Formentera is Ibiza's idyllic island escape. There are no highrise hotels and locals zip from one beach to another on scooters. On this trip, you'll take the comfortable fast ferry over to visit Sant Francesc, Es Mirador lookout and the stunning beach of Es Pujols, all at a pace in keeping with the laidback island vibes. Toni, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘From the Mirador viewpoint you can see the whole island, which is shaped a bit like a seahorse. On the left you'll see playa Mitjorn – it is said that this is Bob Dylan's favourite beach. He used to get his nightcap from the beach kiosk there.'Catch the fast ferry from Ibiza to Formentera, and our first stop is Sant Francesc, the quaint little island capital. The hub of the village is undoubtedly the main square, Plaça de la Constitució, fringed with vibrant cafes and restaurants. On warm days, the square is usually thronged with locals and visitors making it a top spot to people-watch and soak up the relaxed island atmosphere. Look out for the 18th century church of Church of Sant Francesc Xavier, which is the essence of simplicity.Next up are the epic views from Es Mirador, the island's highest point, and the iconic La Mola lighthouse. And last but by no means least, you'll have free time in the seaside village of Es Pujols. Here you can enjoy lunch at a beachside restaurant or just chill out on the silky sands lapped by turquoise waves. It's a scene that wouldn't look out of place in the south Pacific.

Pepe the guide was very informative. Would have liked a further 30 mins at the beach & more shopping time at the capital but that would have meant we needed to catch a later ferry you have 6 hours on the actual island.

Wir haben mit einem Kleinkind (2 Jahre) an der Tour teilgenommen. Die Tour ist nicht für Kleinkinder ausgelegt. Die Abfahrtszeiten und Stopps berücksichtigen bspw. keine normalen Mittagszeiten. Vom Tour Guide im Hotel wurde schnellere Anreise zur Insel versprochen. Durch diverse Stopps bei anderen Hotels hat dir An/Abreise zu/von Formentera genauso lange gedauert wie mit der normalen langsamen Fähre. Jedoch war die TUI Tour wesentlich teuerer.

Uns hat es für einen kurzen Ausflug nach Formentera super gefallen . Hat alles perfekt geklappt . Wir wollten die Insel mal besuchen , um zu entscheiden ob wir dort auch Urlaub machen wollen . Es ist schon sehr wahr , das die Strände Karibik Flair haben . Der weiße Sand und das türkisfarbene Meer ??. Wow . Wir können diesen Ausflug sehr empfehlen .

Transfer/Pick up instructions for both outward and return journeys very misleading. Some confusion between Guide and bus company. Would have preferred to hear more of the history of Formentera than its weather. However, its a beautiful island to visit with a gorgeous beach and turquoise sea.

Rückweg war keine Fast Ferry sondern eine Autofähre. Die Wartezeit bis die Fast Ferry (Hinweg) ankam und dann letztendlich ablegte war zu lang - fast 1 Std.. Diese Zeit fehlte dann insbesondere im ersten Ort „San Francisco“. Dort hätte man statt 40 Minuten etwa 1:15 Std. haben müssen. Busfahrer und Reiseleiter waren sehr gut.

Good trip. Would have been nice to make a stop at the lake and salt pans. Again there was confusion with the pick up. We waited at the main road junction while the bus went to the hotel. Why say the junction in the voucher? It is inconvenient for both clients and driver.

Sehr schöne Tour, das einzige negative war die Bootsfahrt. Man hätte schon mal erwähnen können das diese sehr ruppig ist. Laut dem Guide ist das normal gewesen heute. Bei der Hinfahrt mussten sich einige übergeben und bei der Rückfahrt fast in jeder Reihe einer!

From start to finish this trip was amazing. Pick up from the hotel is always a godsend, especially when staying in some off the more remote parts of the island & was efficient/ on time. The transfer to the Ferry & onto Formentera was well executed. Our guide Pepe was amazing & the knowledge he shared whilst travelling around was superb, couldn't have wished for a better guide. All the locations visited were well worth the visit. We got some beautiful pics & interesting stories. Don't miss out

When asking staff at the hotel when we would be back they said between 4 and 5 but we got back just before 7 and had to miss our booking at the Italian restaurant. The tour guide said the best beaches were totally he north of the island but we went elsewhere which was strange but I guess it was a time saving.

Unkomplizierte Buchung bei TUI Reiseleitung im Hotel. Schnelle Umsetzung und zuvorkommend beim Buchungsvorgang. Perfekte Organisation und Pünktliche Abholung. Genug Zeit zur freien Verfügung bei den einzelnen Stationen. Tourguide sehr freundlich und hat stets alles im Überblick, sehr ortskundig. Toller Ausflug für Familien , sehr empfehlenswert.

