Just a stone's throw away from Chichen Itza lies another lesser-known wonder – the Tsukan cenote. Coined the 'Sanctuary of Life' from the locals, this underground cave is steeped in nature. In fact, it's been mainly untouched from how it was originally found, with the only addition being a proper staircase to access the pristine water. Enjoy time swimming, relaxing and lapping up the traditional side of Yucatan.
