To begin with, the driver arrived approximately 20 minutes late. Upon arrival, the bus was found to have a flat tyre on the left side, causing an immediate delay to our trip. The driver then diverted to his home to collect his phone, resulting in further unnecessary delay. At no point did he offer an apology for the inconvenience caused. In addition, there was a piece of metal protruding from the step of the bus, which posed a significant safety hazard. The overall experience was awful!!!

Too many pickups, over 2 hours to get there! Shops far too expensive, no guidance really on what to see or do, bus broke down and 2 hour wait to get another, no offer of complimentary drink while we waited for the replacement bus. Long boring hot day, exhausting and not worth the money!

De chauffeur van de heenreis rijdt gevaarlijk. Veel op zijn telefoon, met meerdere dingen bezig, behalve rijden. Thessaloniki zelf was leuk! Hostess zei dat er een toet met uitleg in Engels bij zit, dat was niet zo. Hebben we zelf via hop on hop off bus gedaan, kosten 16 euro per persoon. 16.15 uur zouden we teruggaan, bus was er niet. Kwam na half 5 pad en toen bleek airco kapot (waren in ochtend ook al problemen mee). Uiteindelijk pas 17.48 uur terug naar hotel met andere bus, 19.15 uur thuis.

The trip was ridiculously expensive. I would have been happy with paying £10-£15 for it. We don’t usually bother with TUI trips and this confirms why. When we got to Thessaloniki the guide spoke to the mainly German people on the bus for quite a long time. However she only said a few things to the English speaking people.

Rep informed us that coach trip would be 1hr - 2hrs later we arrived. We then had to wait another 10 mins for an interpreter to turn up just to inform us when to return to coach. The driver could have done this by holding up a clock! Rep also informed us that old town etc 15 minutes walk- nothing was that close. In 32 degree heat would not recommend

Wir wurden im Hotel pünktlich abgeholt, hatten dann nach ca 1 1/2 Std Busfahrt, 6 Stunden Zeit in Thessaloniki, mit zwei geduldigen Kindern war es ok, allerdings würde ich es mir sonst mit Kindern gut überlegen. -es sei denn man plant zb noch eine Fahrt mit einer der angebotenen Schiffstouren, zb die Black Pearl… Die Rückfahrt lief auch reibungslos, der Bus war pünktlich und schön klimatisiert. Da es sich aber um eine reine Busfahrt handelt, finde ich den Preis ziemlich hoch angesetzt.

Der Hin und Rücktransfer nach Thessaloniki klappte einwandfrei für uns. Thessaloniki ist es wert zu besichtigen eine wunderschöne Stadt mit freundlichen Leuten und viel zu sehen. Es wäre für den Rücktransfer bzw. für den Fahrer einfacher wenn sich alle ihr Hotel merken würden.

Hi we were sold the trip because I asked for a trip to see some history not go on a shopping trip. We were on the coach for 2 and a half hours going and over 2 hours getting back there were so many pickups/drop offs that took the bus right out of the way.

Thessaloniki itself was okay to look around and we had plenty of time to visit. I feel we were mis sold this by our rep. She told us it was cheaper than the local buses and that the journey was quicker. It was actually more expensive and a considerably longer travel time.

Return journey delay of 20 mins caused by the “ guide” not being able to count! A recount made 11 times over a 30 minute period before she realised she didn’t include a child travelling with parents ????? A simple roll call of names of those booked would have been easier and quicker. We were checked on the coach at pick up so we should have been checked back on for the return instead of a panicked guide running from bus to bus looking for alleged “missing” person.

Enjoy the Town Center. But me and my family do think you should have a better map to tell people where things are if you're not doing the guided tour and I think you should have an option of two departure times to back to the hotel cuz some people especially people with Mobility needs all children with additional needs it can be too much for the full whole day. As I am talking from experience as my husband has Mobility needs and my nine year old son as autism and just found it too overwhelming .

Coach was 50 minutes late for our pickup. No reason given. Coach was tired and not in a good condition. We almost abandoned the trip because we had no idea what was going on. TUI uk support were able to fill us in eventually but again no reason why the lateness of pick up. Dolphins, your coach contractor are not providing the service your expect and are clearly not working to any KPI's or service level agreements.

De vrijheid om zelf de stad te bezoeken is top maar houd er rekening mee dat de heenreis in de bus al snel 2 uur duurt. Eenmaal in thessaloniki kan ik je aanraden om je dag te beginnen bij bougatsa giannis voor de lekkerste bougatsa. Je wordt op een centraal punt afgezet en ook weer opgehaald. Tijden worden duidelijk aangegeven.

Det ingick en guidad stadstur i tur-och returbiljetten. Vi följde med och fick ta del av stadens historia och vackra byggnader. Min dotter uppskattade också guidningen! Det kunde ha varit 1-2 timmar extra för egen shopping utöver de timmar som ingick. En fantastisk upplevelsedag! En trevlig TUI värd på hotellet!!

