Are you ready for an adventure with a uniquely Khao Sok touch? Uncover some of Thailand's best-kept secrets on an exclusive tour that ticks all the boxes. You'll combine a variety of activities, ranging from the cultural to the natural. Haggle with locals in a market, meet elephants at a sanctuary and mingle with monkeys in a temple. Tina, one of our expert local guides, says, "You'll be able to see just how the workers here look after the elephants, including how they get in the water with the animals. You'll see this for yourself, and help out the sanctuary staff by preparing the elephant's food."The fun begins at Takuapa market, where you'll get to taste fresh Thai fruit while meeting the locals. We move it up a gear next at the viewpoint in Khao Sok National Park, before a trip to the local rainforest sanctuary to meet the elephants. The sanctuary is where elderly elephants, who are unable to work, live their daily lives. Once you have helped out with the prep, you'll be able to prepare healthy treats for the elephants and walk with them through the tropical jungle. And, there's more to come. Snap up some pics at the viewpoint in Khao Sok National Park, before arriving at a restaurant to tuck into a traditional Thai lunchtime feast. As it that wasn't enough, you'll get to try river bamboo rafting, sailing along the river before wrapping things up with a sense of zen at ‘Monkey Cave'. Inside is serene and beautiful, with an intricately decorated shrine and often monks praying. You might also catch sight of birds and bats in the cave, but the monkeys generally stay outside.

The rafting was ok, but not much to see, scenary was nice , then later in the day the experience of meeting a full grown elephant was amazing, you cannot put into words how gracefully they were, the elephant were so good at no time did myself and my partner feel nervous, just excitement. Really good experience of a lifetime.

Guide could have been a bit more informative regarding areas of interest. Arrived early at elephant sanctuary and no official guide was available, it was left to our tour guide to take us round & he didn’t have too. It was amazing to see the elephants. Food at lunch was very good.

The experience was fantastic the only downside was the tui rep put the wrong hotel on our booking so we waited a long time before we were collected from OUR hotel. I asked our hotel to contact the other hotel who managed to sort things out .

Loved the elephants of course (who doesn't ) but was surprised the visitors were allowed in the water to scrub them clean as this is highly stressful for the elephants. The food was nice rafting was relaxing the market was awful

The elephants, handlers and carers were amazing, nothing but maximum praise here. The bamboo rafting was quant but in danger of being a tad unauthentic because the streams weren't looked after with many old rafts abandoned and shoreside foliage messy in places, it needs clearing away for new growth when it falls. The food at lunch was so so as was the monkey temple.

An enjoyable and interesting itinerary, and a super excursion . The guide (Ran) and driver (Mix) went out of their way to provide information, make us comfortable, provide refreshments, take photos for us . The elephant sanctuary was wonderful and you could clearly see how well the elephants were cared for. Lunch was delicious with an unexpected cooking demo too. The scenery on the rafting tour was stunning. Highly recommended!

Väldigt märkligt att Tui som så stort bolag står bakom denna typ av resa, att bada med elefanter. Tui guiden sa att det var ett ställe där man tar hand om elefanter, men det var tydligt att elefanterna var där för oss turister, att vi ska bada med dem. Vi kände oss faktiskt lite lurade på denna resan. Tui borde stryka resor där turister får bada och klappa elefanterna.

We loved every part of our experience. Our guide Queeney was very knowledgeable and passionate about the elephants. Driver Oy drove us safely during the entire trip. The minibus was new, very comfortable and the ride was smooth, AC working properly. We did this experience last year as well, as we enjoyed it very much, this year we visited a different elephant sanctuary. By chance we had the same guide, Queeney, who was great on every occasion. The rafting was great. Would definitely recommend.

The elephant santctiary experience was amazing. To get so close to them, to feed them, wash them in the river was excellent. Our guide, Nick was very informative great to have on the tour. Dining experiment was good although I think the food should be served per family. Overall a great tour.

Markedet var lidt unødvendigt og langt fra de andre ting. Det virkede lidt som om der var talt forkert så vi blev stuvet fire personer sammen på raften i floden, det var lidt træls for der for dårligt plads til at sidde der, hvilket gjorde det svært at nyde. Ikke skyggen af dyreliv på turen på floden, hvilket var ærgerligt men naturligvis ikke noget der er nogen skyld :)

This really should have been a half dya trial with just the rafting lunch and the elephants. The market and temple elements were very lacklustre and felt like afterthoughts to bump up the day and justify the price. The guide was impossible at times to understand making communication throughout the dya vet difficult. She wa a pleasant but in the end she didn't ad such to the day and we could have done it without her and just the staff at the rafting and elephants who were much better.

The elephants was amazing, so was the rafting. Value for money. The market we visted first was not good To see fresh meat and veg/fruit off putting. Most people in our group felt the same- boring Also monkey sanctuary and temple not good We have travelled a lot in Asia and seen amazing temples again very boring. On both of these stops we did not enjoy. Also the rep just left us. And she spoke so quickly it was hard to understand her

Bambu flotten var bäst dock så jobbade de med att transportera båtar tillbaka med en moterbåt så dessvärre blev det inte lugnt och stillsamt, bra om de tänker på det. Elefanterna härligt men varför inte bara låta de gå fritt och göra vad de vill det räcker mer än väl, hålla på med att göra cirkus koster är inte tillfredsställande längre tänk alltid på djurens bästa

Loved the elephants and rafting and it was nice to see the bamboo fire for coffee. Market was interesting and good to see real culture! Guide was a bit of a ‘know it sll’ but tell us some great info - in the cooking people put ingredients to their nose and this was added to the fish for us to eat - uuugghh! No clear times of itinerary/ travel times.

We chose the half-day trip to the elephant sanctuary and local market, and it was absolutely worth it. Seeing, feeding, and bathing the elephants was unforgettable, and it was great to see how well they are treated—one of the highlights of all our travels. The local market was also lovely, with friendly people and affordable local goods. The only small improvement would be slightly more caution while driving in heavy motorcycle traffic. Otherwise, everything was excellent and highly recommended

Die Tourleiterin sprach ein wirklich gutes Deutsch. Sie hat uns sehr viel über Land und Leute erzählt. Die Betreuung von ihr war zauberhaft. Die ganze Tour wurde ausgezeichnet gestaltet. Man hatte nie das Gefühl unter Stress zu sitzen oder das es Massenabfertigung war. Es war von Anfang an alles perfekt. Auch unser Fahrer war eine liebe Seele und hat uns sehr unterhalten und uns zum Lachen gebracht. Einfach alles mega perfekt.

Svårt att förstå guiden, det var stark thailändsk brytning och snabbt, dessutom ofta medan vi satt i bil som lät högt. Det känns inte som vi lärde oss så mycket om thailändsk kultur och natur som vi hoppats av denna anledning. Hon fokuserade mest på ”take family photo here”. Det har hon iofs väldigt hjälpsam med, men vi saknade information och djup kring de platser vi besökte.
