Così vicine eppure così lontane. La Corsica e la Sardegna sono come due fratelli che si sono trasferiti in paesi diversi e sono separati non solo dal mare ma anche dalla cultura. Questa gita di un giorno alla città di Bonifacio, situata sulla scogliera nel sud della Corsica, è il modo ideale per conoscere la regione più selvaggia della Francia.Dopo un viaggio in auto verso il nord della Sardegna per prendere il traghetto a Santa Teresa, farete la traversata di 50 minuti. Costruito in modo preciso su scogliere alte 70 metri, il porto di Bonifacio, simile a un fiordo, è un vero spettacolo. Si salirà su un minitreno per raggiungere il centro prima di effettuare una visita guidata di questa cittadella vertiginosa con vicoli stretti. Una pausa per il pranzo e poi tempo libero nel pomeriggio.Passeggiando per le stradine acciottolate, seguirete le orme del figlio più famoso della Corsica, Napoleone, che proprio da qui progettò l'invasione della Sardegna. Cercate oggetti d'antiquariato, artigianato e gioielli nei negozi che oggi riempiono le antiche case, oppure scendete al porto per osservare il via vai degli yacht.

Not informed how long we'd have to travel for. Coach like a sauna. The guides headphones were awful and couldn't hear well enough. Nothing to do with TUI but Corsicans are rude,unfriendly and stuck up

We were collected from our hotel by an Italian driver we were expecting the guide. We called the help number on TUI and was told to get on the boat the guide will meet us in Corsica. We were denied boarding as we didn’t have tickets. I was calling back the help desk when a coach full of people arrived with the guide saying he had been looking for us. This misinfo was stressful. Bonifacio and the guide were amazing would recommend the trip if you can sort out the admin

The booking was cancelled less than 24 hrs before it was due to start, which didn’t give us enough time to book an alternative excursion. Which we thought was not acceptable as we were really looking forward to this trip and it was booked well in advance.

We were given incorrect information about the travel time. We were told it was one hour twenty minutes to the ferry and it was over two hours. That meant we spent four and a half hours on the coach and two hours on the ferry which was just far too much and didn’t leave us nearly as much time in Corsica as we had expected You should give correct information in the beginning Also we felt it was very expensive for what it was

We enjoyed ferry across & tour of town with guide. We found the coach trip back too much with traffic 2.5 hours as opposed to around 2 hours there - albeit only 30 mins longer but at the end of a day it amounts to a trip from 7am - 8.30pm however it is worth the experience and if the trip had shorten time in Corsica the value for money would be not so good. One other thing that would help is our hotel had 24 guests but we had to stop twice for others which adds 30 mins so maybe smaller coaches.

Trip was well organised - all the pickups and meet up points went smoothly. Guide was fantastic. Corsica itself was beautiful. The tour, although rushed, was useful to orientate us. Free time was just about right. Would have been nice to have had a light lunch or at least some drinks included.

Fahrt nach Korsika war rund um sehr gut organisiert, Busfahrt sowie Überfahrt mit Fähre und der Bahn nach oben auf die Feste war sehr gut alles okay. Mängel muss ich der Gastronomie im Hafenbereich beanstanden, keiner wollte Englisch oder Deutsch verstehen aber man hat ein Handy dann ging es schnell. Reiseleiter war auch sehr nett, beantwortet jede Frage auch in deutsch.

Let’s get one thing straight, Corsica is a must! We were blown away by its beauty! The ferry crossing was fantastic. Antonello our guide was incredibly insightful. Drawback - a two hour bus ride from our hotel with no air con on the way there was too much. The travel time wasn’t communicated before the trip. Maybe that was the point, who knows. I’ll give it a 9/10 for the one reason - the bus!

The guide was excellent, although the radios provided to listen to him were poor. Too much interference, rendered the radios useless. In addition we had to collect the radios from a petrol station en route? Surely they should have been on the bus? The bus driver was excellent. The bus ....the chairs (40%) were broken, kept reclining, even if you, didn't t want them too. A/C barely worked, bus was too hot!

It was a great trip to a beautiful place but the rep should have been clearer about the length of the coach journey being nearly 2.5 hours each way and was difficult as early start and we were told by rep in resort to take snacks and the rep on the day said we could not eat on the coach !!

