In questa escursione di un'intera giornata visiterete le rovine dell'antica Butrinto, pranzerete e godrete di tempo libero a Saranda.Il tour inizia con una visita a Butrinto, sito dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO. Tutti, dai Greci ai Romani fino agli Ottomani, hanno lasciato la loro impronta su questa antica città. Passeggiare tra le sue rovine è come sfogliare le pagine di un libro di storia vivente. Tra i punti di maggiore interesse figurano l'anfiteatro e il tempio.Una passeggiata nel bosco fino alla fortezza veneziana sulla collina vi regalerà una splendida vista sul parco nazionale e sulle zone umide circostanti. Successivamente, vi dirigerete verso il borgo di Karanxh per un pranzo a buffet. Infine, avrete un'ora di tempo libero per esplorare Saranda prima di tornare a Corfù.

The guide needs to have more awareness about the capabilities of the guests and their walking speeds. We were left behind quite a few times! I think it needs to be made clear as well that there is a LOT of walking and it really needs to be emphasised.

Just to get your attention… the admin for our booking was not done well.. E.G. the pick up driver did not have us on his list …nor did the reception ladies on the ferry . Booked via Tui rep but not communicated to all parties involved… It was sorted as we went and Albanian was fine , but the experience was unsettling … even with though I had a screenshot of my booking to show … That’s all..

Only down side is the tour guides when guiding around ruins etc need to have ear pieces supplied to be able to hear the commentary properly. Fast track through customs would be good.

The group size for 1 English guide felt too big and we could have spent more time in the Heritage site and been given free time there. The meal was disappointing and I have had much better on these types of tours in the past. I would have been better to be a local restaurant serving Albanian cuisine so we could have experienced that we did it but would not do it again

Passage through customs both ends was long. Time spent at each venue could have been distributed better. Lunch was hardly long enough for everyone to queue and finish their food. Trip along promenade was short. Did not give people opportunity to look at what was on offer to purchase to help Albanian economy!

Es ist ein sehr schöner Tagestrip um mehr über Land und Leute zu erfahren. Alles das ist durch unseren Guide sehr gut erklärt worden. Leider ist die Zeit für die An und Abfahrt im Verhältnis sehr hoch. Trotz alle dem ist der Ausflug immer eine Empfehlung wert.

Abholung vom Kontokali Bay Resort war für 7.50 Uhr angesetzt,der Fahrer kam um 8.16 Uhr! Eine Erklärung, gar eine Entschuldigung habe ich nicht bekommen. Aus angeblich technischen Gründen wurde die Rückfahrt um knapp 1 Stunde früher als vorgesehen durchgeführt. Der Ablauf der Gesamtreise war ansonsten ok.

Absolutely superb guide. The archaeology was fascinating although it was quite tough going. The timing of the boat back to Corfu was brought forward an hour which was a shame as we would have liked more time to explore Sarande. The lunch was ok but we would have preferred to get our own in Sarande.

This day trip was very disappointing.. from stopping at the hotel where it was clearly pushed for commission & them telling us that we’d have a snack which we thought was included to then be told by the hotel we didn’t pay for the snack.. The tour guide we had on this day was extremely inconsiderate to elderly, less mobile people.. rushing & leaving people behind & then having the cheek of asking for a tip at the end! Minimal time exploring Albania town & overall disappointing trip

The driver who picked us up in the morning didn’t have functional seat belts in the rear of the car. Guide very good informative and entertaining. Drive going back took 2 and a half hours. The day was mostly travelling which made it unecessarily tiring

Trip well organised and our Guide very knowledgeable and interesting. Hotel for coffee and lunch ok but drinks and pastries were expensive. Hotel would only take cash no cards accepted after being informed that they would accept cards. Bus driver’s excellent too. A good trip and would recommend.

On perd beaucoup de temps à ramasser plusieurs clients dans différents hôtels alors que le bateau part à 9h depuis le port de Corfou. Une fois arrivé en Albanie, les consignes pour trouver son bus et le guide n'est pas la plus claire (bus sans clim). Le gros point noir reste la restauration à midi à l'hôtel Méditerrané avec des serveurs douteux qui réclament le paiement en cash avec l'absence de tarifs affiché sur la carte. En revanche, les visites en Albanie valent le coup. Mitigé au final.

Auch dieser Ausflug hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Das Einzige was etwas Schade war, war der Zeitfaktor. Wir hätten gern etwas mehr Zeit gehabt. Schließlich sind wir nicht mehr die Jüngsten. Aber ..... alles gut.

