Delving deep into Crete's rural landscape will bring you closer to real island life. You'll venture off-road to sleepy villages such as Palaia Roumata and Deres, have lunch in a traditional taverna and drive through spectacular towering gorges, canyons and leafy mountain valleys.Hop aboard your 4x4 for the day and kick-start the morning with a drive along the base of Lefka Ori mountain and through Therissos canyon where dense trees and falling springs punctuate the views to the village of Therissos. Here you'll enjoy a wander around to stretch your legs before heading further into the mountains to Laki for a traditional ‘frappe' coffee break.Afterwards, we'll head off-road along dusty roads to Deres and a taverna located under the shade of trees and next to a bubbling spring for a typical lunch. We'll push on with our adventure to reach the village of Palea Roumata where you'll be able to soak up the spectacular views. After that you'll head through Mesavlia gorge – a little-known natural gem – for a photo opportunity on your way back to the hotel.

Beschrijving excursie klopt niet helemaal met wat we kregen, normale duurtijd meer dan 8 uur en na 5,5u waren we al terug in hotel. Er was een gewone wagen (Hyundai i20) mee met 2 koppels in ipv een jeep en die kon ons ook offroad volgen tot zover de moeilijkheidsgraad van het off-road gedeelte. Positief : lekkere maaltijd en leuke gidsen

Mooie tocht met de Safari jeep , mijn vrouw en ik hadden een jeep voor ons alleen , de andere koppels zaten bij de gids in een super grote jeep , de tocht door de bergen vergt toch wat stuurkunst ,en is niet echt zonder gevaar , gelukkig is mijn vrouw een zeer goede bestuurder en ik een goede navigator ?? , de lunch in een typisch bergrestaurantje , was gezellig , het eten was zeer goed , en het uitzicht prachtig , een fijn moment om met de andere koppels kennis re maken ...Onze gids was top ...

De gids was alleen de Engelse taal machtig, toch was er voorzien van nederlands. De gids was wel op en top, zeer mooie rondleiding gekregen. Dus dikke proficiat aan de gids.

Meerdere jeepsafari’s gedaan. Deze komt in het rijtje van standaard. Niet heel spectaculair. Alleen 2 wiel gereden over deels onverharde bergwegen. Het uitzicht was mooi. De gids zit in de eerste jeep en rij je daar in mee verteld hij je veel over de omgeving. Ben je volgend dan krijg je niets te horen. Communicatie zou beter kunnen/moeten.

War ein super Ausflug, haben viel gesehen von Kreta, hauptsächlich das Hinterland in den Bergen. 3 Pausen wurden gemacht und Mittagessen in einer heimischen Taverne echt lecker und sehr freundlich. Abseits der Straßen ein kleines Abenteuer. Danke

Bonjour, Où est la sécurité de vos clients ? En effet, lors de cette excursion, on nous a demandé de prendre le volant d’un véhicule sans demander le permis de conduire et de conduire sur des chemins de montagne dégradés et dangereux, j’ai refusé.
