Preparatevi a un'avventura in 4x4 che vi porterà fuori dai sentieri battuti. Esplorate gli angoli rurali di Creta e immergetevi nella natura mentre attraversate le montagne su piste sterrate. Scoprite il cuore di Creta, la sua ricca mitologia, la sua flora e fauna e l'affascinante vita locale. Katerina, una delle nostre esperte guide locali, dice: "Le cime accartocciate delle montagne di Creta risuonano di storie della mitologia greca: Zeus, il dio greco responsabile dei tuoni e dei fulmini, nacque in una grotta sulle montagne di Creta, e fu qui che Teseo uccise il minotauro".Inizieremo con un percorso in auto lungo sentieri panoramici e uliveti, passando davanti ad antiche reliquie mentre ci inerpichiamo attraverso le colline di Creta. Faremo poi scalo in un piccolo villaggio dove potrete degustare raki e olio d'oliva con la gente del posto. L'olio d'oliva cretese è apprezzato per la sua purezza e il suo sapore, oltre che per l'alto contenuto di polifenoli e la bassa acidità, che lo rendono molto salutare.Da qui inizia la vera avventura in fuoristrada: ci addentriamo nelle montagne e seguiamo un antico sentiero utilizzato dai pastori per raggiungere le greggi nei pascoli estivi. Nelle capanne dei pastori, il latte fresco di capra viene utilizzato per produrre un gustoso formaggio fatto in casa. Poi, ci recheremo in una taverna a conduzione familiare per un pranzo tipico locale - è disponibile anche un'opzione vegetariana - con vino illimitato. Scoprirete un altro lato di Creta grazie ad autisti professionali e informati che vi racconteranno tutto sulla loro isola, dalla vita locale alla storia, dalla fauna alla cucina.

Das war mal eine Tour nach meinem Geschmack. Quer durchs Landesinnere, ab vom Tourismus. Super. Das Beste war unser Guide Thomas. Alles genau erklärt. Geschichten zum Thema erzählt, die Landschaft erläutert. Wildwachsende Gewürze gezeigt, gepflückt und kosten lassen. Sogar gesungen haben wir. Absolute 10 Punkte. Die nächste Tour mit Thomas ist schon gebucht. Danke an das Team von Safari-Club und vor allen an Thomas. Weiter so.

Excellent tour. One of the best we’ve been on. Friendly, very attentive towards each customer on board. The best knowledge of the area, such wealth of knowledge from our tour guide Geoff. Beautiful villages, the best views and the experience of natural products. The food stop was great as well. We would do it all again.

Die Sitzplätze im Land Rover hinten sind weniger für große Menschen geeignet. Das Wasser am Palmenstrand war für mich etwas zu kalt, da sich das Meerwasser mit dem Quellwasser mischt. Guide "Lefterius" war spitze! Wir haben ihm insbesondere auf der Rücktour viele Fragen zu Kreta/Griechenland außerhalb der Tourthemen gestellt und er hat sie mit Freude beantwortet. Die Tour war das Highlight unseres Kreta-Besuchs!

Colle Tour aber die Anreise etwas chaotisch und teilweise etwas stressig unterwegs, sodass man gewisse Spots garnicht geniessen konnte. Der Guide erzählte viel und auch sonst war es spannend.

Der Tour-Guide war super nett und hat uns zu jeder Zeit interessante Informationen zu Land, Leuten und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Man hatte viele kleine Stopps, bei denen man genug Zeit hatte, alles zu erkunden. Man konnte dem Guide auch Fragen stellen, die er gerne beantwortet hat. Der Besuch beim Schäfer mit der Verkostung des selbstgemachten Käse war ein Highlight. Das abschließende gemeinsame Essen in einem kleinen Dorf war auch sehr gut und gemütlich. Würden wir jederzeit wieder machen.

Top d'aller là où peu de touristes vont. Repas à la taverne au top. Notre guide parfait avec les anecdotes sur tous les sujets. Paysages splendides. Prix ok mais il devrait y avoir une reduction pr les familles nombreuses, ça fait vite 350euros pr une journée à 5. Seul bémol, pouvoir suivre le tracé sur une carte pr voir où on est exactement et pouvoir changer de place plus svt. L'arrière est moins confort.

Es war ein superschöner Ausflug. Unser Guide hieß Costa, er hat uns mega viel gezeigt und erklärt, er war absolut spitze und hat für ne tolle Stimmung gesorgt. Man hat gemerkt das es für ihn nicht einfach ein Job ist, sondern das ihm wichtig ist, das man Kreta und seine Leute von einer anderen Seite als nur vom Tourismus kennenlernt. Die Landschaft und Aussicht war atemberaubend und wir haben uns während der Fahrt immer sicher gefühlt. Wir waren 8 Leute, war auch ne super sympathische Gruppe :)

Die gesamte Tour war großartig. Unser Guide Costa war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und konnte jede unserer Fragen beantworten. Wir hatten jede Menge Spaß an diesem Tag. Für den Preis wurde sehr viel geboten und kann nur weiterempfohlen werden.

It was an enjoyable day out but we could have done with having lunch earlier. We were picked up at 8.10 but didn't have lunch until around 14.15. The visit to the olive oil factory & the shepherd's area were great though.

