From tigers and lions to penguins, monkeys and more, Pafos Zoo is a giant playground where kids can run wild and discover over 500 species of animals. You'll spend a few hours exploring the zoo at your own pace, and with transfer from your hotel included, everything's planned for a great family day out.Once you arrive at Pafos Zoo, you'll have a few hours to venture in and wander from enclosure to enclosure in your own time. Meet all the residents, big and small, make sure you catch the famous parrot show and take the kids down to the children's farm where they can pet and interact with friendly animals.There's also everything from elephants all the way to guinea pigs and porcupines. You'll also encounter colourful birds such as flamingos and reptiles like snakes and tortoises. What's more, the park has all the facilities you'll need including a snack bar, restaurant and souvenir shop.

We are both big animal lovers and even though I had reservations about going as we have been to other zoos where the animals enclosures were far to small, where as Paphos zoo i was pleasantly surprised that the enclosures were bigger than I thought they would be. It was an enjoyable day out and we managed to see a few animals and birds that we haven't seen before.

The zoo experience was great, bird show was fascinating and very well thought out. However the condition of some of the enclosures were dreadful, tiny areas for camels and cows and some birds were in tiny and uninspired cages, why couldn’t all the birds be in a large sanctuary? The larger animals like the elephant and lions were in more appropriate enclosures. They all looked well looked after but felt a little bad for all the birds in cages. They should be able to fly around in their enclosures

The holiday was lovely. The foods was nice. The Hotel was lovely. Staff was very nice and helpful . Only one exception to one staff. That staff wasn’t staff not going to stop us enjoying your holiday. The manager dealt with the issue to a great standard and overall we were all very happy and we had a wonderful holiday. We will definitely go there again..

Although Zoo's are not always popular, Paphos Zoo was very enjoyable. As with most of this kind of thing, it's not a natural environment for wildlife, however we enjoyed seeing many species and felt the staff were doing their best to keep the animals well looked after

Quite an interesting zoo, and a nice place to walk around and spend a few hours. Lots of exhibits to see, but, like any zoo, you may not be able to see all of them. There's a good bird show that's included with the entry, so be sure to remember to go. There are a few enclosures that need a bit of tlc and updating, but work is ongoing. Good for young families and couples who are interested in wildlife

More info on the coach, was told 30 min transfer but closer to 1 hour and 20. Had two trips booked that day so was tight for time due to incorrect timings given. Ahead notice of cash for experiences would also be good. But overall great zoo and value for money.

We didn’t go we booked tickets through the TUI app and we waited a hour for pick up and nothing picked up up my son is autistic and was so upset and I have chronic pain with a walking aid waiting a hour was to much I’m disappointed as I spoke to to online rep I haven’t received a email about rearranging a another date now I just want a refund

Not disabled friendly at all. €20 an hour to hire a mobility scooter, then could only go around the parameter of the zoo sticking to the tarmacked road. Most of the enclosures are far to small for the amount of animals especially the birds. Most of the bigger animals were either inside or out of view.

Unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. Bus arrived driver didn't even get off the bus not even to help load my partners mobility scooter as she is disabled so had to get help from someone walking past, then the same when we arrived and leaving the zoo, bus was dirty what looked like black mould on the ceiling with water dripping from the fans, broken seats, zoo itself ok apart from half the main enclosures were empty but ones with animals full of animal waist, don't recomme

Zoo was good had lots of animals to see. Shame getting there and getting through to the zoo from Tui was not great. Coach turned up 30 minutes late without any notice on the app. Had booked a taxi when the bus finally showed up and had to cancel it. Pointless sending e-tickets when you still have to queue up to get a paper one. Should send the tickets through with a barcode as you can walk straight in and get your ticket scanned

Collected at correct time and journey to zoo was pleasant. Facilities (toilets etc) were pretty good. Zoo was set out well. Like all zoo’s it is a bit of pot luck if the animals decide to show themselves. Weather was extremely hot on our visit. Unfortunately there appeared to be 2 dead baby fat bellied pigs in view in an enclosure. We alerted staff who said they were aware however their was no urgency in the staff to tend to the problem.

