Cosa aspettarsi
Potete scegliere tra le seguenti opzioni:- Opzione 1: circa 9 ore di tour con una guida autorizzata.- Opzione 2: circa 8 ore di tour autoguidato, con l'uso di una guida e di una mappa nella lingua prescelta.Partite da Cracovia per raggiungere la piccola città di Oświęcim e visitate il più grande complesso di campi di concentramento nazisti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Scoprite la terribile storia degli oltre 1,3 milioni di vittime che persero la vita ad Auschwitz e Birkenau e rendetegli omaggio.La prima parte del viaggio consiste in una visita di 1,5 ore al campo di Auschwitz I per vedere la mostra permanente nelle ex caserme dei prigionieri.Successivamente, visiterete Auschwitz II-Birkenau, la parte più grande del complesso di Auschwitz. La visita durerà circa 1 ora e 10 minuti se si sceglie l'opzione guidata, o circa 40 minuti per l'opzione autoguidata. Qui potrete vedere i resti dei crematori, la rampa di scarico, le baracche originali e il memoriale dedicato alle ultime vittime del campo.

Da sapere in anticipo:
Per l'opzione 1, l'orario di inizio del tour può variare in base alla disponibilità della guida del museo. I biglietti vengono ritirati in loco. Potrebbero verificarsi code. Le visite guidate in inglese sono soggette a disponibilità; in caso contrario, viene fornita una guida in un'altra lingua con un libro in inglese.
Per l'opzione 2, avrete a disposizione una guida e una mappa nella lingua scelta. L'accompagnatore non entra nel museo con voi. La guida è disponibile in inglese, polacco, spagnolo, italiano, francese, tedesco, olandese, ceco, portoghese, russo, ucraino, ungherese, greco, turco, svedese, norvegese, finlandese, giapponese e coreano.
Si prega di notare che, a seconda del periodo dell'anno, è possibile visitare prima il campo di Birkenau e poi il campo di Auschwitz 1.
Tutti i partecipanti devono fornire il proprio nome e cognome e i dati di contatto al momento della prenotazione. Si prega di assicurarsi che il nome sul documento d'identità corrisponda esattamente a quello fornito al momento della prenotazione per evitare problemi all'ingresso.
Il museo potrebbe modificare l'orario della visita, con ripercussioni sull'orario di ritiro. La conferma definitiva verrà inviata via e-mail uno o due giorni prima della visita. A causa dell'elevato numero di visitatori, Auschwitz-Birkenau può cancellare i tour o le guide con breve preavviso. In tal caso, sarete informati e vi saranno offerte delle alternative, se possibile.
Tutti i visitatori devono superare i controlli di sicurezza prima di entrare nel museo.
È possibile selezionare la lingua desiderata per la guida e la mappa - non si tratta di un tour audio.
L'orario di inizio è approssimativo e soggetto a modifiche.
Verrete prelevati dal centro di Cracovia, dopo esservi incontrati di fronte all'hotel Mercure, e sarete riaccompagnati all'hotel Radisson Blu.
Opzione visita guidata: si prega di notare che l'orario di inizio della visita può variare a causa della disponibilità della guida del museo. I biglietti si ritirano in loco presso le biglietterie (inclusi nel prezzo). Potrebbe essere necessaria una coda. Le visite guidate in inglese sono soggette a disponibilità. Se non è disponibile una guida di lingua inglese, la visita sarà condotta in un'altra lingua e i partecipanti riceveranno una guida in inglese.

Was booked for a full day tour pick up at 8.30 this changed to pick up time 11.15 didn’t enter austwich untill 2 pm was very rushed from time to austwich to berkenher booked a full day tour only got half a day can anyone explain why this happened

Had confirmation the night before, not 1-2 days as stated, the time was changed by 30mins. Not enough time to walk around Birkenau before getting the bus to Auschwitz. The site itself was an unforgettable experience

We waited two and a half hours for pick up and nobody came this is absolutely ridiculous and terrible service we could have used the time to do something else . It's freezing cold there are no toilets nearby and we didn't have any lunch. The day has been ruined we didn't get to the venue

The experience itself was great although I did not expect to have to queue for nearly 3 hours when I had pre-booked tickets. I think some people may have found this quite difficult so a heads up that it might occur would have been nice.

Original guided tour cancelled at last minute by tui, meaning all other guided tours were booked so we had to go for a self guided tour. No apology, or any attempt to make amends for this by tui Was not told at point of booking that we would have to queue at auscwitz to actually get tickets. Despite being picked up at 0815, we didn't actually enter the museum until 1300, leaving nowhere near enough time to get around the 2 sites and see everything. No tui staff to be seen anywhere.

I booked the Aushwitz tour with musement.com and I have to say that I really enjoyed going to Aushwitz. I would highly recommend the trip. Some parts are sad. Booking it with musement.com was so simple and would recommend booking with them.

An amazing but awful place to visit, very humbling. Jacob my tour guide was very helpful and friendly and made everything clear. Unfortunately I didn’t realise how much walking was involved, I knew there would be some but never the amount experienced, so please make sure you’re able to manage.

Positive-the guide and driver very organised and helpful.
Wish I booked a guided tour instead. The lack of time and reading the booklet to see where you are took away from the experience.

Comfortable journey with the excellent guide, Kris. Kris gave us clear instructions as well as interesting facts /insights at various locations before we were dropped off at Birkenau. Having a self-guided tour was perfect - we could go at our own pace and take time to reflect where we wanted.

Our driver Mark was really lovely and was full of information. The day of our tour it was 30c, on our return to Mark he had bottles of water for us all. Mark went above and beyond for us as my nephew left his cap in his car. Mark returned it to us the following evening to our hotel.

Auschwitz war intressant, das meiste war mir aber bereits bekannt, ein zwei gute Dokumentationen im Tv reicht eigentlich.
Die aufhäufung der Schuhe und Koffer sah in den Dokumentationen im Tv grösser aus! die Kleidungstücke wurden auf einer schrägen Fläche so ausgestellt dass es nach mehr aussieht.
