This experience has adventure stamped all over it. Off-road buggy rides, traditional Taino ceremonies and swimming in underground pools make for an adrenaline-pumping evening from Punta Cana. Juan, one of our local guides, says ‘Caves and cenotes played an important role in the indigenous Taino culture. Despite looking so tempting with their cool aquamarine water, the Taino people never swam in the cenotes or used the water because of their belief that they were a gateway to the underworld.' Plus, you'll enjoy a Dominican dinner and an open bar followed by live music.To kick off your all-action evening, you'll power through the Dominican countryside, zoom along dirt tracks and watch as the landscape transforms from day to night. Guided by torchlight, you'll continue your journey to take a swim in a natural cave pool, known as a cenote, with atmospheric lighting. With flaming torches lighting the way, you'll make your way back to base for a well-earned drink and a tasty dinner of local cuisine. The restaurant staff pride themselves on creating classic Dominican dishes, freshly prepared with seasonal produce from the island. Rounding off the evening is a traditional Taino dance show and the chance to join in with a boogie or enjoy the open bar under the stars. Picked up in a truck. Had a double seated ATV. Really good fun but be prepared to get dirty. Had an informative talk and tasting items with a guide. Watched a traditional dance. Water in the cave with pumping music was fab but the water was so cold! Changing rooms very clean. Had a buffet. Then the chance to have a dance before being taken back to our hotel. Had a really good evening.

The organiser of the event was 1.15 hours late picking us up at the hotel we had to call UK help line who had to chase the driver to the pickup, he told us that we were not at the pick up we were 20 minutes early for the pickup. The driver was constantly on his mobile phone while driving !! Once at the event we were given very little if no safety advice given just put in buggy right foot peddle go left stop then go, we were rushed so that we caught up with the main group so

Hi me and my other half have traveled to Mexico Jamaica, and now Dominican Republic,, with RUI,, tui,, 1st 2excellent ,,,Dominican,, very few understand English,, entertainment. For 2 weeks terrible,,,rooms need. Updating,, fan made a noise AC. Made a noise,,, but then they offer you an upgrade ££,,

The buggy tour was great alongside the food and learning about the tribe. The rest of the evening was a complete waste of time and felt like the ‘disco’ and swimming in a natural pool was more of a gimmick for tourists. I’d also recommend not taking customers from a hotel in a safari bus to a location. Both myself and the rest of my group felt very uncomfortable as it felt incredibly **********.

Enjoyed the entire experience. Wish the resorts have us more information around clothing, foot wear and back packs. We ruined a pretty expensive back pack because we couldn't b leave it at the buggy stop.

Quality service the staff from the buggies were 100% in there job role made you feel safe and valued guide sexy chocolate ans sexy pineapple so much fun full and full of knowledge and so polite and caring. The guides on the buggies so understanding and caring. Didn't really like the pressure of buying in the shop but I do understand that is the way you make money. The meal.great the entertainment really good the swim so much fun

We enjoyed the whole experience it was great fun throughout the trip, safety was considered at all times and the organisers went out of their way to ensure everyone was included and enjoyed themselves through all the activities. Dancing at the end was such a great way to round off the evening. Activities were very well thought through.

This experience was awesome, its definitely worth it. Just a little bit of advise....take a waterproof bag with you and have clothes which you wouldnt mind if at the end has to go in a bin as you will get muddy and might stain your clothes. Even tho apart from this its definitely worth every penny??????

Little thought given to what we could do while waiting for the rest of the group who were doing the buggy ride. Also no consideration to for allergies. Fruit punch had passion fruit in it to go with rum other alternative was water. No information given at Buffett for the food offered. Music too loud at senote and unnecessary. Would not recommend to anyone.

We were collected from hotel on a themed truck, went on the buggies which was enjoyable and easy to drive. Then met the tribe and onto the best part. The cenotes, just perfect. The experience, swim, DJ, shots and the dancing. Amazing night. Many thanks to the whole team, well worth the money.

Buggy rijden had ik mij wat meer van voor gesteld. Het is gewoon dom in een treintje achter elkaar aan rijden en je zou verwachten dat je wat meer spanning en sensatie zou krijg dan een paar modder plasjes. Het eten daar in tegen was goed geregeld en lekker. Personeel dat er rond liep was aardig en behulpzaam. Puur op het buggy rijden zou ik dit niet aanraden bij andere mensen.

