We didn’t get to spend any time on the beach before being rushed on the boat. Drinks were ok really small bags of chips for snacks! Felt like a rushed tour. Bus driver was good but scary.

2 hours drive to wait another hour before getting on a catamaran, not othered a soft drink on a hot day, or food a packet of crisps all for 250 dollars, didn’t get back until after 9.10 pm nearly missing food at our hotel. I wouldn’t recommend and I with other people on this trip want our money back. Sold by TUI reps YOU responsible T Cooke

We were told that it was a party catamaran when we arrived. There were young children on the excursion. We were also told that it was only be a 45 minute transportation to the port in order to get the catamaran. This turns out to be a two hour journey. To be honest the whole experience was a disaster

It should clearly state that you have to wade through the sea to board the Catamaran. It's states that a snack will be provided, a packet of crisps is not snack no alternative was offered.

De catamaran was leuk, alleen je wordt ruim een uur te vroeg opgehaald in de hoop dat je daar iets koopt of drinkt, het was een uur en een kwartier wachten voor we eindelijk op de boot konden. Ik denk dat een kleiner bootje of bij het hotel sneller was en goedkoper. Snorkel stukje was mooi, maar daar was relatief weinig tijd voor. Ricks cafe is leuk om gezien te hebben, maar voor de echte zonsondergang werden we terug gebracht. Duur en veel wachten voor weinig...

Booked this adults-only catamaran through TUI expecting a relaxing day, but it was rushed from start to finish. Stressful driving, then funnelled through a gift shop and bar before even reaching Seven Mile Beach. Engine failure meant over an hour waiting with no refreshments despite them being included. At Rick’s Cafe, we were rushed, spent $122 on food that arrived with only ten minutes to eat. The crew were great, but overall organization was poor. Wouldn’t recommend.

Sold as a family catamaran cruise, but it was an overcrowded booze cruise. Extremely loud music throughout made it unsuitable for families. The “guided” snorkelling never happened as there were so many people no one directed us where to go. Our children, who have snorkelled in Greece, Egypt and Sri Lanka, found it overwhelming. Ricks cafe expensive, staff rude, vomit at entrance. We skipped the “sunset cruise” and left early. £277 for four and nothing like the magical family trip we were sold.

Die Abholzeit war viel zu früh, mussten 1 Std an der Anlegestelle warten. Der Kat war sehr unmodern, zu viele Mitfahrer - Massentourismus. Die Tour ist nichts für Leute über 65, extrem laute Musik an Bord. Gut für junge Menschen, tolle Stimmung an Bord.

The trip was ok. Late start of 2.15pm and ended up we couldn’t stop at ricks cafe due to the tide and had to get returned to marina to then get a bus to ricks cafe and missed the sunset and had a very short time at ricks cafe. Was only on boat for 1 hour and 45 minutes

No organisation from pick up time to actually getting on Catamaran… taxi driver never got out and announced himself we had to guess he was for us. Upon arrival no idea where to go or what to do/ check in process… boarding no announcements and was a total free for all… safety crossing from catamaran to boat to Ricks cafe dangerous even more so getting off the transfer boat to/from Ricks Cafe.

Overcrowded. Not sold for what it actually is. At no point were we told if would be an outside nightclub, had we known we would not have done the trip. The snorkelling was the only good thing. Not worth the money, unless you want to rave on a boat.

Leider hat der Ausflug mit einem Strandaufenthalt mit Geschäften beim Veranstalter begonnen. Der zeitliche Aufenthalt war hier mit 1h und 15 min. angesetzt, was viel zu lange war. Fast der gleiche zeitanteil war dann bei Ricks Cafe mit 1,5h. Wo man viel mehr Zeit ansetzen könnte. Das passt nicht ganz. Ausserdem war das Schnorchelriff kein Riff mehr. Es waren kaum Fische oder Korallen da und mit 4 Catermarane und 3 Schnorchelboote überfüllt.

Unaware that we’d be at Jamwest for 1 & 1/2 hours before we even got on the catamaran & we didn’t know we’d have to walk out to the catamaran while trying to keep towels, bags etc dry. The snack turned out to be packets of cheesy crisps & popcorn, hardly sustaining food. I didn’t feel that it was “teeming” with fish when snorkelling, it was a bit of a letdown. We felt the disembarking via tender for Rick’s Cafe was dangerous & more info should be given about this part.

