Lakes, waterfalls, volcanic springs – central São Miguel is a natural wonderland made for exploring by 4x4. This off-road safari scours between the north and south coasts. Kick off on a high at Pico da Barrosa viewpoint, which overlooks Lake Fogo. Then check out Salto do Cabrito waterfall before rounding off the tour in the town of Ribeira Grande.

Top excursie. Zoveel mooie plaatsen gezien, waar je met de bus niet kan komen. Zeer toffe gids die ons veel wist te vergroven de omgeving. Een aanrader!

Met jeep offroad was super. Mooi uitzicht over rhe lake off fire. 1e keer was geen zicht, maar zijn aan einde van de tour teruggegaan, gids zag dat de wolken wegtrokken en we zijn weer omhoog gereden, prachtig. Botanische tuin was prachtig met de warmwaterbronnen. Konden niet in de bron, was volgeboekt, maar dat gaf niet. Naar de watervallen geweest. Heerlijke ochtend.

De fogo lag smorgens in de wolken. Algemeen bekend is dat je smorgens ook niets aan uitzicht zal zien. Gelast de toer dan af en geef de klant dan de mogelekheid om om te boeken. Leuk die andere punten op de toer maar daar kom je niet voor. Kortom voor ons een tegenvallende tour.

De uitstappen waren goed alleen mochten ze voor ons soms wat later starten. Bv eens een namiddag weg ipv voormiddag. 2x meer dan 2uur vlucht vertraging was er net iets teveel aan

De bus kwam later dan er in de tui app werd aangegeven. We moesten ruim een kwartier wachten en tui had geen directe lijn voor meer informatie met de reisleiding op locatie.
