Le domeniche mattina a Malta sono dedicate al relax. E questa combinazione di shopping e visite turistiche è pensata proprio per godersi la vera Malta. Durante questa escursione visiterete il villaggio di pescatori di Marsaxlokk – uno dei più pittoreschi del Paese – per il suo mercato settimanale e la famosa Grotta Azzurra.Inizieremo con un po' di shopping a Marsaxlokk. Questo caratteristico villaggio di pescatori ospita ogni domenica mattina un grande mercato sul lungomare – non perdetevi le barche «luzzu» dai colori vivaci che galleggiano nel porto. Oltre al pesce appena pescato, troverete anche frutta e verdura coltivata localmente, vini maltesi, salumi, formaggi e articoli in pelle.Poi ci dirigeremo verso una delle attrazioni naturali più famose di Malta: la Grotta Azzurra di Wied Iz-Zurrieq. Si tratta di una grotta naturale profonda 50 metri con un enorme arco che si protende verso il mare. Le grotte prendono il nome dalla luce che si riflette sull'acqua, creando un colore blu abbagliante. È disponibile anche un'escursione facoltativa in barca all'interno della grotta. Per concludere, visiterete uno dei borghi incontaminati di Malta. Dalla piazza principale al cuore del paese, con la sua chiesa parrocchiale e la sede della banda, sarete guidati attraverso un labirinto di stradine tortuose che hanno tutte una storia da raccontare.

Sehr kurzfristige Änderung der geplanten Tour, unnötige Wartezeiten (Hotel 30 Minuten), 45 Minuten am Sammelort der Busse, dort erst auf weitere Nachfrage an den Guide , erfahren des Ablaufs, Unsinnige Stops Qrendi , Massenabfertigung mit ungeduldigem Personal am Bootsverleih in der blauen Grotte..

We signed up with our rep on arrival . Bit of a mixed review . Trip to the market was great ( could have done with another 30 mins) Blue grotto boats - definitely worth paying extra for the boat trip but nowhere was it mentioned to us that the boat ride was cash only . The coach service was well organised . The downside - the tour of the village - it wasn't mentioned upon booking and did not appeal to us at all . A bit of a waste of 30 mins

Der Ausflug war gut organisiert und sehr schön. Leider war die Zeit in Marsaxlokk etwas knapp eingeplant. Bei der Buchung wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass die Bootsfahrt zur blauen Grotte nich im Preis enthalten ist (obwohl das Thema war "blaue Grotte" und dsiese nur vom Ufer nicht zu sehen war). Die zusätzlichen Kosten von € 10.- pro Person war die Bootsfahrt aber auf jeden Fall wert.

Loved the blue grotto, didn't enjoy the stop to walk around a village and church for half an hour, got to market and had 50 mins, no where near long enough. Restaurants wouldn't us to have a drink without buying lunch, we didn't have time for lunch. Totally underwhelming.

Super joli vraiment rien à dire tellement les grottes sont fabuleuses . Le marché typique très bien mais énormément de monde . Je suis heureuse de l’avoir découvert en Avril . Mais ça a le mérite d’être vu . La guide par chance était Josiane comme hier elle est très bien et connaît l’histoire de chaque étape !

The first half of the tour was good the meal we had was not good it seems you always get a bowl of pasta on these trips. The second half the coach stopped every so often and the guide gave us a tour but the weather was windy cold and rained, the most interesting places they only gave us about half an hour to look around which wasn’t enough time the boring parts they gave us more time. Next time we would go by bus or taxi and go where we wanted with no time limits and no unappetising food

More time required to look around the market needed! Don’t need the walk through the village looking at the architecture! Was told when we booked we would get photo opportunities on the blue grotto from the top which we didn’t unless you got the boats at an extra charge which is ok but they are small and the sea was exactly calm so we didn’t do the boat missing the blue grotto view?

