Cosa aspettarsi
Efeso è uno dei siti archeologici meglio conservati dell'epoca classica. Tra le attrazioni principali figurano la Biblioteca di Celso e il Grande Teatro. Scoprirai anche la Casa della Vergine Maria e farai una sosta a Sirince. Ammira la Biblioteca di Celso, costruita con doppie pareti per proteggere i suoi rotoli dal calore. Sbircia nelle case ancora decorate con affreschi e curiosando tra i bagni pubblici, il bordello e le botteghe. Percorri la Via di Marmo per vedere il Grande Teatro, uno spettacolare anfiteatro da 24.000 posti scavato nella collina, che un tempo risuonava delle grida dei gladiatori e dei sermoni di San Paolo. A Efeso c'è anche un museo, che visiterai durante il tuo tour. Le sue mostre digitali sono progettate per mostrare come poteva apparire Efeso al suo apice.Successivamente, visiteremo la Casa della Vergine Maria, un santuario cattolico e musulmano. C'è un muro dei desideri, dove è possibile lasciare preghiere scritte, e una fontana le cui acque sono ritenute da alcuni dotate di poteri miracolosi. Concluderemo la giornata a Sirince, un luogo un po' meno antico ma che conserva comunque un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. Chi prenota l'opzione con pranzo incluso, pranzerà in un ristorante a conduzione familiare a Sirince prima di una degustazione di vino di frutta locale; ci sarà anche del tempo libero per passeggiare lungo le strade acciottolate della città.

Die Möglichkeit zum Frühstücken war nicht sehr gut, insbesondere für die Kinder. Es wurde aus meiner Sicht zu schnell durch die Stadt geführt.

Efez ekstra, dom NMP jako miejsce kultu pewnie dla niektórych może okazać się ciekawe, Şirince strasznie słabe. Przewodniczka polskojęzyczna beznadziejna, drugi raz rozważałbym wykupienie wycieczki z anglojęzycznym przewodnikiem.

My complaint is the fact if you stay at the Arin Resort this is a 16 hour day pick up 5:35am and arrive back at 8:30pm. The swapping of coaches only adds up to all this travel time. No water with lunch either very poor. Coach driver and guide for majority of the travel where great. 8hr duration misleading this should reflect where you are being picked up from.

Mooie trip, jammer dat er geen Nederlands sprekende reisgids was! Dit wel aangegeven bij boeken. Er was dus niets in het Nederlands te vinden. De reisgids die we hadden sprak Engels maar niet heel goed! En hij kon het ook niet enthousiast vertellen! Helaas gemiste kans!

À la suite d’une circonstance particulière au niveau de l’information (le chauffeur et le garde de l’hôtel parlant de Pamukkale et non d’Ephèse), je n’ai pas pu participer à cette excursion alors que j’étais au point de rendez-vous. Par contre, la représentante de TUI, en congé, a compris la situation et a tout fait pour que je sois remboursé. Je remercie donc vivement Done (la représentante) pour son professionnalisme face à cette situation particulière.

Die Anreise nach Ephesus war schon ziemlich lang (Anfahrt knapp 3 Stunden/ Rückfahrt durch Stau 3,5 Stunden), aber die Tour hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Führung durch Ephesus war sehr informativ und der Guide sehr gut vorbereitet. Beim gemeinsamen Mittagessen hatten wir keine großen Erwartungen, wurden aber durch das Ambiente und die Auswahl der Speisen überrascht. Auch der anschließende Rundgang durch den kleinen Ort hielt noch Überraschungen bereit: so viele Shops und Angebote! Toll.

once again we had x3 different pick time changes - pack up from the hotel was just x1 cheese roll and x1 apple each - no drink mini bus - no air con and no opening windows which with 13 people was uncomfortable . guide very good knowledgeable the food at the restaurant not he best and not hot and drink VERY expensive

Good day out. Definitely worth the trip. Overall good information given if a little patchy at times. Breakfast stop was appalling. Dirty, not stocked (as in loo roll, hand towels) toilets! Quite a confusing stop off as in where we were to go to get a breakfast or just a coffee. I think a much better idea would have been a nice bakery, in the area, for coffee and pastries. Somewhere that had clean, useable facilities. Guide, on the whole, was good if at times not very clearly spoken.

We had wanted to see Ephesus for a long time and weren’t disappointed with this excursion. Our guide (I forget his full name but he told us to call his El I think) was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Ephesus and the areas leading to it, including a very picturesque lake we stopped at for refreshments at the the start. The lunch in Sirence was good and it was nice to have some time to explore. Be prepared for a 2hr+ coach journey there and back - but in our opinion it was worth it :)
