The river-strewn and mountainous landscape of Madeira makes it one of the best spots in Europe for the exciting sport of canyoning. On this professionally guided adventure, you'll rappel down 15-metre rock faces, scale huge boulders and leap into deep rock pools. This is the great outdoors Madeira style.Head deep into the mountains, arriving at the renowned Chão da Lagoa area of Funchal's Ecological Park, situated at 1,500 metres above sea level. Here, you'll don your wetsuit and helmet and receive detailed instruction on all the techniques and equipment required for your two-and-a-half-hour canyon scramble.Your expert guide will then bring you down a route that reflects your experience – all of which will be guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. You'll jump into watery lagoons, rappel rock faces and traverse crevasses on this renowned Madeira canyoning excursion – and enjoy the beauty of you natural surrounds.

Bring a towel, bathing gear, sport or running shoes that you don't mind getting wet and a change of clothes
To take part, the minimum age is 12 years, minimum height is 125cm and minimum weight is 25kg. The maximum height is 180cm, maximum weight is 115kg and maximum waist size is 120cm
You can hire canyoning boots for EUR 5 – they have soles designed for wet surfaces and increase safety and grip by 80%. Ask your rep for details
You'll need to confirm your height and weight when booking to get you the correct suit size

Die beiden Guides sind ein tolles Team. Locker, entspannt und dabei sehr professionell wurden wir von ihnen mit einem guten Equipment ausgestattet durch einen fantastischen Canyon geleitet. Das war ein Riesenspaß!

The staff were fab from the guy who picked me up, sorry I forgot his name!, but he gave me lots of info on the way, and then Felipe my personal guide. It was well explained and I was helped into the gear which wasnt easy to get on, and the canyoning itself was thrilling once I got over the nerves! Amazing experience traversing the waterfalls and rocks. Defo recommend for an exciting and memorable experience.

Empfehlung ???????????? Guides ???????????????????????????????????? Ein Top Ausflug Level 1 für Mutter und Jugendlichen Teenager. Ich könnte jetzt vieles schreiben, kurz geschrieben wer keine Höhenangat/ Wasserscheu ist, eine gesunde Fitness und Trittsicherheit besitzt, der sollte das definitiv in seine Urlaubswoche mit einplanen.. Absolut ein Abendteuer.. Die Guides haben ihr Herz ?? im Job und man fühlt sich sehr sicher. ???? Top Danke an den Guides und natürlich auch dem Team,Transfer.

Unsere beiden Guides haben uns jederzeit das Gefühl von Sicherheit und Wissen vermittelt, sodass wir uns das gesamte Erlebnis über sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Für die Tour muss man auf jeden Fall gut zu Fuß sein und keine Angst vor Höhe oder einem Sprung ins kalte Wasser haben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar gut. Für uns eines der Highlights unseres Urlaubs.

Das Canyoning hat großen Spaß gemacht. Für Anfänger leicht zu schaffen und die Hilfestellungen und Erklärungen der Guides waren sehr gut. Ein tolles Erlebnis!

Es gab für mich nur eine einzige Kleinigkeit die nicht ganz perfekt war, man musste sich im freien umziehen. Machar aber eben nicht ganz optimal. Insgesamt ein super ?Erlebnis auch für absolute anfänger geeignet. Super nette guides. Perfektes abenteuer. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.

Abholung vom Hotel, kleine Gruppe, komplette Ausrüstung, TOP-Guide, schöne Strecke mit Abseil-, Schwimm- und Rutschelementen, Entsprach alles meinen Wünschen. Auch die Betreuung ließ keine Wünsche offen.

De canyoing tocht is in een mooie omgeving. Nivo 1 is wel vrij eenvoudig. De gidsen waren aardig maar niet meer dan dat. Het is meer lopen dan in het water. Leuke activiteit. Na tocht mogelijkheid voor drankje bij blokhut.

When we arrived we were high up in the mountains so it was cold and rainy so getting changed outdoors wasn't fun but the rest of the experience was amazing! We walked through waterfalls, abseiling down mountains and plunge pools. The views were amazing and the guides were so helpful. We were given lots of photos to take home and the whole experience was a must when visiting Madeira, we as a family haven't stopped talking about how amazing it was- it made our holiday.

Die Aktivität an sich war sehr gut, die Guides und der Fahrer ebenso. Einzig von TUI bin ich enttäuscht bzgl. Beschreibung, Buchung und Kommunikation. Hierfür reichen aber die Zeichen in diesem Formular nicht aus.