Blue Grotto view point infrastructure needs improving to make people walk one way around. Having several bus loads of people trying to get past each other was frustrating. Guide was ok but could have been more positive when asking people if they didn't intend to catch the bus back. Marsaxlokk had lots of cranes for the port and a massive gas tanker in the background, so not picturesque. Probably better to go on a day without the busy market so there is more room to walk around the bay.

Our tour was 40 minutes late picking up and we weren’t told prior. The tour was then a bit rushed. The guide did her best in organising the group. Some of the group took advantage of the times to return, so held the coach and the group up. Overall though it was a nice day, lots packed in and very informative. It is such a beautiful island and especially at Christmas. I really enjoyed the places we visited and would do them again under my own steam so I could take my time and not feel rushed.

Blue grotto experience good. Village visit and market experience terrible. Only 45 mins to visit market and village. No where near enough time. Village visit was unnecessary and time wasting for very little return. Time would have been better spent added to time in and around market.

Die Abholung mit dem Tourer war 10 Minuten zu spät, dann noch 25 Minuten am Übergabepunkt zum großen Bus, somit mehr als eine halbe Stunde Zeitverzögerungam Beginn, diese fehlte dann überall, es gab keine Möglichkeit irgendwo in Ruhe einen Kaffee zu trinken oder gar am Fischmarkt ein Mittagessen zu konsumieren. Die blaue Grotte ist jedenfalls sehenswert, der Rest war nur Marathon mit Zeit aufholen, da alles genau getaktet war. Empfehwlung: Bolt oder Uber buchen und Orte dann selbst erkunden

Dieser Ausflug hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Unsere Tourbegleitung, eine. Came namens Chantal, ear sehr nett und hat uns vin Anfang an mitgenommen. Hat uns sehr viel erzählt, auch zwei sprachen, für Gäste englisch und auch deutsch. Die Ziele, zuerst die Grotte und dann der Markt, waren zeitlich sehr gut überlegt. Erst das eine und danach das andere. Wir hatten auch genügend Zeit über den Markt in marsaxxlokk zu gehen. Es war sehr voll, aber es war gute Möglichkeit, zu schauen und auch einzukaufen.

Matt was brilliant as a guide 10/10. The market is better to visit on any other day but Sunday, beautiful little fishing village which you can't experience properly, it was so very busy and really the fish market was really for locals and it stank, especially on a very hot day, we'd been to the market on Friday and it was beautiful not too crowded so was expecting the Sunday market to be so much more but really it wasn't.

We bleven maar 30 minuten in Marsaxlokk. Bedenk dat het 10 minuten lopen was van de parkeerplaats naar het begin van de markt. Enkele reis! En als je als vrouw naar het toilet wil ben je ook al 10 minuten kwijt vanwege de wachtrij. Ik wil niet weten hoe dit in het hoogseizoen is.

We enjoyed the local area and the atmosphere of the market. We had expected a 'Flea Market' as described by the Tui guide, so we was a little disappointed that there were no used and antique goods being sold. The guide was very careful to explain not to accept or buy from certain market traders, which we were thankful for.

Beim Marktbesuch gab man dervGruppe 25 min. Zeit. Für den Transfer, beziehungsweise die Zusammenführung der viel zu großen Reisegruppe hatte man aber Stunden Zeit. Eine Frechheit! Das ist abzocke am Kunden und kein kundenfreundliches Verhalten. Am Schluss war noch der Höhepunkt, dass der Bus, bei dem die Hälfte der Teilnehmer noch persönliche Gegenstände hinterlassen hatten, einfach abgefahren ist. So warten wir halt, bis diese wieder kam, um uns dann durch Kleinbusse wieder ins Hotel fahren zu

Une belle excursion malheureusement il y avait trop de vent pour pouvoir prendre une barque et s’approcher de la grotte bleue. Mais l’avantage c’est que le marché n’était pas trop bondé dû au temps. Le troisième stop à Qrendi a semblé long dû au fait qu’il n’y a pas grand chose à voir et que le guide devait faire la traduction dans 2 langues. Le prix reste tout de même assez élevé pour une activité qui se résume à des transferts et quelques explications.

