni. Hike up to its crater, striding over solidified lava fields to see its steamy fumes. Take in the views over the harsh, moon-like landscapes and Santorini in the distance. Next, you'll cruise to the thermal springs of Palea Kameni, where you'll get the chance to swim in the mineral-rich waters, which can reach temperatures of 35 °C. There's also an eminently Instagrammable Orthodox chapel by the water's edge.Head onshore to explore Thirassia and you can take a walk around its active crater, or spend some time in the hilltop village of Manolas – the views are knockout. Then, it's back on the boat to cruise along the coast, returning to Athinios port.

Hele leuke tour. We werden rond 9 uur opgehaald door een bus en we stapten rond 9:45 de boot op. We vaarden eerst naar Nea Kameni, waar we de vulkaan beklommen. Prachtig om te zien. Neem wel dichte schoenen mee want er liggen veel losliggende stenen en het is best een klim. Daarna gezwommen in de hotsprings. Tip hiervoor: geen lichtkleurige zwemkleding mee, deze kan verkleuren! Daarna bij Thirassia nog lekker gechillt. Enorm genoten! Rond 16:00 waren we weer terug op de haven.

Overvolle boten. Tijdschema te krap bij ons doordat er na 45 minuten wachten er nog 2 !!!!! mensen bij kwamen. Dus bijna rennen vulkaan op en weer terug want we moesten wel op tijd terug zijn voor de volgende lading. Ik vind het TUI onwaardig. Hebben zelfs getwijfeld of we wel op de boot zouden stappen. Je betaalt wel en om dit terug te krijgen. Maar bel me gerust

Hele leuke gids, vloeiend in Spaans, Engels en Duits, wat heel fijn was, veel kennis van zaken, attend en vrolijk, Het enige minpuntje van de reis was de buschaufeur op de terugweg, die was onaardig, maakte ruzie met mensen (niet met ons) en liet ons zomaar ergens achter in Kamari zonder dat we wisten waar we waren

. Mooie boottocht. Gids vertelde veel meertalig. Vulkaaneiland fysiek uitstapje. Warm waterbron ervaring. Rommelige organisatie door veelheid bussen/ mensen.

Reis werd goed begeleid, er waren veel groepen door elkaar met reisleiding op de vulkaan Verder was t een leuke trip ook naar andere hoogtepunten.

Vulkaan bezoeken was de moeite waard. Zwemmen was niet zonder risico’s. Lunch stop op eiland was te lang. Had deze tijd liever op de vulkaan doorgebracht. Gids wist veel maar sprak zeer gebrekkig Engels. Was de moeite waard, maar voelde ook als een commerciële excursie.

Excellent
Mooie boottocht, het was wel wat vol op de boot. Gids Spiros was goed, hij vertelde interessante verhalen. Het kratereiland was een bijzondere ervaring, zeer de moeite waard. Het zwemmen was leuk en op het 'laatste' eiland hebben we lekker geluncht. Al met al zeker een aanrader.

Het was een mooie boottocht met leuke stops. De gids wist veel te vertellen. De klim op vulkaaneiland naar boven is een klim maar de moeite waard om te doen. Het zwemmen in de warmtebronnen is een ervaring op zich. En dan nog het leuke eiland met lekkere restaurantjes bezocht. Het was een hele leuke dag.

De bezochte eilanden waren leuk, het zwemmen was fantastisch, wij hadden alleen geen gids wegens ziekte. Onze kapitein vertelde wel wat, maar dat was slecht te verstaan.

Aanbeveling, goede boot prima service opgehaald en weggebracht. Vulkaan eiland / goede gids heerlijk gezwommen in hot springs. En heerlijk varen langs de klifs van Fira / Santorini oia