This was a good trip to see the city. The downfall was that the coach arrived at the destination 1 hour before the shops and restaurants opened so you found yourself hanging around for an hour before you could do anything. The guide seems to explain a log more detail also for the German language rather than the English also. Still though the city is definitely a must see if you like old ruins and shopping

All went well with both pick-up and return, and the coach was comfortable. Thessaloniki is an interesting city; there is much to see, both ancient and modern. Our only (slight) complaint is that I asked the tour guide to tell me where the information office was and she told me there wasn’t one (you don’t need one now that we all have phones)!! However, there is one, in Aristotelous Square, and we b got a city map and good info there. We really enjoyed our day there.

We didn’t shop but we visited the market and also went on a very good sight seeing bus which was a guided one . The White Tower visit was very high Tec but you needed a QR code to get any English info and the info was mor about the towns history rather than the history of the White Tower itself which was surprising . A long day if you don’t do the hop on hop off sight seeing bus tour and a long coach drive for children ,

The bus & driver/ guide were great, other people enjoyed but it just wasn’t for us ! Another big city with just the same shops back home & it had a nice promenade which we walked back and fore to pass the time 9-4 nothing really historic apart from the tower ! it was a very long boring day

Afitos was a lovely place to visit at night. So atmospheric, bustling with life. The village square was well used by locals and tourists, we were so lucky to get a table overlooking the square where we soaked up the local atmosphere. The only negative would be the traffic getting there, but well worth a visit.

Was a lovely trip walking around the city , after we got our bearings on an Hop on hop off bus , defo recommended, worth the £16 each , it let you see wher you’d want to eat and shop , wife was elated we found Zara in the shopping area , we ate lunch at the top castle area , found a little taverna up there serving home made Mousaka , Greek salad, perfect . Hot in the city so lots of Drink stop’s recommended!

Zeer goed georganiseerd met locals. Toffe uitstap. Tip: Misschien wel op voorhand bij het boeken van de excursie meedelen dat er heel veel gezellige, authentieke restaurantjes en bars zijn. Dus dat het niet nodig is om op voorhand nog wat te eten. (Indien gewenst)

Die Fahrt nach Thesaloniki und zurück zum Hotel verlief reibungslos. Der Treffpunkt in der Stadt, an dem alle abgesetzt wurden, (weißer Turm), war eindeutig und sehr leicht zu finden. Die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war ortskundig und zuvorkommend. Thesaloniki selbst, erkundeten wir selbst. Definitiv ist es besser und gemütlicher auf diese weise nach Thessaloniki zu fahren, als mit dem Taxi oder einem Mietwagen. Der Verkehr ist teilweise sehr chaotisch.

Dames van tui (Engels) in hotel waren heel lief en eerlijk en vertelden ook dat het Fijner zou zijn om het met bus te doen zodat je zelf niet in de hele drukke stad hoeft te rijden met een huur auto en parkeren is erg duur in Saloniki en je moet ver lopen voor je bij stad bent Vanuit kalives is het goed te doen dan ben je een goed uur met de bus aan het rijden vanuit kassandra schijnt het wel een rit van bijna 2 uur te zijn Bij aankomst bij de witte toren stopt de bus en Loop je zo de stad

Op zich was een retourticket voor Thessaloniki een goede keus.We werden alleen opgehaald door een chauffeur die het niet zo nam met de veiligheid, hij belde aan een stuk door vanaf het ophaalpunt tot het verzamelpunt.Handjes van het stuur en tot onze verbijstering stopte hij op de uitvoegstrook om een verhit gesprek te voeren met iemand aan de andere kant van de lijn. Op het verzamelpunt moesten we zo'n 25 minuten wachten op een bus en dat in de volle ochtendzon.Maar Thessaloniki was de moeite.

Alles war ganz wunderbar organisiert, die Abholung an den vereinbarten Orten erfolgte jeweils pünktlich, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, man wurde exakt im Zentrum Thessalonikis abgesetzt und die eingeplante Zeit für den Stadtbummel war optimal. Nur bei der letzten Abfahrt wurden die Namen der eingestiegenen Gäste nicht kontrolliert, so dass es theoretisch möglich gewesen wäre, dass jemand in der Stadt vergessen wird/in den falschen Bus steigt. Es hat aber alles ganz wunderbar geklappt!

De bus was voor de afgesproken tijd aanwezig. We waren redelijk snel in Thessaloniki waar we tot 16.15 uur de tijd hadden. Alles ging voorspoedig. Zowel de heen- als de terugreis.

We just had the bus journey which was great for shopping and sightseeing on our own. The bus seats were rather cramped together which made it a bit squashed for tall people.

Hassle free transportation, punctual bus arrival. Would recommend either buses with on-board toilet or better toilet facilities at drop-off/pick-ul location

Prettig dat je op een simpele manier naar Thessaloniki kunt komen. Transfer met alle pickups duurt wel relatief lang, 2 uur in de bus. Bus was ook echt helemaal vol.
