Didn't like having to make my own way to Playa Del Carmen at 5:30 in the morning, at my own cost and missing breakfast, when others were picked up from their hotel. Also, it was a 14 hour day for me, longer for others. Suggest the Coba part of this visit should be combined with a Tulum tour. which is geographically more logical. The guide said total distance covered by the driver would be 640 km, far too much for comfort. But the guide, Rodrigo, and the driver, Salvador were excellent!

The guide had a wealth of knowledge about Chichen Itza. He was fascinating. The cenote was great but access was difficult- barefoot down many rough stairs and the food was very disappointing.

Beto the tour guide really made the experience a fabulous one enjoyed the day learn many new things. I particularly like his sensitivity towards the Mayan's and there culture he allowed us time to take things at our own pace. The whole day was an experience I would love to have again . Many thanks .

Absolutely amazing trip , see so many things and have a good amount of time at each place. The drive didn’t feel long as our guide was brilliant and knew so much . Would recommended this trip to people who want to see a lot in one day. Was a longer day but was a really good experience.

Prachtige dag - lang en vermoeiend, maar zo enorm mooi en waardevol. We hadden graag meer tijd in Valladolid gehad; zo’n leuk stadje, een half uurtje is niet genoeg! Enorme pluspunten voor de geweldige gids Juam (We lagen in een scheur!), en de top chauffeur Salvador.

We did the Coba, Chichen Itza & Valladolid excursion on our honeymoon and it was incredible. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and seeing the Mayan ruins, exploring the jungle, and visiting Chichen Itza – one of the Seven Wonders – was unforgettable. Lunch was included with plenty of tasty options. It is a long day, but absolutely worth it for the history, culture, and amazing sights.

Frank and Salvador were brilliant. Frank delivered historical knowledge in an entertaining and engaging way. He explained the spiritual and cultural side of things especially the images on the temple. Salvador drove us safely to the various venues. Would highly recommend these two.

Our guide and host was friendly and knowledgeable. We were lucky to get to Coba and the Cenote early and had full access to ourselves! The Cenote is definitely a bucket list location, plenty of time to enjoy our surroundings. Chichén Itzá was equally breathtaking, although the heat was very intense, with little areas to provide respite from it. My only critique would be the hidden costly taxes not included in the tickets and some of the staff/vendors at the locations were quite harassing.

The tour and guide and driver were great and very friendly. Our only issue was it wasn’t very clear where we would be having the lunch and at what time. The lunch stop is whilst you are at Chickikan, you have around 2 hours to use the cenote and have lunch which is enough time it just wasn’t clear where we needed to go for the lunch. Overall great experience and it was amazing. Just be aware you have to pay a tax in cash in pesos at Coba, they do not take card.

Fantastic value for money experience. We got 1h30 in Coba to see the Mayan ruins. Then 30 mins in Valladolid for a quick walk around and got to see the Cathedral. Then about 2h at the cenote where we swam and ate a lovely lunch buffet. Then 2h at Chichen Itza to explore on our own. A 13h day in total but coach was very modern and comfortable. Our guide Frank and driver Richard were super friendly and professional. Could not have asked for a better guide. FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY.

Deze tour is veelzijdig, een lange dag waarin je veel mooie en indrukwekkende activiteiten doet. De gids en chaffeur waren erg aardig en behulpzaam. De tour zelf was 62 euro via Tui, echter komen hier nog +- 50 euro bij op aan tax en verplichte huur van bijvoorbeeld zwemvesten en lockers (cenotes) en 30 euro voor entree chichin itza. Naar mijn mening mag dit duidelijk vermeld worden. De gids deed zijn verhaal in engels en spaans waardoor het soms moeilijk te volgen was. Eindstand: aanrader

This is a great but long day in the heat, especially Chichen Itza, so be prepared with drinks and snacks as these are not provided and you may be up before breakfast. The lunch provided was really good (drinks were not included in the price). The day was organised with Amigo Tours, not Tui, and our guide Frank and driver Didier were excellent throughout the day, and as ancestors of the Maya this gave extra connection to the rich history and culture. Our highlight was cycling around Cobá.