Absolutely lovely destination and amazing to walk around the old city. What wasn't good, was the journey to St Theresa ferry? We were picked up on time, then literally dumped at a lorry park next to a petrol station and told to wait for the coach. 20 minutes later, having stood in the sun, the coach turned up to take us onward. Fast forward to the return trip exactly the same happened, the guide wasn't interested in waiting for us to get picked up, he again abandoned us. Guide was average,

Excursie kon alleen on-line geboekt worden omdat TUI geen hostess naar het hotel stuurde waar wij verbleven. De enige concrete informatie was de ophaaltijd. Daarbij stond over de prijs dat de excursie vanaf 110 euro p.p. kostte, maar ik kon 145 euro p.p. aftikken. Nadat ik geboekt had kreeg ik een kortingscode waar ik natuurlijk niets meer aan had. Neemt niet weg dat de excursie zelf zeer de moeite waard is.

Fantastic day out, the tour guide was welcoming and very informative. Giving us information about the island on the fairly long drive to the ferry port. The free time in Corsica was just right. Enough to see and do stuff without taking too long. Excellent.

We spent 6.5 hours on a coach/boat wrapped around only 3 hours in Corsica. This was never explained to us, and when we told our rep about it, she kind of shrugged, although she totally understated the travelling time. Corsica was amazing, just felt comms from TUI team was poor.

Corsica was a beautiful place to visit, shame about all the delays and waiting about. Lots to improve on from stopping to pick up equipment, radios that only worked if you were just a few yards away. Broken seats on the coach. Late pick up, waiting around at both sides for more than 90 minutes each way. Not very relaxing at all, very stressful and wouldn’t recommend, 13 hour day, stop starting and waiting about for most of it. Definitely not value for money. Cancelled second trip we booked.

Fabulous trip... beautiful location. A little bemused why we had to leave at 7am for 11.20 ferry departure. We really didn't need the stop at the town...give us more time in Corsica instead!

Our guide was absolutely great...very knowledgeable and kept the day going. Corsica was lovely and well worth seeing because of the history and amazing landscape. We found it quite expensive overall. There was a fair amount of waiting around for the ferry and train so it is a long day. Nevertheless we really enjoy the trip thank you

Great trip. Bonifacio is an amazing town, with an incredible harbour. The old town is a spectacle, with wonderful views. Our guide, Titian, was fantastic. It’s a long day, but well worth it.

The travel to the port was much further than we were told so lots of time sat on the bus. The guide, Antonio, was excellent, though the radio reception was intermittent. A good mix of guided tour time and free time in beautiful Corsica. Even thr ferry crossing was scenic and enjoyable!

Antonello Is a great guide. Well versed in many languages he was able to help different guests with different languages. Knew a lot a about the region and it's origins as well as knew how to make us feel welcome and safe with him. The trip to get there and back is quite long so the actual time in Bonifacio is quite short for the ones who like to wander around. However, it's still worthwhile.

I think when booking the point should be made clear to take drinks water for the journey it’s a long coach journey. However it’s worth it that’s the hardest bit the ferry is good can get food stay on upper decks or in the air conditioned area. An extremely hot day and a young youth was sick coach did not have a sick bag and the driver was not to happy. Tour guide was good stopped the coach the air conditioning was not working to well. The tour guide was excellent and Corsica worth it.

The whole day was brilliant. The guide was so well informed and gave us a run down of the Northern part of Sardinia as we passed through each town . When we arrived in Corsica again the information given to us was second to none . All in all such a fantastic day out and well worth it

Die Organisation an sich war in Ordnung, das Einzige was komisch war, ist das wir eine Stunde vor der Abfahrt nach Sardinien schon im Hafen sein mussten, diese Wartezeit hätte man aus unserer Sicht vielleicht auf 30-40Minuten kürzen können. Aber vielleicht hat man da schon andere Erfahrungen gemacht und es geht nicht anders... Die Reise an sich würde ich aber nicht nochmal unternehmen, weil die Nettozeit von 3-4 Stunden auf Korsika nicht in Relation zu insgesamt 8 Stunden Fahrzeit steht.

Fantastic trip. The guide Antonella was fabulous. He was friendly and organised. He was very knowledgeable about Bonifacio. He took us around the main points of interest and made sure we all felt comfortable to make our way around the old town and the marina. Everything ran like clockwork and we had the right amount of time to spend exploring ourselves. Enjoying the shops an a fantastic meal. I woul recommend this trip to anyone stayin in Sardinia. Great taster of Corsica.