De bus was oud en versleten. De chauffeur was haastig en zeer onvriendelijk. De reisbegeleiding die pas bij de haven / douane in bus kwam was ook niet vriendelijk. Toen we hulp nodig hadden en vroegen haalde een van de reisbegeleiding haar schouders op en liep naar de boot. Ik had het idee dat ze het Engels niet goed begrepen of een slechte dag hadden. Uiteindelijk hebben we de boot gemist en zijn we met een taxi terug naar het hotel gegaan. Al met al was de Griekse vriendelijkheid ver te zoeken

This trip should not have gone ahead. Tui in England assured us the forecast storm would not affect us. It hit as we entered Butrint, with thunder and lightning. Site had lots of steep steps, which were slippery. The return ferry trip was dangerous. The crew made all passengers stand on one side as boat was tilting dangerously. We heard from a fellow passenger we were taking on water! The boat should not have set sail in those conditions A trip in better weather would have been enjoyable.

Le guide n'a pas été attentif vis à vis des personnes qui marchaient plus lentement : il fallait aller vite sans se soucier si elles suivaient et celles qui ont été obligées d'abandonner on reçu des réflexions de la part du guide Au lieu de visiter saranda, le guide a proposé de consommer une boisson ou de faire des achats... Et de d'avancer vers le port si on ne marchait pas suffisamment vite pour arriver à l'heure Excursion sans intérêt dans ces conditions

A full day trip from Corfu to Albania was an excellent experience from start to finish. We got picked up from the main road in Benitses. The ferry ride was pretty smooth. No passport control on Albanian side. We got to visit some fantastic sites, including the ruins of an old castle, which offers truly impressive views, and a very interesting archaeological site. A special mention goes to our Albanian Tour guide Mira, who was very knowledgeable and strict with time table. Would recommend

Well organised day which packed a lot in without feeling too rushed. Tour guide was excellent. Only two suggested improvements: (1) Better signage on the front of the pick up coach from the hotel to make it clear, as some people were anxious about whether they were on the right coach. (2) Can it be made clear when booking the tour that the port fee is around 20 euros per person and needs to be paid to the TUI staff in cash. Not knowing this left us a bit short of cash for the rest of the day.

La visite du site archéologique de Butrint était très bien la guide a été parfaite dans ses explications et le temps de la visite était bien adapté. Bémol pour le temps a la forteresse 15mn c'est vraiment très très juste même si le site est petit 30mn a 45mn aurait été parfait. Le repas était correct. Le temps libre en fin de journée insuffisant pour pouvoir faire quelques boutiques sur le port, il faudrait sans doute 1h30 plutot que les 30mn accordé ou ne pas mettre cette étape dans la sorti

Manque de temps a Butrint. Il faut prévenir les participants qu'on reçoit une carte d'embarquement avec un nom différent. Trouver le bon car n'est pas chose facile Sinon la guide était bien. Le site de Butrint est à voir, le repas du midi très moyen mais le rapport qualité prix est plutôt bien, vu qu'il y a le bateau à payer. La traversée dure 1h10

Très bon guide. Transport car de l'hôtel au ferry 2heures, trop long surtout qu’il faut ramasser d'autres personnes dans d'autres hôtels. Excursion qui reste chère. Les albanais où nous avons pris un café pas très honnête. On annule la commande de bière ils n'en tiennent pas compte, je demande un croissant il me donne un croissant au chocolat. Pour le repas nous n'avons pas eu de dessert car il ne restait plus de pomme.

Déçue par le guide. Beaucoup de connaissances mais aucune passion de transmettre. Désagréable avec les vacanciers. Repas sommaire, accueil pas sympathique. Le site archéologique vaut vraiment le coup, dommage qu'il n'y pas de flyer explicatif. Organisation du voyage en bus et bateau pas très clair.

We were told we would be picked up at the main gate which is up a really steep hill. We did this totally exhausted by it only when the bus came it then went down the hill to pick up other guests passport control very slow both ways. To long at the historical site totally boring 2hours is far to long and we only got 35 minutes in the town to see around which wasn't long enough. Lunch beautiful but time too short could do with longer free time.

It was an enjoyable day, though very chaotic arrival at port with tickets quques etc. Our tour guide Linda was knowledgeable and great. We were very disappointed to only get 30 free time on Saranda and would have preferred a later ferry to be able to see the town. At the end was so rushed and would have been nice to be warned on way if getting a drink on ferry thank goodness the driver of coach sold water. 2 hours pick ups was a nightmare

The overall trip was enjoyable but we stood for 45 minutes before boarding the boat which was unacceptable and no one there to tell us what was happening. Also we didn’t know boarding was at 9am think this should have been noted in the write-up.

A brilliant day trip from Corfu. Everything was very well organised from start to finish. The guide, Mira was fantastic, very informative and managed the group in a very professional manner. Her humour was also very good. We had George as our excellent driver. Although it is a long day it did not feel long. I would recommend this trip if you are in Corfu.

Perhaps not easily amended but the ferry transport both ways was chaotic. Loading was unclear as no advice given, eventually turning it into a melee. There also appeared to be significant speed differences between vessels.