Boat way over crowded , not enough time given to experience the beach or rocks cafe (20 mins ) not enough snorkelling equipment to go around , my wife got an injury and no 1st aid , we were advised to urinate on the area of sting . Cheap crisps as our snack , from 11am being picked up to 10 pm arriving back at hotel , we had no opportunity to eat at all . The dancing on boat was more like a ********** party and meant to be family party

We booked this trip to Jamwest from Riu Aquarelle. The coach journey to the destination took just over two hours, but we drove through lots of small villages, so there was plenty to see along the way. As we were staying in Falmouth, we expected the journey to be this length. Check-in at Jamwest was quick and well organised. We had time to order food and drinks before boarding, which I’d recommend doing, as you only spend around an hour at Rick’s Café. It’s much better to use that time for cliff

We were told this was going from Montego Bay, had we known it was 2.5 hours drive we wouldn’t have gone. Long day with no food other than a packet of crisps for the price was not good value at all. The stops felt like it was an opportunity to squeeze as much money out of everyone as possible. Not good value at all and day was far too long for what turned out to be very little time on the actual catamaran.

We were 25 minutes late in leaving the hotel, the bus we were on had mechanical problems and broke down. Jam West beach was beautiful and onto the Catamaran. Once on we realised the boat was packed, getting into the water for snorkeling was a shambles and very chaotic. Staff on board very helpful, too many people on the boat tho.

We worden half uur te laat opgehaald, doordat ze waren blijven wachten op gasten die niet kwamen. Daarna rijden en na half uur stilstaan omdat er nog 2 gasten komen.. vervolgens in file en 3 uur onderweg. Catamaran trip ok, snorkelen redelijk, ricks cafe wel leuk. En susnset wel mooi. Daarna in bus weer half uur wachten op dronken gast die aan het douchen is. Waarna ze in bus veel herrie maken. En bus is te klein als je 1,90 bent.

Perhaps not the fault of the provider but this was not what we were sold per say.... we were told when booking that we would have 2 hrs on 7 mile beach, we had 30 mins. We were sold this on the notion of it being to watch the sunset, that also never happened so overall very disappointed.

Overall the experience for us was underwhelming, first starting off with a two hour wait on the beach where you’re expected to buy drinks at their bar or walk around. The snorkel guided tour was excellent and probably the best part of the boat trip apart from Rick’s Cafe where you only got an hour( not enough time to get the feel) maybe more time at Rick’s and less on the beach. If you’re interested in an Ibiza style booze cruise this is for you, if not maybe look at a coach trip to Rick’s Cafe.

The cruise itself was okay, but it was advertised as family friendly, personally I felt it was more of a booze cruise not a trip for someone in their 70's. Getting onto the Catamaran was a big shock, I had not expected to have to wade through water chest high and end up soaking wet for the duration of the trip. Exciting was equally as bed although not as deep. The staff were excellent in helping me both on and off as they realised immediately I was becoming very stressed and anxious.

Very enjoyable from pick up by Martin at hotel who also give us info on surrounding areas as we drove through. Stop off at jam west gave time for a look around the gift shop and something to eat plus time on the beach. We were well looked after by the crew from wading through the water to the catamaran, snorkelling and transfers at Ricks cafe. A lively cruise but fun too. Didn’t expect to arrive back at our hotel so late ( after 8.30 pm) however a good day out worth the money.

Wij hadden dit speciaal voor ons 30 jarig huwelijk geboekt, wij keken voor deze speciale dag uit naar een bijzondere ZEILboot ervaring met "Jamaican vibes" muziek, wij hadden dit ook duidelijk tegen de TUI vertegenwoordigster gezegd. Maar het bleek niets anders dan een ordinaire disco (verschrikkelijk harde getto muziek) boot te zijn en nog enorm vies (met schimmel) ook waar mijn vrouw zelfs uitslag door kreeg. De zeilen zijn nooit gehesen en de bemanning was vooral druk met de jonge vrouwen.

There was a lot of 18 to 40 age group on the cattermaran which I felt made the trip more of a booze cruise and not the family outing I was expecting as a lady in her 70's, the crew were lovely group of young men who were extremely helpful when it became obvious I was struggling to leave the boat. So for me I was definitely of the wrong age to enjoy the trip to it's full potential.