The zoo itself was ok if you mostly like birds. The bird display show was really good. We arrived at the zoo at 10.45am and had to queue up to get a ticket so didn't get in till 11.10am. The bus back was at 2.30pm. Enough time to see everything if your a couple, but if you have a family and want to eat it's not long enough in my opinion. Pre payed tickets should be issued on the bus to save the bit of time queuing up.

We were a little cautious about this trip after seeing other comments but we absolutely loved it! The bus arrived on time, was air conditioned and the driver was friendly. At the zoo, we took part in the lemur and elephant experiences at small additional costs and I'm so glad we did! The lemurs were so funny and feeding the elephant is something we're unlikely to be able to do anywhere else. The staff at the zoo were really knowledgeable and clearly love their animals.

The coach driver was a really nice fella a uk ex-pat very friendly and helpful . The some its sell is well set out but cages a little small . The elephant is a real comedian she made us laugh with her anticks. On our visit we didn't get to see the monkeys as cyprus was hit with a heat wave and they all hide in the shade. Overall i would recomend the half day visit. And don't forget to tip the driver he does a good job

We were told by the TUI rep the bus stop was on the main road I double checked this was not outside the hotel and he then given me directions to walk out the hotel up the hill and turn right to main bus stop The bus then drove passed us as it picks up outside the hotel We as a family of 3 had to run and get the bus which did then have to come back for me as daughter had got on bus aged 14 and the bus driver drove around to collect us This then give the zoo a bad experience

An improvement could be that the coach driver, after greeting you onto the coach, could hand you your tickets into the park. On arrival at the zoo we had to queue for 20 mins in strong sunshine to collect tickets from the booth, even though we had actually already paid for.

The Tui reps who arranged our tour were efficient and knowledgeable. The price was about right. The coach driver was helpful and friendly. The zoo was good in parts, a little tired in some parts. It was an extremely hot day which made covering the zoo hard going. It would have helped to have water stations along the way. Everyone enjoyed it though.

The trip was incredible in that you can pay to feed the elephant. 50 euros for up to 5 people. Not something you can do everyday and a memory that will be ingrained forever. We unfortunately missed feeding the Lemur's by minutes. The only thing is that breaks for staff fronting year aren’t advertised. My advice is to do these things as soon as you get there. Enclosures were rather small in my opinion. Was extremely hot so animals were inside a lot.

We didn’t like the condition of some of the enclosures, some animals were on their own, others for example the camels were very skinny, you could see their ribs and hips. Not the best experience and wouldn’t visit again. However the transfer was very well organised and was great value for money.

Was annoying to queue for a ticket when we had already paid. Seemed like there was a lot of birds to see. It was too hot so a lot of the animals were understandably hiding in the shade. The elephant experience was well worth it but allow yourself plenty of time for hanging about. Feeding the Lemurs was brilliant. Not a lot of shade but there was air conditioning in the bat hut, reptile area and souvenir shop. Overall great, however, would recommend coming in cooler months

The zoo was good fun. suitable for all the age groups in our party. There is a lot of walking and hills for the information of those with mobility issues. It was also very hot and there is not a great deal of shelter. Good clean toilets and places to buy ice cream etc. The coach was prompt, clean and the driver was friendly.

De Pafos Zoo was leuk om te bezichtigen. Zeker de vogelshow is echt om aan te raden. Maar in de omschrijving staat dat er een rondleiding is met gids (Engels), maar het is gewoon rondlopen zonder gids.

My daughter loved the lemurs experience infact she paid twice to go in. The animals in general were not looking good health wise. It didn't take that long to visit all animals so we had to waste time before the coach picked us back up. We bought food in the restaurant to waste time. The food was nice reasonably priced too. The lemur and elephant experiences were fantastic, being able to be up close to the amazing animals and all ataff across the site were friendly and polite. The ladies that did the bird show were very well educated in their role and gave a lot of information about the breeds they have as well as making the birds safety a top priority. A nice touch to have pics taken whilst holding with birds for a mere 5 Euros. The park was clean with plenty of drink and WC stops.