Die gesamte Tour war sehr schön. Nur die letzten 10 min waren nicht so toll. Wir haben uns die ganze Tour auf die Olivenölverkostung und Besichtigung der Olivenfarm gefreut und wurden am Ende total enttäuscht. Wir wurden nicht sonderlich empfangen, dann hat unser Fahrer auch noch die Führung selber gemacht und dann bekamen wir auch nur noch 10 min, um das Olivenöl auch noch selber zu verkosten ohne Erklärungen und Empfehlungen. Keine Brothäppchen oder Käse dazu. Das war doll...

Great tour guide Gary. Great knowledge of the area and gave us lots of info as we went. Great humour and fun day. I think we had the right amount of people (6) Lovely to see some authentic Cretan villages meet people and buy authentic goods. Food was great, only slight issue was there was a young lad wandering around at the place we ate who I think was a relative of the owners. We were eating our food and he was picking his nose he was clearly autistic but it wasn’t nice when we were eating ??

Costa was an incredible, knowledgeable, and fun guide. Made an effort to get to know us and showed us so much of the island and filled the day with interesting facts and history. Can't see a way to improve the trip besides maybe improving AC in the cars but opening windows worked just fine

Wir hatten die Tour eigentlich mit dem Jeep gebucht und dass hat nicht ganz so geklappt wie vereinbart. Costa unser Guide hat aber mit seiner netten und umsichtigen Art dazu beigetragen, dass am Ende die Tour ein voller Erfolg war. Wir hatten viel Spaß und haben vieles über Kreta , die Flora und Fauna dort erfahren. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis!

What an amazing day out! Gary the goat killer was brilliant – full of knowledge, great fun, and so easy to get along with. I loved how he’d suddenly stop when he spotted something interesting, it made the trip feel like a real adventure. The sights and planned stops were fantastic, giving us a taste of village life, and the food was absolutely lovely. It’s a trip that works for both adults and kids, and honestly, worth every penny. I’d happily do it all over again – thanks Gary

Unser Fahrer Andreas hat das den gannzen Tag super gemacht. Er war höchstmotiviert und auch pünktlich. Meiner Meinung sind die Gurten für kleine Kinder nicht der Hit aber es ging trotzdem ihrgendwie.

Cristian (sans h) (mdr) notre guide etait parfait trop gentil ,un très bon co docteur pas eu mal au coeur . Il explique bien l histoire de la crete on a adoré ,il nous a cueillis les fruits des arbres franchement trop mignon .Il et multifonction car il a etait notre serveur aussi pour le repas du midi . This was a fun fact filled experience made extra special by our fantastic guide Daryl The lunch was more like a banquet than a bite to eat The only negative would be the Mythological Gardens which were a little disappointing although there was an alternative but the Gardens were chosen only given the Cave of Zeus was closed and there were young people in the group

Une expérience très enrichissante par la découverte des montagnes crétoises et ses paysages, des habitants, de leur mode de vie, des produits régionaux, de la qualité du mode de vie dans ces montagnes. Cette excursion nous a permis de découvrir une très belle personnalité : notre guide chauffeur très expérimenté Michalis Xanthakis qui reste un souvenir très attachant. Mon mari âgé de 85 ans a beaucoup apprécié son assistance, ses conseils avec gentillesse, sens du contact. Grand merci à lui !

Es war ein super schönes Erlebnis Kreta mal auf einer anderen Seite kennen zu lernen. Unser Guide Thomas hat uns viel über das ursprüngliche Kreta erzählt. Es war auf humorvolle Weise und sehr informativ. Da wir nur in kleinen Gruppen unterwegs waren, war das auch sehr angenehm . Wir würden diese Tour immer wieder buchen. Die Tour war ein Highlight für uns. Der Führer hat mit viel Humor und Wissen über Kultur und das ursprüngliche Kreta den Tag für uns zum Erlebnis gemacht. Alle Stationen und das köstliche Essen in der Taverne haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir würden die Tour immer wieder buchen.

Visite de l'entrée d'une grotte avec dégustation fade, visite d'un monastère abandonné depuis 2 siècles, baignade dans une petite cric certes belle, mais sans plus, repas correct sans plus, parcours dams des régions arides déserte puis 2h de route pour le retour. Seul le guide était sympa mais n'avait pas grand chose a dire... déception

We had a brilliant day. Our guide Geoff was great from start to finish, very knowledgeable about Crete culture. Kept us entertained throughout. The stops were good too, especially the close ups with the local wildlife. We really enjoyed this experience.

Die ganze Tour war gut organisiert, der Guide Thomas war super und wußte viel und interessant zu erzählen. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Würde die Tour jederzeit wieder machen. Der Tag war sehr schön und informativ.

Driver was super friendly and very informative. Would have liked to of had lunch at one of the lovely Greek taverns in the mountains not a run down one on the coast where the food was average at best. Overall we really enjoyed our day.

Kosta unsere fahrer war einfach genial sehr freundlich hat uns viel von der insel erzählt flora und faune auch wildkräuter hat er uns gezeigt und durften daran riechen und feigen frisch vom baum essen. Er ist auch sehr gut gefahren war sehr aufmerksam wir hatten eine tolle gruppe haben uns supper verstanden Die grösse der gruppen sind ideal das essen war sehr fein Für uns ein gelungener tag Sicher auch dank kosta
