Eine wirklich interessante Tour mit 2 Stopps. Der Guide hat in English und Deutsch sehr viele Facts zur historischen und prähistorischen Geschichte erzählt. Er ist sehr gut. Lediglich die Coordinaten zum Abholpunkt musste ich beim Service erfragen. Sie wurden umgehend geschickt und zusätzlich hat man sich 2x telefonisch gemeldet, ob alles passt. Der Service ist super! Der Abholpunkt, war dann dennoch nicht zu 100% dort, aber es ließ sich gut händeln. Man muss selber aufpassen u fragen.

We had no TourGuide on our coach at all and a driver that didn’t appear to speak English. We picked up from various teas as usual and then sat outside a supermarket for near half an hour without any explanation. A tour guide Mark, then popped his head on and said he was on the other bus and would see us there. So we got none of the usual tourist information as we travelled.

Ik zou adviseren om de groep in tweeën te splitsen bij elke tempel. De ene helft kan kijken terwijl de andere helft de informatie krijgt. De gids moet dan wel 2x het verhaal doen. Maar er is weinig bewegingsruimte in de tempels en in het hoogseizoen zal het nog drukker zijn.

The sites and the tour were great but it did feel rushed - possibly because we were still picking up people after we’d been on the coach an hour. The 2 temples in particular we were rushed around less than 10 mins at each actual site

Zonder we het wisten hadden we deze bezichtigingen al met een andere tour van Tui bezocht. Waardoor we dus de grotten en tempels 2x hebben bezocht. Het was wel interessant omdat deze gids meer te vertellen had dan de vorige.

The tour guide on our Prehistoric Temples tour had an amazing amount of knowledge that he passed on at each of the three Temples ,making the whole experience very interesting .
The Temples themselves were quite fascinating once the guide had given you an insight into the purpose of them.

Enjoy d all of it. Did not like changing couch is. Got dropped off at a different spot to the one we got on. A little confusing as to knowing how to get back again.

Es gibt so viel Interessantes zu sehen, dass die vorgegebene Zeit knapp bemessen ist. 1 Stunde mehr wäre gut.

Stunning neolithic sites - enjoyed the cave and both temples Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable - and the coach picked us up on time and was comfortable - great driver - enjoyed seeing the countryside as a bonus We went to the Archeological Museum in Valletta later in the week, and it really enhanced that visit by having previously been 'on site' at the temples Thoroughly recommend this excursion!

Interesting and informative trip. Tour guide was very good. Only concern was the details of pick up in the am. Wrong location provided. Stated opposite the church, however the coach stopped outside the church. We could have easily missed the coach if it was not for a local excursion seller nearby

Der Ausflug war sehr interessant. Die Informationen unseres deutschsprachigen Guides waren gut. Bei Erläuterungen außerhalb des Busses bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten wäre eine bessere Verständlichkeit des Reiseleiters durch einen Sprachverstärker hilfreich gewesen.

De prehistorische grot van Ghar Dalam, waar veel botten en beenderen van uitgestorven dieren zijn gevonden, met het bijbehorende museumpje was bijzonder leerzaam. Vooral de skeletten van de mini-olifant en het mini-nijlpaard trekken de aandacht. Daarna ging de excursie naar de wereldberoemde megalithische tempels van Hagar Qim en Mnajdra, die zo'n 5500 jaar oud zijn, en daarmee de oudste gebouwen van Europa! (ouder dan Stonehenge en de piramiden van Egypte). Er moet dus al een heel vroeg een georganiseerde gemeenschap op Malta aanwezig zijn geweest die deze bouwwerken/constructies van enorme stenen voor elkaar wist te krijgen met primitieve middelen. Dat vonden wij zeer indrukwekkend.

If you enjoy history and Unesco world heritage sites then this is a must. We found it fascinating and we were amazed that we were allowed to stand inside the temples. The guides were excellent and knowledgeable. The caves were also interesting for a short visit. The pick up and drop off at the nearby hotel worked well and was prompt.
