Excellent
Alles in Allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Hin-und Rückreise ist, natürlich örtlich bedingt, ziemlich lang und dadurch anstrengend. Aber man bekommt einen guten Eindruck über die normalen afrikanischen Verhältnisse und das soll ja auch so sein.

The tortoise reserve was fascinating, great to see the 110 year old Nelson and a 10 day old baby. The information about conservation was really interesting and the guide did a great job of translating what the reserve guide was telling us. Great place full of trees, flowers, birds. Lovely time. Our time at the Pink lake was also fascinating and lunch there was really good. The jeep ride in the sand dunes was a bit hairy but fun, the beach views were beautiful and also saw some wild camels!

Turtle farm was just wonderful, the lake a jeep trip very adventurous with great scenery, lovely lunch at beautiful local place right on the lake. The driver was amazing and the guide looked after us perfectly!

Alleen het vervoer met het busje was matig erg lawaaierige lange rit. De tocht door de zandduinen in Dakar werd uitgevoerd met een terrein wagen die zeer slecht was.Onderweg gestopt om water bij te vullen. De wagen viel nog net niet uit elkaar net als wij.

Het is schandalig om het roze meer in het programma te zetten, het is helemaal niet roze meer, wel zeer lekker gegeten, voor de rest was de jeep tocht een avontuur op zich, niet altijd even veilig.

Het was in het frans, hij stond er een beetje onzeker bij de gids vertaalde het voor ons in het engels. Perfect leuk om te zien maar schildpadden beet houden hoeft voor mij niet, laat ze gewoon zitten waar ze zitten!

We loved the tortoise sanctuary, the trip to lake retba was OK, only a short time there, then the trip over the sand dunes fir lunch was fun, however after left lunch left for 40 minutes in the sun as the trucks hadn't returned for us, then we finally got back to the coach everyone just wanted to leaves which made the locals very angry and tried to attack the guide and bus driver in order to stop us leaving extremely scary other people in our group dragged the guys back on the bus

Die Schildkrötenfarm kann man sich ansehen, der Rote See ist leider blau und sieht eben aus, wie andere Seen auch.