L'excursion en bateau etait agréable. Nous avons cependant perdu du temps à s'arrêter simplement pour ..... une photo d'église à Rendi. Ce petit quart d'heure aurait pu allonger le temps que nous sommes restés au marché où on nous a octroyé 45 min moins le decompte du et vers le parking. On n'a eu le temps de ne RIEN faire, même pas prendre un rapide rafraîchissement en terrasse. Du marché, on n'a pratiquement rien vu n'ayant pas osé s'éloigner. Je déconseille cette excursion.

Tour guide included an unscheduled stop to look at houses/architecture in a town not named on the tour. I stayed in the coach as I can’t walk far and did not think anything of it until we arrived at Marsaxlokk at 12.15 and were told we had to back on coach at 1.15pm and we needed at least 5 mins to get back to where coach had parked plus we needed time to visit toilet and there were queues.. We’ve checked with other operators and their trip allows guests 1 1/2 hours in Marsaxlokk.

Der Busfahrer war überpünktlich und sehr freundlich. Die Reiseleiterin kam verspätet und wirkte nicht sehr motiviert. Die Begrüßung erfolgte erst als Alle abgeholt waren, ein guten Tag hätte ich schon erwartet. Am Markt in Marsaxlokk wurde eine Stunde Aufenthalt vereinbart und im Anschluss ein Treffpunkt. Ein Teil wurde schon zum Bus geschickt ein anderer ist mit der Reiseleiterin zum Bus, es war ihr meiner Meinung nach nicht möglich zu wissen ob jetzt alle da sind.

The time available for the market stop was just 45 mins which was not acceptable. The guide took the opportunity of doing a walking tour around a church which unfortunately made the time at Marsaokk too little ie not enough time to look at the fish market etc or get a coffee plus most of the fish had been sold so nothing to view - very disappointing as the trip was sold as Blue Grotto and market - not walking around the streets near a church- other tours allowed one and a half hours there !

The Marsollox part was less than an hour, parked a few minutes away for an hour. Us ladies had to queue in the toilet for 15 min so - with time to go to and from coach - orly 40 min there. The guide was excellent, coach comfortable and prompt but this location was listed first in the name of the tour yet had so least time there.

Not great, as due to weather blue cave boats not running(I understand no one’s fault), however the alternative part of excursion was uninspired. Taken to a viewpoint in rain and mist to see a view???? Went to see where boats would have gone from??? Driven 15 minutes to clamber down ( rough terrain) to see a sink hole, just deep rift now overgrown with trees. Due to vagaries of weather, there really should be a good back up trip if boats aren’t running. Nigel( guide) was very knowledgeable.

Heel leuke excursie. Zou wel mogen iets langer duren dan 4 uren, omdat de tijd (met vervoer inbegrepen en een tijd te wachten om van shuttles op een autocar te stappen) nogal krap is in Marsaxlokk en Blue Grotto. Alleszins als je de boottocht doet bij Blue Grotto is er geen tijd meer over om nog veel te zien erna. De laatste stop in Qrendi is geen meerwaarde en zou de tijd daar beter gespendeerd worden in Marsaxlokk en Blue Grotto.

Wir wurden mit einem Sprinter von unserem Hotel abgeholt und zu einem Sammelplatz gefahren, um dort in einen größeren Bus zu steigen. Dieser war leider total grenzwertig, Sitze waren feucht und der ganze Bus hat extrem modrig und nach Schimmel gerochen. Der Guide hat es aber sehr schön gestaltet und wir haben viele Informationen zur Insel Malta erhalten. An sich ein schöner Ausflug, war aber nicht ganz so wie wir es uns erwartet haben. Vor allem der Bus war ein großer Minuspunkt.