Excellente opportunité de découvrir un coin de l' Albanie sur une journée. Trajet en bateau relativement court. Très bon guide sur place et visite d' un site antique (Butrint) niché dans un magnifique cadre de verdure (parc national). Vue également depuis le sommet d' une colline sur la ville de Saranda et environs. Il faut compter environ 12 heures depuis le départ de l' hôtel jusqu' au retour à l' hôtel.

I wish to complain about the Corfu transport arrangements for my Albania day trip from Sidari. The Albania excursion itself was excellent, but the return journey was unacceptable. The initial pick-up was 20 minutes late, while the return journey took approximately two hours instead of around 50 minutes. The driver also failed to drop us at our hotel, leaving us a 20-minute walk after a 14-hour day. Hotel pick-up/drop-off was included, so I request an explanation and appropriate compensation.

The initial arrival at the port was stressful as there was no guidance as to where to go or where to find the coach on the other side of the ferry. We followed others who also didn’t know where they were going but thankfully there were another group from a tour who had been given adequate information. The port tax is 20€ each and they prefer cash. It would have been good to know this ahead of tind also as this ate into our spends. The guide in Albania was fantastic as was the driver.

Great day out , collected from hotel and taken to the port and onto ferry, The passport and immigration was quick and easy. Ferry very basic re food and drink so take your own ! Met by a wonderful guide the other side . The only downside is that they took us to the most expensive restaurant / hotel in Saranda for coffee and breakfast! The view was great and decent This was also the lunch venue, and the lunch was very poor buffet, only disappointing part of the trip , rest fab

The only issue we had was that three buses turned up at the slotted times lot- all going to Albania and we were worried we’d got on the wrong bus. The ferry was fun, lots to see, the snapshot of Albania was amazing as we got to see the castle, ruins and town itself. It makes me want to properly visit Albania for a full holiday. 100% would go again!

The coach in Corfu was very old. The air con didn’t work and there was a broken seat which made the transfers very uncomfortable. The ferry crossing was good and also the coach in Albania. The guide was excellent. Itinerary was good. The hotel was fabulous for toilets, drinks and lunch with great staff. TUI should make it clear the trip is organised by Finnikus as people were getting lost. The German guide spoke so loudly that for those of us at the back of the coach he drowned out the English.

The Guide was excellent. She was knowledgeable and kept us informed and was very engaging. The included buffet lunch at the Restaurant was very good. We were given ferry tickets going and coming back, in other people’s names which I didn’t think was good from a safety point of view. We enjoyed the trip but Albania has a long way to go before I would consider it for a holiday as the prices were expensive and there were piles of rubbish every where even at the UNESCO sight.

Excursion trop chère car trop de temps passer en bus et ferry l arrêt du matin à l hôtel est une perte de temps et insiste à consommer visite château et site archéologique trop long repas trop court faut payer les boissons puis à Sarandë avons eu que 45 mns pour se balader il fallait être au point de Rv à 15 h30 pour ferry 16 h donc pas assez de temps très déçu du transport de l hôtel à Corfou car bus vieux et pas de Clim aller comme retour journée à 240€ et 60€ de taxe albanaise trop chere

Très belle visite, un guide très cultivé, très intéressant. Agréablement surpris de l'Albanie et de son passé. Le site archéologique très bien conservé et magnifique.

Interesting trip. Guide was excellent. Would have liked more time in Saranda at the end. Not as happy having to wait for the Paxos ferry before being transported back to hotel. Extended the day unnecessarily by about 30/40 minutes. Hotel transfer should be separate for paxos and Albania not together on return transfer.

The day didn’t start off too well , we were told to meet at top of a steep hill at entrance of hotel then when coach arrived went down to reception to collect other guests! Didn’t make sense, the driver was a grumpy old man who didn’t seem to know where he was going and kept turning around, at one point he had forgotten some passengers and had to turn again and go back and get them, I think a TUI guide is needed from start to finish of your! The trip once on the Ferry was amazing,guide was great

Enjoyed all the trip, one thing is advising people of the name of the company picking you up, it was confusing as there is more than one pickup at the messonghi taxi rank at the same time.

Trop de temps passé dans les transports (bus jusqu’à Corfou, bateau, bus en Albanie où on met 45 minutes pour faire 10km à cause des embouteillages) et pour passer la douane (au moins 30-40 minutes à chaque fois). Total=environ 8h de transport/trajet en tout pour 4h hors trajet sur place. Butrint pas mal, mais Sarenda aucun intérêt : station balnéaire où il n’y a rien à voir à part la plage et les boutiques de souvenirs.

The guide was so knowledgable and informative ( linda) & the driver ( george) was also very polite and good. The lunch proded at the mediterane hotel was kovely too.....maybe a little bit longer at the castle on the hill. But overall a good trip.....although getting through passport control once back in corfu took nearly as long as the return bost trip in the heat was difficult especially with a child. Would still reccomend the trip