Was a fun night - there was a lot to pack in and not much time spent in the spring cave - I would have liked more. The local meal was lovely and the tour guides knowledgeable and friendly. The entertainment was ok - I thought we would be entertained rather than being part of the entertainment but it worked out, Im just quite shy!

Everything was great. Fun and exciting. The only thing I would improve is the dancing and carnival at the end. It felt very rushed because too many things were trying to fit in such a short time. I would suggest to either focus on the dancing only or the carnival only.

We got to the place made wait for a hour before being took to the buggies, also was refused a drink. Our rep told us there would be a part for free off road driving not the case. In line following guide. Also told we both would be able to drive again not the case one driver all the way to the cave. Cave was fantastic and staff couldn’t have been any better. But if not for the cave a truely disappointing experience

Honestly the experience was amazing but the picture's are not accurate with the buggy what you gone drive. So everyone on this planet want to take advantage on you and reap you off. The tour driver expected me to drive the buggy at a speed what I didn't feel comfortable doing. They also advertise a open bar. They open the bar 5 minutes before you leave. I wouldn't call that a open bar.

The arrival "shop" was very disorganised not sure where we were ment to be - first thing basket's wear hande out for shopping? ! Then $70 for photos!! The buggy ride was very good the staff were very professional. The history of Dominican could have had more information , but entering . The cave was stunning but the DJ and the noise was not what we expected. The food was buffet and nothing on the food to say what you were eating- overall mixed views

An excellent evening out! Driving the buggies was a great adrenaline rush, then a bit of Dominican history and culture followed by a disco in a cave pool. Food was delicious and afterwards onto a carnival disco. Excellent value for money. Make sure you bring a towel and a change of clothes. Overall highly recommend

Was a great excursion,, if it had been as advertised on the tui app, however, staff were amazing. Unfortunately the app description advised 1 hour buggy drive, with 20 minutes extra exclusively for tui customers. That didn't happen, the buggy drive lasted for 30 minutes only, therefore it was not value for money making it an expensive excursion.

From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The experience driving the Buggy’s was really good fun, we enjoyed the traditional dance and Dominican buffet, the cave in the rave we weren’t expecting but still had a great time! Absolute amazing experience, 100% would pay to do this again. From stepping off the bus, staff was so energetic and friendly. Amazing food, fantastic show and experience provided, DJ was top-notch! There is nothing i could fault at all. Woukd recommend everyone should do this excursion, really do get more than your money worth. The party in the cave... just wow! Me and my partner loved every second

The event was amazing and would definitely recommend. It would of been nice to have been told the travelling time and also the rep told us there would be towels available but there wasn't. The transfer transport going there was disappointing as the driver spent most of the time on his phone talking and messaging which seemed very unsafe.

When we arrived at the buggies, it was a bit of a free for all, didn’t have the TUI buggy as promised as non TUI people grabbed them. But to be quite honest we went with the whole idea of getting dirty and I think the normal buggies give you that thrill of going through water and getting covered in mud. The show was great and learning the culture, Cenote was amazing

Too many buggies on the path. Could only go a little faster if you let the buggies in front of you gain some distance, but once you caught back up with them, it was back to a slower speed. Overall, it was an awesome excursion. Would definitely do it again.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Staff were extremely informative, helpful and clear throughout. Buggies were fast enough (50km/h) and exciting on their trails. History of the Taino tribe, the swim in the cenote, food and dancing were all outstanding. Bus picked up on time, towels provided after swim. 10/10 would recommend.

Really expensive for what it was. Disappointing that there was no safe place to keep “luggage” from getting wet and dirty given how wet and dirty it was - actually made it unenjoyable as was trying to stop clothes etc from being ruined. It wasn’t twilight it was pitch black. Also kept being told I was “brave” as a women on my own to do it Wasn’t told it is essentially a “rave in a cave” - wouldn’t have picked this one of would have known!

Great excursion! We stayed in La Romana so the transfer was long, but worth it. Sunset buggies were brilliant – minimal safety briefing but easy to drive. They tried to sell bandanas for $5, but these are included with TUI so hold firm. The Dominican reserve was fascinating and the team were fun (sexy cappuccino!). The cave rave was incredible and the dinner was delicious. Overall, we’d definitely recommend.

