Da generazioni le cascate di Algar sono conosciute dagli abitanti del luogo come "la fonte della salute", e con un tuffo rigenerante nelle sue limpide pozze d'acqua a cascata scoprirete perché. Potrete sorseggiare un drink al bar ai piedi delle cascate o cenare all'aperto in tranquille aree picnic lungo la riva del fiume. Qualunque sia il modo in cui trascorrerete la giornata, sarete certi di godere di un'area di tale bellezza naturale che viene spesso utilizzata come scenario paradisiaco per la televisione e il cinema.

Dal 1° luglio al 31 agosto, a causa della grande affluenza di visitatori, le fasce orarie di visita saranno le seguenti:09:00-13:0013:00-16:0016:00-20:00
Non sarà possibile rimanere nelle cascate di Algar per tutto l'orario di apertura, ma solo per la durata di una delle tre fasce orarie e si dovrà uscire al termine della fascia oraria prescelta.
In luglio e agosto non è consentito cibo
Nella biglietteria numero 2 ci sono armadietti gratuiti in cui è possibile lasciare il proprio cibo
Ci sono diverse aree picnic
Portate con voi scarpe da acqua perché le rocce possono essere talvolta frastagliate
Nei mesi di dicembre, gennaio e febbraio le cascate sono aperte dalle 9.00 alle 15.30.
È consentito nuotare nel fiume e il servizio di salvataggio è disponibile durante la Pasqua e la stagione estiva. Al di fuori di questi periodi, la balneazione è consentita a proprio rischio e pericolo.

Het was genieten! De drukte viel enorm mee waardoor je op sommige stukken rustig kon zitten. Het mindere was misschien nog het parkeren, het is nog wel een stuk lopen vanaf de parkeerplaats, je kan doorrijden maar dat staat niet aangegeven.

Booked online for 3 Adults 1 13yr old. Made our way on bus from Benidorm. €4 each each way. Tickets for falls €3 ea. bus journey around 40 mins. Gorgeous restaurant as you enter falls area. Lovely meal there. Then down to falls. A wonderful experience swimming & jumping. Great photo opps.

Het is ontzettend mooi, maar ook erg druk! Het water was kouder dan verwacht. Wel heel schoon en helder.
Tip, ga niet naar de eerste parkeerplaats. Er zijn meerdere te vinden richting de ingang en dat scheelt weer een stuk lopen (parkeren kost je 5 euro).

It is stunning but it so unorganised although it seems easily fixable.
At peak times there doesn’t seem to be any regulation on max occupancy. For this venue it could be dangerous. Very few lockers available to rent (cheap though) and 1 changing room. Upgrade and it would be fantastic

Had to find a way there so cost75 Euros travel but only 4 to get in ??. There’s only 1 bud from Benidorm at 9.55 and back at 5pm and that’s far too long! Get a private trip if it’s offered but not all day as they stop you taking food in. Stayed about 2 hours as that was enough as only a swim in the water. Worth the visit, everyone was having fun. Not for prams at all so don’t even consider it. Lovely bar on way down sorted our taxi back or we’d of been stuffed ??

brilliant day out exploring the waterfalls but the ticket office didnt even have my name down with the prebooked tickets i had printed out and done everything it said, rock shoes a must, but forgot my plastic waterproof case for my fone with was a bummer, got some mega pics and the water was bliss

Heel mooie omgeving, zalig om af te koelen in het water en super leuk om te klimmen en te klauteren. Waterschoenen zijn zeker niet overbodig, tenzij je pijnlijke voeten wilt. In het winkeltje aan de ingang vonden we een heel vriendelijke meneer die voor ons een super taxichauffeur belde. En die sprak nog eens vrij vlot Engels ook. Een waterdicht zakje voor gsm is zeker geen overbodige luxe als je via het water het traject wilt afleggen, je hebt regelmatig eens 2 handen nodig om niet te vallen

Un sitio espectacular, el agua está fresquita pero se agradece, recomiendo ir a primera hora para poder aparcar lo más arriba posible, porque hay una cuesta considerable, nosotros llegamos a las 10:00, no olvides llevar escarpines, se clavan las piedras en los pies y no es seguro andar así

A great way to spend a morning / afternoon at the waterfalls. Good amount of parking. Entry price reasonable. Great fun swimming at the waterfall but take some swim shoes as the stones hurt your feet if you don’t.
