Walk through the paradise valley on a guided tour in Madeira. You'll be able to enjoy a walk along the levada of Serra do Faial which is over a hundred years old. Starting in Vale do Paraíso and finishing in Rochão. Discover the local flora and fauna that inhabit this natural beauty.Along the way you'll see cultivated terraces, spectactular gardens and beautiful views over the village of Camacha. You may come across small colorful cottages amongst the green, giving off a sense of tranquility.Don't miss out on a wonderful stroll that will make your holiday even more worth it on the island.

Please bring a jacket or warm garment. Some areas in the mountains can get a bit cold. (you can leave your coat in the van when the weather is warm)
Water/drinks and food (some snacks for the half-day walks or lunch for the full-day walks)

Weer een leuke tour met gids Sara. Deze keer een overwegend vlakke wandeling, grotendeels bebost, dus goed beschut tegen de zon.

Eine sehr gute Tour für Einsteiger, auch für ältere Teilnehmende gut zu meistern. Der Guide war sehr informativ und insbesondere die Flora an den Wegen war interessant und immer wieder entdeckte man schöne blühende Exemplare. Besonders gut hat mir die kleine Gruppengrösse von 7 Personen gefallen.

Es ist eine gute Einsteigerwanderung. Die Wanderführerin kannte den Weg und die Umgebung. Sie hat das Wissen an die Teilnehmenden gut weitergegeben. Obwohl sie nur Englisch und Französisch geführt hat, kannte sie die besonderen Pflanzen- und Tiernamen auch in Deutsch und Spanisch.

Malgré le mauvais temps, le guide a poursuivi la visite dans la ********** humeur et avec une multitude d'explications sur la faune et la flore de l'île. Cette marche est à ma portée de tous (jeunes comme personnes âgées). Nous avons longé une levada (canal d'irrigation); c'est relativement plat. Un break est prévu dans un petit café local.

Es handelte sich um eine kleine Gruppe, daher ar die Führung sehr familiär. Auch für ungeübte Wanderer ist diese Strecke gut geeignet, und es gab vieles zu entdecken. Unsere führerin hat uns sehr gut informiert und unterhalten.