MARSAXLOKK en de markt samen was vrij leuk. Jammer dat we maar 1u hadden om de markt en de vissershaven te bewonderen. De boottocht naar de blue grotto mocht voor mij persoonlijk bij in de prijs inbegrepen zijn. Boottocht 10europ/p voor 20min varen is veel geld. Voor de rest heb ik van deze kunnen genieten. Zeker als je naar de markt gaat fotos nemen van de vissershaven met zijn kleurrijke bootjes .Markt zou ik later bekijken. Maar zeker een aanrader. .

De markt in Marsaxlokk ging niet door vanwege festiviteiten. Daarom zijn we naar een kleine markt in Rabbat gegaan. De blauwe grotten waren prachtig! Absoluut de moeite waard! Het kost een tientje (contant). Je stapt met ong. 8 anderen in een vissersbootje. Reddingsvesten moet je aan. Zijn zeer kundige vaarders. Was goed te doen op zee. Daarna nog naar Marsaxlokk geweest. We hadden niet veel tijd overal, omdat we drie stops hadden i.p.v. 2.Aangezien Rabbat was toegevoegd.Dat was jammer,qua tijd.

Obwohl an diesem Tag viele Leute vor Ort waren ging alles schnell und die Leute waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit beim ein-und aussteigen der Boote. Der Bootsführer erklärte vieles und fuhr sehr vorsichtig. Alle waren begeistert.

The actual trip was good. Could have done with a little longer at the market but it was fine. Unfortunately although I was back looking for the bus in time they were about to leave without me. On arrival the bus wasn’t parked so I was looking for it. I was a little earlier than they said when first started looking. Then they were just driving past me when they spotted me and stopped. If they hadn’t of seen me they were off. I was alone and although it worked out I was a little shaken.

The guide was very good and informative regarding the traditions of the market and the boats. Unfortunately the day of our tour the weather was not good and so we were unable to take the boat to the Blue Grotto, which couldn't be helped as we visited in February.

De markt is echt een toeristenmarkt met rommel te koop en de vismarkt stonk zo dat ik over mijn nek ging. Het boottripje was zo druk dat onze gids voorrang moest vragen omdat we ons anders niet aan het schema kon houden, waardoor andere wachtenden terecht boos werden.

Marsaxslokk was a really crowded market with less than an hour to try and push through, not really able to stop and browse at stalls. Public toilets are not open so when you got there you had to spend time finding a cafe to buy a drink and use the toilets first. Blue grotto really disappointed that the boats weren't running, the only reason I booked the trip was to go there and the guide told us half way through it wasn't going to happen. Should have been said at booking point that may happen.

Super Gids en goede daginvulling! De boottour naar de grotten vond ik het leukst! Alleen let op hiervoor moest je 10 euro pp nog betalen en de bootjes waren nogal instabiel. Maar wel de moeite waard voor het zicht! Onze gids was een super toffe vrouw die heel veel info gaf over Malta!

What you don't get from the pre-experience information is how many people will be there, how busy it will be, the rocky access, the difficulty in finding anywhere to sit if you're not actually going swimming. My ratings are based on the shortness of the visit (for the time we were there, it wasn't that bad), and the basics were good, the tour operators efficient and helpful.

Der Hafen Marsaxlokk mit den bunten Booten und auch die Bootsfahrt zur blauen Grotte waren sehr schön. Für den Markt war leider zu wenig Zeit eingeplant.

This was a good trip . There was plenty of time at the market. We couldn’t do the boat trip due to the weather but that couldn’t be helped . We saw the view of the grotto and were able to photograph it .

We bought this before we flew to Malta and discovered we could have paid 20 euros each instead of £27 had we booked with iSeeMalta on arrival. The trip was enjoyable, but the return journey involved a boring walking tour of the guide's village to reach the feeder coach back. It was a lovely calm day and the boats were running to the caves.

Het was heel, heel druk op de markt. De terrasjes langs de overkant waren wel een pluspunt. Bij de Blue Grotto waren we in de namiddag, maar voor de diepblauwe kleur te zien moet ge daar 's morgens vroeg zijn. Het bezoek aan het authentieke stadje Qrendi vond ik wel leuk en leerzaam.
