Cosa aspettarsi
Le pinete e le scogliere costiere del nord di Tenerife conferiscono all'isola un aspetto naturale e selvaggio, ma è il terreno vulcanico e fertile a rendere questa zona davvero speciale. Dai vigneti e dai frutteti alle piantagioni di banane e agli alberi secolari, in questo tour di mezza giornata potrete ammirare e assaporare le meraviglie locali di Tenerife.La prima tappa è Icod de los Vinos, una cittadina del XVI secolo con una splendida vista sul Monte Teide. Ma nemmeno la vetta più alta della Spagna riesce a rubare la scena al Drago Milenario, un albero del drago millenario che occupa un posto d'onore nei giardini botanici della città. Questo incredibile esemplare è alto oltre 20 metri e ha una chioma che si estende su oltre 300 rami principali. Durante la visita, la guida vi spiegherà perché questo albero autoctono è un simbolo culturale delle Canarie. A Icod de los Vinos, vedrete file di un altro tesoro della città che crescono lungo i pendii delle colline: le banane. Scoprite tutto sulla storia della coltivazione delle banane sull'isola e assaggiate il frutto appena raccolto, oltre a un dolce liquore alla banana.Successivamente, vi dirigerete verso est a La Orotava, una delle più antiche regioni vinicole delle Canarie, situata proprio ai margini del Parco Nazionale del Teide. Ammirerete il centro storico tradizionale con le sue strade acciottolate, i balconi in legno e gli edifici in ogni sfumatura di giallo e visiterete il Molino de Gofio, un mulino del XVII secolo dedicato al gofio, oggi trasformato in museo. Il museo illustra come viene prodotta la farina tostata e come viene utilizzata in ogni tipo di pietanza, dalla colazione alle zuppe e agli stufati, e avrete anche la possibilità di assaggiare questa prelibatezza delle Canarie dal sapore di nocciola.

Der Guide sollte seine Vorträge besser vorbereiten! Jeden Satz einzeln in jeder Sprache vorzutragen bringt weniger als die Geschichte komplett zu erzählen. Meistgebrauchter Ausdruck war 'Okay'. Dann ging es in der nächsten Sprache weiter. Unbefriedigend!

Guiden talte ikke klart blandede tysk, engelsk med spansk accent. Ikke nærværende overfor gruppen, havde ikke øjen kontakt med gruppen. Gik for det meste med ryggen til gruppen.

Leider war der Aufenthalt in Icod im Verhältnis zu Orotava viel zu kurz. Ich hätte mir hier wesentlich einen längeren Aufenthalt erwartet über Wein in Icod wurde überhaupt nichts erzählt bzw. gezeigt. Leider war der Guide nur sehr schwer verständlich weil er immer sehr schnell zwischen den Sprachen gewechsel hat, dass man mehr damit beschäftigt war welche Sprache gerade gesprochen wurde.

Vi beställde guide på engelska. Guiden talade bristfällig engelska. Påbörjade guidning på engelska och skiftade snabbt över till tyska vilket störde oss som ville ha info på engelska. Vi missade största delen av info om vad vi tittade på eftersom vi inte förstår tyska. Blev mycket rörigt. En STOR BESVIKELSE! Det enda positiva var att guiden gick I bra, långsam takt så att alla hängde med. Chauffören körde imellanåt alldeles för fort i kurvorna! Man hade hjärtat i halsgropen. Var rädd. Intebra

Nice half day tour and the guide was very informative. It was a mixed party of English and German and our guide did well to inform in both languages. At the first location there was far too much walking involved in a very hilly town which wasn't made clear in the tour description. Some older people on the tour struggled to keep up. The tour also mentions a visit to the famous tree but we only viewed it from a balcony above the site and didn't actually visit the grounds where the tree is.

Die Tour ist rundum gelungen. Die Ausflugsziele waren gut gewählt. Auch die Reiseleiterin hat sehr viel erzählt und einige weitere Fragen beantwortet. Die Sprache war deutlich ohne Kommunikations Schwierigkeiten. Die Tour selber ist gut zu bewältigen. Wichtig nur gut zu fuss zu sein, da es mit hanglage in ototava ziemlich steil ist. Rundum ein toller Ausflug. Der beste seid langem.

The tour guide took us on a walking tour of La Orotova taking us to Victoria garden and then onto Hijuela del Botanico and then onto the Museu Molino de Gofio del Hoyo. The museum was very interesting and we got to sample some wine and some gofio. We then went on to Icod de los Vinos where we saw the dragon tree and then visited Casa del Platano where we sampled the bananas and also some banana wine. Overall a very enjoyable tour with a wide variety of places to visit. Very informative guide.

Bitte vormerken, dass bei diesem Ausflug einige Meter zu laufen sind. Festes Schuhwerk wäre ratsam. Die angegebenen Snacks sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftiges Gefro, ein Glas Wein und eine Banane....Ansonsten sehr informativ und viel Geschichte

Miguel war ein super Reiseführer mit sehr viel Wissen über die Städte. Nicht verständlich war für mich, dass 3 Kinder am Ausflug teilgenommen haben, da dieser doch als Adult (12+) gekennzeichnet war, was für mich ein Auswahlkriterium war. Die Kinder waren offensichtlich jünger!

Unser Guide Miguel war sehr kompetent und hat uns die ganze Zeit über viele Informationen gegeben. Es war alles sehr gut organisiert und die Zeit die wir in der Mühle sowie Plantage hatten war ausreichend. Man hatte nicht das Gefühl von A nach B hetzen zu müssen. Einzig das der Ausflug zweisprachig auf Deutsch und Englisch durchgeführt wird kann evrntuell etwas störend sein. Für mich war das aber kein Problem. Alles in allem war es ein sehr kurzweiliger und empfehlenswerter Ausflug.

Wir haben noch eine Wanderung durch die Stadt gemacht und der Reiseführer hat seinen Job echt gut gemacht Bei der Bananenplantage konnten wir dann Bananenlikör, cremigen Bananenlikör, Bananenwein , und natürlich auch Bananen probieren