Kan kun anbefales - en dag med masser af oplevelser. Specielt at se coba og chichen itza, vores guide isaac gjorde historien utrolig levende. Og så er dagen veltilrettelagt med pauser til lige købe lidt snacks, tissepauser, frokost osv.

Guide Ricardo och chauffören Jonnie var mycket trevliga och duktiga. Negativt var den lilla bussen och att vi fick sitta fyra vuxna längst bak. En i vårt sällskap är storvuxen så vi satt mycket obekvämt och trångt. Vi kunde inte heller se ut och följa landskapet från våra platser.

The driver was great and the guide was super knowledgable and funny. Lunch was amazing the cenote was beautiful. Only thing I would say is it would have been nicer to stay at coba like 1 hour longer.

Despite the very long day to see different sites during the day made the time spent worthwhile. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would suggest though that there was water and snack available on the bus as the pick up was so early we couldn’t have breakfast and cold drinks when we got back to bus after hot visit would have been great

TUi had no involvement, it was let to Amigo Tours. The guide & driver were excellent. Payment of Chichen Itza Tax was an issue. Expected to pay a third party in Mexico by unsecured & open wi fi connection via hotel the day before, and produce receipts. The transport provided was inadequate - a crew bus type vehicle holding 13 with no toilet to travel 600km on Mexican roads. We were obviously the overspill. AMigo tours had a 50 seater coach with a toilet the same day. Tui obviously overbooked.

Die Veranstaltung war gut, bis auf 30 min Verspätung in der Früh( 05:55) bis dann alle abgeholt waren und endlich Richtung Coba ging war es 08:00 Uhr. Der Bus in der früh Klima vollgas auf 20 Grad war eindeutig zu kühl.Coba an sich sehr cool, durch die Verspätung nicht so lange Zeit zum anschauen. Der Restliche Tag lief dann super, war echt mega Steil. Heimfahrt verlief Stress frei, bis auf die Temperatur im Bus abermals Klima 20 Grad, auf die bitte etwas wärmer zu schalten wurde nicht reagiert

Enjoyed the overall experience. It did feel like some of the explanations on the sites were pretty basic. We also had a bit of an issue where we included life vests for the cenote visit but the guide didn’t have that information and we lost valuable time getting that sorted out. The lunch was just ok. Not super fresh and they were not replenishing buffet items as often as they probably should.

Een geweldige tour begeleid door Manuel Tequila! Cobá bezoeken voor de drukte is echt top! De cenote had van mij niet gehoeven, is een kleine erg drukke cenote. Valladolid was ook leuk om even gezien te hebben! Chichén Itzá was ook perfect geregeld 30 min rondleiding en 45 min vrije tijd. Mooi de tijd gehad om alles te bekijken. Het was een lange dag. Een snack of ontbijt to go smorgens in de bus zou het wel aangenamer maken. Want je staat vroeg op en voor ontbijt is geen tijd voor.

+ De gids was een Maya. Hij had een goede beheersing van het Engels en een goede kennis. Bij Chichen itza kon hij heel veel nuttige informatie geven. Ook het bezoek aan chichen itza was de moeite. - de lunch werd je gelokt naar een dorp enkel gemaakt voor toeristen. Wij haten het om ons ergens heen ‘gelokt’ te voelen en ‘geduwd’ in toeristische shops. - heel vroeg vertrek (5:55), als eerste opgehaald maar ook als laatste teruggebracht terwijl we ons hotel 1:30h voordien reeds passeerden?!