Es war ein toller Ausflug und hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Es war alles sehr gut organisiert, wir sind vom Hotel abgeholt und an der Fähre von unserem Reiseführer empfangen worden. Der Guide war super nett und konnte uns während des Ausflugs auf Formentera in der kurzen Zeit sehr viel von der Insel zeigen und erzählen. Es war sehr interessant. Die Rückfahrt war ebenfalls perfekt. Wir können diesen Ausflug nur weiterempfehlen, das lohnt sich wirklich :)

The tour itself was very good, however we were mis-sold the trip by one of the TUI reps at our hotel. We were told that we would be back at the hotel latest by 5:30pm, and we were not back until gone 7pm. This really wasn’t ideal with a 2 year old with us (TUI rep said it was family friendly) and quite frankly over shadowed the trip. If it was down to traffic, or something else out of the staff’s control, we would be more understanding but it simply wasn’t.

Wir wurden um 8:45 Uhr am Hotel abgeholt und konnten erst um 10:30 Uhr die Fähre nehmen, da wir noch auf einen anderen Bus warten mussten. Es wäre schön, wenn das etwas besser organisiert werden könnte. Auf Formentera hätte ich gerne etwas mehr Zeit am Strand verbracht.

The tour was much longer than the estimated time of 4-6 hours, which was fine with us. We left hotel at 8.35am & got back to hotel 7pm. No food, drinks or snacks are provided, which we knew, I just think it’s very wise to let people know to be out a lot longer than 6 hours. The day was lovely & Fermentura is a beautiful island. Definitely worth the trip.

Man bekommt einen kleinen Eindruck der Insel. Natürlich sehr getimet und routiniert. Dennoch sehr netter Guide. Strand am Ende war schön aber auch sehr voll.

Die ganze Insel ist superschön. Wurde durch Pepe alles gut erklärt während der fahrt, vor sllem nicht nur in Englisch sondern auch deutsch. Zum Abschluss hätten wir uns gerne nich kurz die Hafengegend angesehen und Fotos gemacht. Mussten aber gleich ans Schiff zur Rückfahrt. Aber es war ein super Ausflug mit tollen Zielen der Insel.

This excursion is over subscribed. The ferry is very busy and I just felt like I had been processed. The island is beautiful but the tour seems rushed and it was very difficult to find toilet facilities. The tour guide did his best but it was hard to hear was he was saying due to his accent. Be warned you’ll feel very tired at the end of this tour.

A long day with not very long at the beautiful beach at the end due to the amount of stops with no food so when you actually did arrive at the beach you have to get some food that took ages to arrive so only really had 20mins on the beach

This tour we enjoyed. We saw enough of the island, our guide Pepe gave us lots of interesting facts and kept us well informed of instructions. The biggest town was lovely, easy to navigate and interesting with a touch of history. The cliff and lighthouse was beautiful. The highest peak was fab. The only negative was that it's a very long day and we weren't aware of how long until we were there. Pick up 9am and drop off at 6.20pm. I would have liked less time at the beach and get back sooner.

Gefallen hat uns die perfekte Organisation des Ausflugs, die schönen Fahrten mit der Fähre und die herrliche Rundfahrt auf Formentera mit Stopps zur freien Verfügung. Nicht so schön sind die langen Transferzeiten vom Hotel nach Ibiza-Stadt und die recht große Reisegruppe (Voller Bus). Daher recht wenig individuelle Informationen durch den Guide. Insgesamt waren wir ca. 11 Stunden unterwegs. Alles in Allem war es aber ein lohnendes Erlebnis.

Wir fanden das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas teuer. Zudem hat uns der längere Aufenthalt in Es Pujoles nur mittelmäßig gefallen. Wir hätten lieber den langen Strand der Landzunge gesehen (z.B. Playa ses Illetes). Dennoch ist Formentera eine sehr schöne Insel und wir würden es weiterempfehlen.

Overall trip was good beautiful island. Although didn’t like the wait in the car park for our coach because driver had forgotten to pick up some passengers and that meant they missed the ferry and therefore the English speaking guests had to wait for our coach before we could continue the trip

Der Transfer vom Hotel bis Formentera hat nicht geklappt. Fahrer vom Mercedes- Transporter hat nicht am Treffpunkt gewartet, hat uns am Hafen raus gelassen und ist weggefahren. Keine Information. Dann haben wir den TUI Mitarbeiter gefunden, der uns Tickets gegeben hat. In Formentera haben wir wieder ewig gesucht, bis wir den TUI Mitarbeiter gefunden haben.
