Les papillons sont les insectes les plus beaux et les plus délicats au monde. Au parc des papillons « Mariposario », vous découvrirez les nombreuses espèces exotiques qui volent en toute liberté au sein de ce parc et centre d'élevage spécialement conçu à cet effet.Le Mariposario de Benalmádena est l'un des plus grands parcs à papillons d'Europe. Il bénéficie d'un emplacement magnifique à côté d'un temple bouddhiste, avec vue sur la côte. Étant l'un des rares parcs à élever ses propres papillons, il abrite un grand nombre d'espèces provenant à la fois des Amériques et d'Asie. On y trouve également des tortues, des iguanes et même un wallaby.Des visites guidées régulières sont proposées, au cours desquelles le guide vous fera découvrir des informations fascinantes sur ces créatures envoûtantes. Apprenez et observez comment naît un papillon, admirez des papillons nocturnes rares et vivez l'expérience unique de voir plus de 1 500 papillons voleter autour de vous. De plus, des postes d'observation équipés de loupes vous permettent d'observer de très près le cycle de vie et les habitudes alimentaires de ces résidents.

Take your time to go round, it maybe small buy there are butterflies hidden everywhere. Staff are lovely too. Little cafe has nice snacks plus icecream. Gift shop has some really nice things in it.

My kids really loved the search sheets given out which stopped them from getting bored, the talk was great and informative and the gift shop was very affordable. Seen negative reviews about travel but was surprised how little it cost to get there, maybe 5€ each.. we used Uber but there is also a lovely tourist train in benalmadena marina which takes you there

We enjoyed the exotic plant life however if you are not staying very local and are using public transport we wouldn't recommend, it is very small and there were not many butterfly to see on the day we went , they did have a wallaby and across the road there was a beautiful Buddhist temple

The tickets were easy to book but we had to arrange he the travel which worked out costlier than the experience. I would be happy to include travel with the experience to make it seamless and hasslefree

The Butterfly Park is well presented, lots of useful interpretation about the lifecylce and conservation of butterflies. Staff incredibly helpful - the guide gave an informative talk in English and answered questioned, gave info 1:1 as we walked round. Incredible to have so many tropical butterflies flying all around you and the ability to take photos is limitless! Also so lovely rescued birds, and small mammals. Beautiful setting with stream, ponds and tropical foilage. Go early 10am when quiet.Also not on a sunny, hot day - cloudy & cool/windy is best to be inside the humid greenhouse. Nice gift shop, cafe and toilets.