Although the zoo was good and the elephant experience was amazing we found the time you got to spend there wasn’t very long and it felt a bit rushed to get round everything our tickets stated 4-8hrs visit we got 3hrs 15mins before we had to be back at the bus spending most of that time queueing to see the elephant as it was a popular attraction

It was a lovely zoo, lots of variety of animals to see, a nice cafe and restaurant, happy employees. My highlight was feeding the lemurs and having them crawl all over me, probably a highlight of my whole holiday to Cyprus! I thought the enclosures could have been a lot bigger for most of the animals though, and maybe some more enrichment for the elephant, who looked really bored.

I have already put in a complaint about this excursion, requesting that TUI review their relationship with Paphos Zoo. It was a totally unethical, unprofessional place to visit. We left heartbroken at the tiny cages the beautiful animals were kept in. The enclosures were filthy. It was like visiting a third world place, and we would not expect a reputable company such as TUI to be complicit in supporting such a place. It left a blight on our holiday to say the least. We left the zoo feeling sad

Transfer hat leider nicht geklappt. Wurden einfach vergessen obwohl wir durch die Buchung über TUI direkt auf der Passagierliste mit abholpunkt standen. Der Zoo an sich ist leider auch keine wirkliche Augenweide, für Familien mit Kindern als ein Ausflugsziel eher was als für Erwachsene. Leider viele Gehege viel zu klein für die entsprechenden Tiere und auch durch manche Gitter schlechte Sicht. Somit Preis Leistung leider nicht wirklich gerechtfertigt.

From start to finish our visit to the zoo was excellent: staff were friendly, variety of animals was amazing, and food facilities were spot on. I’d read so many mixed views about this experience but I’m glad I gave it a go as we had a wonderful morning. The only down side was the time limit we were given. I know I paid for half a day but we didn’t arrive until 10:00am and we were told we needed to be back on the coach by 1:15pm. By the time we got through check in, that gave us less than 3 hours

I’ve given the staff a 7 as the driver was so rude and in such a bad mood, he kept slamming on his breaks which caused Childers to cry on the bus. The park was amazing great walk around and so many different animals

Der Zoo ist in einem schlechten Zustand. Die Tiere, besonders viele Vogelarten, sind in viel zu kleinen Käfigen untergebracht. Einige Tiere z.Bsp. Elefanten, Lemuren, Giraffen werden für Fotos (gegen extra Bezahlung) zusätzlichen Stress ausgesetzt. Die Gastronomie ist komplett überfordert. Der Zoo ist als Ausflugsziel nicht zu empfehlen. Die Organisation der Hin- und Rückfahrt hat sehr gut geklappt. Vor Ort muss das Online-Tickets noch in ein Papierticket getauscht (ca. 15 min anstehen) werden.

The transfer bus was prompt and took us both to the Zoo location and back to the hotel. Plenty to see at the Zoo and the time between arrival and departure was just about right, in addition to which, it gave us time to have a drink and something to eat. A very pleasant day out.

I really enjoyed the bird show, this was very good. The walking around was also beautiful and the staff were all lovely. One thing I wish I had known before going is that everything is cash only, they do animal experiences and it is cash only! Until you get to the gift shop and then you can use your card.

animals appeared well cared for and well fed and watered. The information was useful and clear, the guide map helped to navigate most of the animal enclosures. we didnt use the play area but this looked good apart from the chipping on the ground. There could have been some seating areas dotted around as the grounds were also very nice to look at. The reptile house needs updating, as this was a great showing of lots of different repiles.

It’s a knackered old zoo, the lemur interaction area was absolutely amazing however €5 for a half cup of food was a little steep. However definitely an experience, ended up doing it twice. Rest of the park looked knackered but with also i reckon could be really good if they changed out half of the birds they had for different animals or more animals or even more experience hubs. Restaurant there was massively overpriced and is exactly how I imagine other cafes try to not operate.

Zoo was lovely and the restaurant served delicious food and fast apon ordering. Cages were secure. Staff were very friendly and polite. I felt some of the enclosures were small compared to the UK zoos but it was a lovely time out to see the animals.