Brilliant day in a beautiful place. Accept you have circa 2 hours on a coach (each way) - if that is a problem just don't book it and moan afterwards. 50 mins each way on the ferry which is pleasant with all of the yachts and small boats you'll see. Food was lush and reasonably priced and our guide was a Sardinian local who was knowledgeable and engaging. A great, but long, day and certainly value for money.

Did not know the trip between both islands was a car ferry, and first one hof cancelled. Guide wasnt exactly helpful when this happened when you consider cost for 4 people and time lost as a result. Corsica is a wonderful place to visit, buf train uo the mountain is not a train so make this clear in future. On return home coach schedule was changed to fit the guides requirements so we were even later back. Not acceptable as guide should be on until the end. Still worth seeing corsica though

Corsica was stunning. We enjoyed the little train ride and the guide was very informative and helpful giving us the history of bonifaccio and how to find our way around the town. The ferry in the morning arrived an hour later than originally planned. This was due to only one ferry in service instead of two. This reduced our 5 hrs in Corsica to 4. Our guide was quick to show us around so that we could still have our free time.. It was a shame as we could have seen more if we had the extra hour.

Die Abholung in Baja Sardinia erfolgte etwa 30 min. später. Dann wurden wir mit einem Kleinbus zu einer Tankstelle gefahren, wo wir nochmals ca. 15 min. auf den eigentlichen Bus warten mussten. Ursache war wohl der Verkehr in Olbia. Aber so ganz ohne Info, wo man doch seine Daten bei Buchung angegeben hat. Verbesserungswürdig. Ansonsten war es ein sehr schöner Tagesausflug

Going to corsica was great and the little train wasgood the was hard to hear what was going on at times and she thought we lost 2 people on the way home so was delayed just felt we could have more for the money as a few people said on the tour ie a meal for lunch or drinks as it was hot otherwise a nice tour

Well organised trip. Knowledgeable guide, Veronica. Luxury coach. Time on own in Corsica. We booked on line in the UK for this trip to start at 07.10. The trip start time was changed to 07.45. We were not informed of the later start so left waiting for 45 mins. If it had been moved earlier we would have missed the trip. Locally booked guests had the new time. Even the confirmation e mail reminder the day before still showed the original start time and not the new time.

A bit expensive considering the only thing included was the travel. However, it was a lovely day and it was lovely to see another Island. The tour was long enough but the group was a bit big and therefore it was hard to keep up with all the information. By the time the back of the group caught up, the guide had finished and had moved on. Saying that, it was an enjoyable day

The guide was friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. The Corsica harbour and town were fascinating. We were asked to be back at the Corsica harbour for return to Sardinia an hour before departure. I think half an hour would have been better as not many comfortable places to sit and wait. Very uncomfortable in hot sunshine especially for the elderly.

Our guide was very knowledgeable & took us to the main points of interest to see. He was able to make sure we had time to ourselves as well. It could be helpful if he wore a TUi hat or lanyard to help us identify our guide quickly in crowds.

Ein wunderschöner, wenn auch langer Tagesausflug, der sich aber absolut lohnt. Schon die Überfahrt nach Korsika bereitet Freude und der Anblick von Bonifacio, bei Einfahrt in den Hafen, ist ein Traum. Ein bezauberndes Städtchen mit ganz viel Charme und tollen Ausblicken. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben war auch unser Guide. Er hat uns ganz toll durch den Tag geführt und uns dennoch genug Zeit für eigene Erkundungen gegeben. Rundherum ein ganz toller Ausflug!!!

The day trip to Corsica was great. Our guide was excellent and was very helpful and knowledgeable. My complaint is that Tui didn’t organise enough day trips. The rep’s weren’t well informed about bus services etc.I also found the rep’s to be slightly impatient when we were seeking directions or information about meeting points etc.. I think Tui should have made some effort to arrange more day trip’s as there were enough people on holiday in Sardinia to be catered for.

De gids was in de bus niet duidelijk waar we om 1u precies moeten zijn (gezien er meerdere stations zijn voor de trein) hierdoor hebben veel mensen half uur verspeeld met de gids zoeken die foetsie was. Op terugweg ging het mis dat we na reizen en wachten van 40min dat de boot stuk was (al heel de dag) en dat we ander boot moeten hebben 2u later. Ander boot kwam later dan gepland en onboarden duurde langer. Hierdoor pas om 11u kunnen eten ipv 8u. Hierdoor was de dag meerendeel een waiting game.
