Discovered as recently as 2007, the Rio Secreto underground river is now one of Yucatan's top natural attractions. Wade through its pristine waters, admiring stunning stalactites and stalagmites. The visit lasts about 90 minutes and you'll cap it off with a xtabentun liqueur. The Plus option features cycling and rappel and the Privilege has access to the nature reserve.

We've been before and it was so good, we wanted to go again and it was just as good. We did the abseiling, ziplining, cycling and the supreme tour of the cave (apparently there are different routes) Our guide was brilliant and we were in a group of 9 which was just the right size. Area being protected properly which was nice to see. Surprised we had to ask TUI about this as it wasn't advertised, only a smaller version of it. Highly recommended.

Although the experience was very good we were let down by TUI staff. Firstly they 'forgot' to book the transport so we missed our trip, it was then re-booked for later and had to pay the travel costs then apply for a refund, why? Once there we were advised that we could not do the 'plus' part of the experience as it is only done in the morning slot. We are awaiting a refund for this even though we were promised by the TUI Rep that she would copy us in on the email we have not received any notifi

Couldn’t take photos underground they had a photographer follow BIG PROBLEM PRICE OF PHOTOS AT THE END 40 dollars for 1 and a set for 120 dollars they weren’t even printed - downloaded to phone - everyone on in our group told them to get lost Absolute RIP OFF

The whole going underground experience was fantastic, sadly the photos offered were 12 dodgy images that were possibly available for the princely sum of one hundred and thirty US dollars, I personally thought that was ridiculous so opted not to have them, as did every other member of our little group, I think a price review maybe called for. Shame really.

Der Ausflug war gut, doch der Weg vom Eingang bis zur Höhle ist eine umbefestigte, vom Regen mit Löchern ausgeschwemmte Straße, die für Menschen mit einem Bandscheibenvorfall schmerzhaft - auch im Nachhinein- ist und für jene, die noch keine Probleme mit dem Rücken haben auf jeden Fall danach ein Bandscheibenproblem haben.

Enjoyed the zip line, caves, and the historical site. Did not get an opportunity to do the other thing. Did not like that we had to drive around for one hour and 45 minutes before commencing the experience. Did not enjoy that we did not have any towels with us - very disappointing. Did not enjoy the air conditioning leaking on me in the minibus Did not enjoy being packed into a big group in the minibus like sardines.

Die Bilder die gemacht werden sind leider zu überteuert muss so nicht sein Essen war auch kalt alles in allem eine sehr schöne Tour zum Schluß aber wurde gedrängelt das man fertig werden sollte war nicht so angenehm aber ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert

Leider hat man keine Erinnerung, weil man keine Fotos machen darf und die Fotos die gemacht werden sind mit 149 Dollar einfach viel zu teuer und schlecht. Ansonsten eine sehr schöne Tour.

Enjoyed the experience completely the guide was very informative and helpful. I thought photos were expensive to purchase but bought the whole package negotiated a discount and got 46 photos. Whereas charge for one was 30 US dollars!!

I like everything, it was great. The guide staff was excellent, I think her name is Ana. On the bad side of things, the price of the pictures were extremely high, it was higher that the price of the whole tour, that is not right. On the other hand, the internal conditions of the transport units were deplorable, with broken seats, which leaves much to be desired in terms of service. Otherwise, I'm very happy with everything.

Der Ausflug an sich war wunderschön. Der Guide war mehr als freundlich und kompetent. Leider steht das alles im Schatten, wenn man etwas so schönes Erlebt hat, keine Kameras und Go Pro mit Sicherung mit nehmen darf, um die Urlauber nachher mit überteuerten Fotopreisen ab zu zocke, um Erinnerungen daran haben zu können. 135$ ist eine Frechheit und nicht gerechtfertigt. Sehr schade!

The cenotes kwe amazing. The guide was excellent. It is something we will never forget. The only issue we had was the photos where a ridiculous price and pictures was only taken of people in the cenotes. No real pictures depicting the beauty of the cenotes themselves. What a waste.

Fabulous trip. Uncertainty about collection at hotel or making our own way there - soon cleared up by our Rep Pawel. Everything needed, provided, we set off, with permission from the Mayan Protector (a hakka type ceremony) down into the Cenote. Bonito our guide was excellent and provided a safe and amazing tour with many anecdotes. Walking initially, swimming but no snorkling/faces in the water - battery powered helmet lights The Cenote was stunning and fascinating. Lunch afterwards was tasty.

