A chance to explore the rustic side of Cyprus. On this family-friendly tour, you'll discover the remote Xeros valley on the back of a donkey. Pass through picturesque orange groves and quaint villages as you and your trusted donkey amble to the historic Sinti Monastery. You'll also taste local specialities and enjoy a performance of traditional music and dancing.Your laid-back adventure kicks off at Argonaftis donkey farm in Kelokedara. Here, you'll experience Cypriot hospitality at its best. Savour local favourites, including halloumi cheese and – if you're brave enough – zivania fire-water.After instruction, you'll hop on to your donkey and head slowly – or ‘siga, siga' as the locals say – up the Xeros valley to the 16th century Sinti Monastery. The complex fell into disrepair and abandonment but is back to its original best after an award-winning restoration. Then, back at the farm, you'll round off the experience with a barbecue meal, washed down with wine. There'll be traditional music and dancing, too.

Good price for whole experience. However, As the kids were over 12 but under 18, the free drinks could have included a fruit juice so they could have more than water to drink without paying extra.

We both really enjoyed the afternoon/ evening excursion. The guide was very informative during the bus ride. All the different parts such as donkey ride, chicken truck ride, monastery visit , traditional Greek food and dancing made for a really fun time. Thank you!!

The overall experience was great the setting was really nice with outstanding views the monastery was a lovely place again with outstanding views the traditional dancers were really good and included everyone a great experience the food was traditional and nice the drinks were ok but they didn’t include beer this was extra so if you didn’t like wine you had to pay for a beer other than that it was a lovely experience

Het was een super leuke en gezellige trip. Heerlijk eten en drinken. Wij gingen heen op het ezeltje, (mijn zoontje van 6 bij mij voorop) en de terugreis met een oude bus over een hobbelig pad. Mijn zoontje vond het geweldig. Als tussenstop hebben we daar een oude kerk bezocht met wat lokaal fruit en een drankje. In de avond een leuke show en de mogelijkheid om te dansen. Rond 23:00 waren we terug bij het hotel. Erg gezellig allemaal!

Opas puhuu vain Puolaa. Retken pääkieli on puola, vaikka mainoksessa lukee englanti. Farmilla henkilökunta puhuu vähän englantia.

De activiteiten was top de bus rit een flop de gids kon geen Engels of toch weinig heel de rit in Pools gesproken dus wij verstonden niets en dat is zeer vervelend