I enjoyed the whole experience the crew provided. The proffesionlism, care and service was exquisite. It would have been nice to spend at least 2 hours at 7 mile beach and 2 hours at Rick's Cafe maybe in future this means an earliwr pickup and earlier finishing time for the experience. Overall it was a great trip due to the care and service from the minibus driver, and catamaran crew aswell as Annette the Tui representative who helped us book the experience.

We got to Rick's cafe and couldn't dock the catarman. We had to go back. We was absolutely gutted as paid for 6 people and couldn't do what we paid for unless we got back to 7 mile beach and then drove to Rick's cafe. They would of know the weather conditions to dock or not so we should of been warned previously to have the choice to cancel. Very expensive trip to not be able to do the full trip. We couldn't get the lift from 7 mile beach to Rick's Cafe for medical reasons

The snorkelling was superb, the only (small) irritation was being picked up from our hotel (10 mins away) at 12.15 and the cruise not starting until 2.40. We were hanging around for a while and tbh we didn’t really want to pay to eat and drink as we had all inclusive at our hotel.

Nothing to enjoy. All male staff were only interested in hitting on.young single girls on the experience. Female staff rude and uncooperative. Life jackets ripped, snorkels broken and in need of replacement. Just got a 1 minute glimpse of Rick's cafe because of the weather. Offered a bus to Rick's cafe but was running too late so had to pay extra to get back to hotel. Overall the experience seemed suited to a certain clientele which made us feel unwelcome and intimidated.

Access to the catamaran is his waist high sea water. Would have helped to be warned about this. Catamaran staff and bus driver very welcoming and felt safe with them. Paid $10 for a printed photo and told printer jot working when we got back to shore. Wouldn’t have bought it if I was told this before paying

An absolutely brilliant day overall, great cruise, snorkelling ok not a lot to see but due to sea conditions snorkelling at Ricks Cafe. Time at Ricks excellent not to be missed, and the return cruise coincided with an amazing sunset. Food and drink at jamwest beach ( you get a couple of hours there before the cruise) pricey and no food on board but plenty to drink 😄

The boat trip isn’t that long and I don’t see the point in stopping at Ricks Cafe. Food takes you over an hour to receive it, the stop is only an hour. It would be better if you stay on the boat and you get to go swimming in the sea, the coral reef stop was only for 45 mins not long enough. Plus I do think the boat should not be packed, you have more fun not having to fight for a seat.

The catamaran cruise & visit to Rick’s Cafe was a real pleasure. The staff on the boat very friendly & helpful. I have some complaints; Promised guide? There was no guide. After the bus journey nobody to tell us we had to register, sign a paper or where to go. Everybody was following everybody else and not sure. The bus driver was courteous & very competent for the outward & return journeys. However, the bus was frankly in a bad state. The suspension was long gone.

Super crew die er echt een feest van maken. Enige punt is dat je door het wayer moet om naar de boot te komen. Wij zijn klein dus spullen en kleding nat ,,heen gaat het wel maar terug zeiknat in de bus..koud en niet meer warm kunnen worden. Hadden we dit geweten hadden we droge kleding mee kunnen nemen! Verder topdag!

It’s ok but no food is provided other than small crisps for the entire day. It also isn’t made clear on arrival to the beach that this is the only time you can purchase food. There’s not enough time at Rick’s cafe. You only get a small amount of time for snorkelling. Disappointing.

Where do I start, had to wade out into the sea water up to my neck, and so did my friend… one glass of water all day, no food. All our belongings got soaked dirty toilets, had to travel back on coach in wet clothes so we were very cold…. Bus didn’t get back until quarter to nine so had to go to bed hungry… overall a very traumatic day.. and certainly overpriced… I have spoken to my rep and complained and she is looking into the matter… It’s is now 12 o’clock at night and loud music banging out .