The photos are too expensive and would expect to pay half the amount. We did purchase the photo package however the photos were sent via email link. The experience is awesome just the photo package isn’t worth the money,

I really enjoyed Rio Secreto as it was my last excursion before I returned home. I wanted to see more of Mexico's nature, Rio secreto provided just that. I was very lucky to be able to book on the tour last minute thanks to my tui Rep at the hotel Roberto Olea. It was nice to not have to worry about transport there and back.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Step by step our tour guide Jared made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. Under water caves was amazing even with my 8 and 10 year old kids. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion the most even after visiting Xplor and Xcaret the days before.

Really enjoyed it . I have been to 2 other cenote’s before which were much smaller . This one was Very big & a lot of walking in & out the water & unsteady underfoot , they need to tell people this . There were some older people who really struggled to get through. Also the photos were Way too expensive $30 each or all your own family group for $134 ? So we didn’t buy any . We went to Dunn river falls last year & paid $42 for a video & All the photos of the whole guided group .

Wir wurden leider fast eine Stunde später abgeholt, ohne jegliche Info darüber. Ansonsten war der Ausflug super! Rio Secreto ist wirklich sehenswert und eine absolute Empfehlung. Das Essen hat auch gut geschmeckt. Fotos im Anschluss werden viel zu teuer angeboten. Das ist sehr schade.

The trip was an unforgettable experience. The only real negative was transportation on the way out. Very reckless driver. Played loud rhythmic rave type music. Picked us up early adding 45-50 minutes to the trip out. He picked up another couple across town and actually passed our hotel on the way back. On the good side, guides were awesome. The experience incredible. Food was decent. Driver on the way back was much better.

Wir haben uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Team hat sich um alles gekümmert und uns Schritt für Schritt auf die Tour vorbereitet. Wir bekamen Helm, Wasserschuhe und Neopren-Anzug in der richtigen Größe und in sehr gutem Zustand gestellt. Im Höhlensystem hat unser Guide sehr gut auf die ganze Gruppe aufgepasst, damit alle das Erlebnis genießen konnten. Hinterher gab's Handtücher und ein ausgezeichnetes Mittagessen. Der Preis für alle Fotos war uns zu hoch, wir haben ein Einzelbild gekauft.

Wonderful experience, well organised and guide was very knowledgeable. The photo packages were just a little bit too expensive. Suggestion to also add some soap at the showers, to ensure all sunscreens are properly washed off before entering the caves.

Very efficient and informative guide,the equipment serviceable and caves magical. For a protected area with lots of understandable rules etc the commercial side at the end was a bit intense,you could either but all photos of the day for$120 or pick individual ones for $30 so not really a choice. The food wasn’t brilliant but edible The caves and the guide made the experience worthwhile

Absolutely fabulous day, we had a guide called Gabby, she was so very kind and looked after our group of 12 which included children of 5 and 8 years and older adults. Very organized felt very safe and such a fantastic experience, we have been on most trips offered by Tui, this was by far the best. Our guide knew all the facts and made the tour so interesting, only down side was photos had to be downloaded after purchasing which we did not do. Great lunch and transfers for the day.

Enjoyed the whole day. Great experience. Alexia was a brilliant guide her knowledge of the under water caves was impressive. She was very patient with me, calming me and reassured me all day. Patrice the photographer was brilliant took some amazing photographs he was also very knowledgable, he helped me a lot. Nervousness taking over some parts of the day.

Geweldige ervaring, ondergrondse rivier is een belevenis. Andere items waren ook de moeite waard. Maar 120 dollar voor de foto's is schandalig, zeker omdat je zelf geen camera mee mag nemen

Mooie ervaring om te wandelen en zwemmen in de ondergrondse rivier. Unieke ervaring. Alles was top. Op het eten na. Je mag zelf geen foto’s maken, maar er loopt een fotograaf van het bedrijf mee. Na afloop wel afdingen voor de foto’s! Eten viel wel tegen daar.

Pick up information was unclear so got picked up late. Lots of faffing around on site and no check that appropriate sized life jackets had been put on. Guide was excellent but we were put with ignorant French group and had to wait for guide to speak to us in English. Slightly expensive but what isn't in mexico

Het is een gweldige ervaring met veel respect voor de lokale bevolking en de natuur! Een Must See als je iets van het land wilt meekrijgen. En eigenlijk wil ik de activiteit toch weer niet promoten om te zorgen dat het zijn exclusiviteit behoudt. De communicatie bij het ophalen bij het hotel en later bij het verzamelpunt was niet helemaal helder, maar kwam wel op zijn pootjes terecht.

The experience is hyped as an underground river experience. Others would call it pot-holing- through quite large caverns rather than through narrow tunnels. It was lovely though, even though hyped. Cost of photos was silly- way too high.

Tolle Führung mit nettem Guide. Eindrucksvolle Höhle. Auch die Tochter mit 2 Jahren Schulenglisch kam bei den Erläuterungen gut mit. Essen war lecker. Würde das Plus Ticket jederzeit wieder buchen