Very worthwhile trip! Well organised and lots of different elements to the trip, not just buggy driving. BUT we were told that they provide towels - they don’t so we had no way of drying off after the cenote swimming. We had been advised to take dry clothes so we were prepared for that. The village was immediately after the driving so we were soaking wet and covered in mud so didn’t pay that much attention. Food was good though and so was the dancing afterwards.

Brilliant experience it rained when we went and going through flooded roads added to the fun. Great off roading experience saw a great native Dominican tribal dance and show, Swimming and Dancing in cave pools drinking Mamajuanna and Tasty Dominican Dinner before more dancing. Throughly recommend for a great experience

Not really worth the price and not very well advertised. The overall experience is abit underwhelming as you aren’t really on the buggy’s or swimming in the cave for that long it feels very rushed and abit pushy when you sit through the adverts for cigars coffee and coconut oils and then are lead through the gift shop. As for the exclusive extra 20 minutes driving time for TUI guests, it’s not a real thing and shouldn’t be on the advert as it is false advertising.

TUI representative advised we did not need any water shoes, but when arriving to the tour, the tour guides suggested to have water shoes. If you are a party of 2 they will give you the smaller quads which you will get mud on you from the buggy tour, while parties of 3 will get the bigger carts - because my partner is tall he complained and we got a bigger cart luckily otherwise his knees would of not coped. The buggy tour is really fun! Overall good experience and worth the money.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the pictures we paid 100 for. We got 78 pics which is 40 less then we got on a different excursion ( for only 75 dollars) and there were no pics of the cenote except for under one of the overhangs. The first of our group got like 15 pics and the last one got 2. We wanted pics of the beautiful surroundings not just pics of us. The food was amazing, the buggies were fun and the cenote our favourite. Good for 20 yr olds and 50 yr olds.

We were 25 mins before the pick-up time in the roalton bavaro hotel lobby. But for some reason, the transport didnt turn up. Luckily, the Tui rep sorted us out a different transport, so we managed to do the excursion, which was fab!

My family really enjoyed the experience, started with the buggies it had been raining so the track we went on was great, puddles, mud everywhere. Then music in the cave got to wash off and change for dinner then onto the music and dancing/entertainment. Great night out

This evening bugy experience was absolutely fantastic, the two guides "sexy capachino and organic coffee" we're very friendly and got involved with the guest, only reason I did not give them a full 10 on the score was when I came to the dancing at the end. The DJ and sexy capachino were literally so loud in the microphone and speakers it was Hurting mine and our wifes ears. So we had to sit at the back with our fingers in our ear. Only to realise we were not the only ones

Zeer leuke avond gehad, regende wel maar voor Buggy tocht eigenlijk wel goed.Leuk gezwommen en lekker gegeten kortom moeite waard. Enige minpuntje,hadden foto shoot erbij,mooie foto's behalve van ons in de Buggy (dat is eigenlijk waarom je het doet).

Fokus var ikke sjov i en buggy, men at sælge souvenirs og lokale varer. Mænd gik rundt med mikrofon og højtaler skruet helt op, og råbte sexy chocolate, vi blev trukket igennem souvenir butik samt lille lokale, hvor man kunne smage kaffe og cacao, hvis man ville købe, ellers fik vi besked på at gå ud. Turen i buggy var stop and go på en kedelig grusvej, meget af tiden lige ud til vi skulle vende på vejen og samme vej retur. Grotte var diskotek og senere var der ballon dans og 15 min. fri bar.

It was a great experience. We really enjoyed the buggy tour (you canbdrive quite fast). The cave disco was brilliant, the picture package isn't cheap $80 but for that price you can have all the pictures and you can make the photographer to work for his money (we had over 60 photos). The staff was really good energetic and multi lingo (french,english,spanish). Food was really good and all the staff went over and beyond to make sure we have a full on experience.

Venden la experiencia como una aventura extrema donde habrá lodo, momentos de adrenalina y realmente no es así, simplemente es un paseo en auto sin nada de lodo, hasta resulta un poco aburrido, la cena en general bien, la experiencia en el cenote bastante bien el personal amable y cordial