Fantastic afternoon and evening. The transfer driver was polite and helpful. Jamwest bar is friendly, lively and fun. Catamaran staff were great fun, as well as being safety conscious and helpful. Rick's cafe was a great experience, friendly, lively and a beautiful sunset. Overall an unforgettable experience

It’s not what is sold Sells pitch - lovely day lunch and sunset cruise What you get - 2 1/2 hours on a bus on to boat drinks NO FOOD get to ricks cafe 40 minutes back on boat and then sit n bus with wet clothes as you have to walk through water up to arm pits to get on and off boat for another 2 hours in total 10 hours with out food or opportunity to purchase food arrive back horse 9:20 wet through in swim west by the time we had showered all food ********** down My advise don’t bother get a

Was informed by the rui rep that it was a 20/25 min transfer, which was actually 1hr 45 mins! jam West to have no direction. we then had to ask where to get our bands for the boat, when I asked what time the boat was leaving was told an hr or 2!!Once on the boat all was good apart from the fact that you advertised a jerk lunch would be provided yet all there was is a few bags of crisps. I informed the rep my mother has poor mobility yet he failed to tell us there are steps and only he at Rick's

The staff were professional and very safety conscious though some of the passagers who did not speak English were not fully able to follow the instructions, and could of caused a dangerous incident but the staff were able to anticipate any dangers

Expensive for what it was. Picked up at 11am, arrived Jamwest 1pm. We weren’t given any instructions when we arrived but managed to “check in”. We then heard that the boat only had snacks so we should order lunch. We ordered nachos and wings at 1.20pm and it came out at 2pm (boarding time) so we got to-go boxes. The boat staff were great fun but the music etc was more geared towards the US guests. We also only had 1 hour at Ricks Cafe so again, not much time for food or drink. Sunset was lovely.

We had such a good time ,we liked when we was snorkeling the staff were very attentive and made you feel safe ,we then set sail for Rick's cafe , it was such a lively place and the views,are amazing, the staff were brilliant, they kept us entertained and plenty of food and drinks aboard.

The journey was long (which we knew) however our bus driver was driving like an absolute maniac, his overtaking, tailgating and speed was scarey and so dangerous, we were all on edge and worried there was going to be a serious accident. On arrival at the beach we only had a short while to enjoy the beach (we were told we would have longer) the boat was crammed with far too fancy people and disorganised, snorkeling was chaotic and we only had a very short time at Rick's cafe. Very disappointing

They did there best in bad circumstances, it was heavy rain , from start to finish. It was a bit choppy when arrived at Rick's so had to be transported in a smaller boat, or stay on board. It was a bit nervey . They told us it was not going to stop raining. I think it would have been better cancelled with options of a different day. But the lads on board did a great job in bad circumstances ??

We were picked up at 12.40, taking 5 mins away, then made to wait 90 mins in expensive bar till we boarded the boat. Crew had little respect for safety or disabled people. Life jackets and snorkels broken, we were told could stand in the sea but we couldn't. Basically it was a ********** up party boat rather than the romantic cruise you sell it as.

It was a memorable day out for all the right reasons. Staff very friendly but professional felt safe and looked after during snorkelling, and transfers from land to boat and vice versa. Great atmosphere. Possibly could have more choice of snacks, only popcorn and cheese puffs ( hardly worth mentioning though) Would do again xx

This was one of the best catamaran trips I’ve ever been on. It was a half-day trip departing at 14:30 and from the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome. The crew were friendly, polite and genuinely happy to be there. They were very attentive, always checking on guests and offering drinks from the bar. I would highly recommend the Jamwest catamaran experience. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience were outstanding—truly a 5-star trip!

The trip overall was excellent. We were unlucky to have bad weather (rain and wind) which made the water a bit too choppy for the usual snorkelling spots. The guides still found a suitable spot and made the boat ride fun. Rick's Cafe was fantastic, I would have liked a bit more time there as we didn't have chance to eat and there were only crisps on the boat. Other than that a fantastic trip!

Wir waren heute auf dem Catamaran-Ausflug und sehr enttäuscht. Die Anfahrt dauerte pro Richtung ca. 1:45 Std. über schlechte Straßen, wir kamen völlig erschöpft an. Vor Ort warteten wir über eine Stunde. Es gab keine Verpflegung, nur winzige Chips als Snacks, die sehr schnell vergriffen waren. 20 Min. Schnorcheln, danach nur Küstenfahrt – nichts Besonderes. Für Zeit, Strecke und Preis absolut nicht lohnenswert. Aus Montego Bay nicht zu empfehlen.

Lang wachten voordat boot opgaat , bier op en snack is zakje chips zeker geen 200 euro waard die kun je beter besteden aan wat anders . De rit er naar toe was dodemansrit en niet echt veilig gevoeld blik op oneindig en rijden maar