NEGATIV: Cenote Chichikan: kostenpflichtige Schwimmwesten + Schließfach sind Pflicht, wenn man sich (bei 40 Grad in der Mittagssonne mitten im Dschungel) abkühlen möchte. Dazu muss man eine sehr steile Holztreppe hinunter steigen, die extrem rutschig (da nass) ist. Und man wird andauernd von Händlern in Verkaufsgespräche verwickelt. Aufenthalt in Valladolid war mit 20 Minuten viel zu kurz. Zusatzkosten sollten transparenter kommuniziert werden! POSITIV: Tour Guide Manuel (Codename: Tequila)

The tour was really good. I would say the transfer back was alittle chaotic. We came from Tulum, and went back to Cancún and then was put on a smaller bus back to Tulum. The additional extras were great, but I would maybe add to advise people to bring quite abit of cash as it tends to be cheaper to pay by cash.

Der Ausflug wurde über die App gebucht. Veranstalter war Amigo Tours. Fahrt im hochwertigen Reisebus. Fahrer Emanuel & Carmen als Reiseleiterin sehr gut. Englisch. Die Cenote Chichikan inkl. Buffet sehr gut. Die regionalen Verkäufer haben wir toleriert. Im Vergleich: Wir haben auch d. Ausflug Typ Tui Collection Tours beim Tui Reiseleiter gebucht (Inhalt war hier Tulum, Turtles und Cenote, lunch) Preis 175 Euro p. Person. Unsere Erwartungen waren hoch. Im Vergleich hierzu eine Enttäuschung.

Netter Reiseführer Roberto. Die Fahrt im Bus war sehr lange, darauf sollte man sich vorher einstellen. Zwischenstopp in Valladolid war schön, aber nicht unbedingt notwendig. Mittagessen in Chichikan war sehr lecker, am Anfang wird man von einem Priester gesegnet, was eine besondere Erfahrung ist. Anschließend wird man in eine Souvenirhalle geführt und es wird intensiv auf einen eingeredet. Das war sehr unangenehm und wir haben uns ein wenig unwohl gefühlt. Die Tempelanlagen waren sehr schön!

Tolle Tour mit sehr kompetenten und sympathischen Guides. Frank und Manuel haben uns wirklich viel erklärt und mit viel Engagement Chichen Itza und die anderen Stopps nahe gebracht. Das schwimmen in der Cenote war auch ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir können die Tour wirklich nur empfehlen. Leider gab es keinen keine Abholung vom Hotel aus, sonst alles super!

Retki oli oikein hyvä, opas kertoi paljon mielenkiintoista tietoa Maya-historiasta. Temppelit ja asumukset olivat kauniita keskellä viidakko. Cenote oli todella kaunis, raikkaassa vedessä oli mukava uida. Lounasruoka oli hyvä ja monipuolinen.

Der Anbieter Amigo Tours hat uns vorab sehr gut informiert. Unsere Reiseleiterin Marciella hat einen super Job gemacht, sehr informativ zu Kultur, Geschichte und aktuellen Entwicklungen gesprochen, basierend auf aktuellen Forschungen v.a. In Chichen Itza. Die Zeiten für jede Aktivität haben super gepasst. Glaubt ihr, wenn sie die Tacos im Vergleich zum Buffet empfiehlt. Verbesserungsbitte an TUI: 36USD Zusatzkosten in die „nicht inbegriffen“ Liste, nicht in einem „mehr erfahren“ verstecken

At Coba we simply didn’t have enough time, we could have hired bikes but that shouldn’t have been additional if it was so necessary as we discovered. We spent a lot of time ‘shopping’ as opposed to the actual experience; and also was under the assumption we would spent some time in vallodolid, but we just lapped the Central Park in the coach and left. I was very disappointed by having to pay lots of taxes/fees.

Nicht gefallen hat mir dass man bei dem"kostenlosen" Lunch gezwungen wird sehr überteuerte Getränke zu kaufen. Gefallen hat mir die Organisation, der Reiseleiter war perfekt vorbereitet und sein Fahrer war super nett und zuverlässig. Pünktlichkeit Sauberkeit perfekt. Kann nur weiter empfehlen.
