Hit the road in a 4x4 and travel through Zante's top-class countryside to explore tiny villages, time-worn towns and the monasteries of Yperagathos and Agios Georgios. After free time for lunch, it's time to relax on the remote Makri Gialos beach for free time to sunbathe and swim. There's also a sunset option, with Makri Gialos, Agios Georgios monastery, wine tasting in Exo Hora and free time in Kampi for dinner and sunset.

The first stop was kinda useless only been on tour for about ten mins and we stop at a restaurant for 25 mins. Nothing to see around restaurant and you felt obligated to buy a drink. The rest of tour was great. The driver was fantastic. Highly recommended

We enjoyed seeing the island of Zante. The guide was friendly but the 4x4 was very old and we wondered if it was in fact not road worthy. We didnt do as much as the experience suggested just flying visits and not opportunity to swim.

Spiros the guide was wonderful. Perfect English and obviously enjoyed being a guide. The weather was good and we crossed over the mountains. I would certainly recommend. The shop where we did the olive oil tasting at the village where the oldest Olive tree is brilliant and so many nice gifts to choose from.

Titel ist total irreführend. Man fährt über die Insel, hält aber in keinem der genannten Dörfer, sondern fährt nur durch. Kloster gab es KEIN EINZIGES zu besichtigen. 8 jeeps in Kolonne und in jedem sitzen die Leute eingepfercht in uralten Autos. Und zu spät kam der Fahrer auch. Nennt es doch: Jeep Safari mit Photo Stopps. Das trifft es. Ach ja: bei TUI kostet die Tour (trotz angeblicher 10 % Sommerrabatt) immer noch 20 % mehr. :-( Für mich: klare Abzocke. Hält nicht was es verspricht.

We booked this excursion because we wanted to experience something different by exploring Zante and seeing the villages and the monasteries as detailed in the write up. Unfortunately we spent a lot of our day in cafes or restaurants in remote areas where there was nothing to see. We thought we would enjoy the 4x4 experience but unfortunately we were both sat in the far back of the vehicle where visibility was poor.

Nothing about this trip was enjoyable. ( except for getting back to our hotel) We didn’t go to any monetary , like it said on our tickets , and what the tui rep sold us . we had 6 people in our 4 by 4 and we followed 8 more 4x4 like a convoy. guide never spoke much to us , there was no air conditioning. 8 hours looking out of the window, and sweating was very unpleasant. I would say torture trip worst ever trip .

Great morning of stops and sights around Zante, nice lunch viewpoint. Ended abruptly in the afternoon, no further stops, dropped off at 3/3:30. Expected a few more stops in the afternoon, maybe the navagio beach viewpoint.

Great way to see different parts of the island, winding through narrow village streets, to up high in the mountains with beautiful stunning scenery . Lovely stop at wine tasting and local produce and also managed to see a turtle. Our guide very friendly and courteous. Only thing was swim stop was only 20 minutes so opted to have a cold drink in the cafe instead.

Excellent experience with a very perceptive and knowledgeable guide Dimitri. Blue caves optional boat trip was incredible and we had a beautiful swim. Felt safe and well cared for throughout and we laughed alot. Only negative was that there was no monastery visit so the trip should clarify this as I don't recall this being mentioned. Feel bad we didnt tip our guide as he so deserved it but we forgot! Nieces who are teens said it was the best part of our holiday which is a massive compliment.

Dimitri, from pick up to drop off, was excellent and relaxing as a driver. The trip was informative, packed with great experiences and was truly the best way to end a week in Zakynthos. The blue caves were an excellent addition, but note that they cost £15 per person extra. The ending activity of the tasting was a let down, and was instead a selling presentation of a farms many, MANY, oil products that apparently cure everything from famine to gout. Lovely drive, great sights and good company!

Our tour guide, Adonis, was really helpful and went out of his way to make our day as enjoyable as possible. We had been told we would be travelling in an open topped jeep, holding 6 passengers. We travelled in a car but with just the 3 of us it as passengers so the day was much more relaxed and personal. We all felt that this trip was the hi light of our holiday and enabled us to see the real Zakinthos.

He turned up with 4people in the car and wanted me to sit on a bumper seat at the back which I could not fit into. So if I could not fit in how was another 2 more people supposed to fit in there with me. I was wrongly sold as I was told it was just me and my partner on the trip. I have put a complaint in and trying to get my money back as I didn’t go on the trip as couldn’t fit in the 4x4 the tour guild was no help at all

Leukste vondt ik dat je meer van het eiland ziet hoe groen het is en niet alleen maar de over volle toeristen plaatsen .Echt authentieke dorpen. Minder vondt ik dat er geen zwemstop bij zat. De gids was super vriendelijk wist ook wat te vertellen over het eiland.

Mein Fahrer wartete auf 2 Personen, falsche Info vom Büro. 2. Hotel 2 Personen es waren jedoch 3 ?? sehr beengte Sitzmoeglichkeit. Es wurde als Jeep Safari bezeichnet hatte damit aber garnichts zu tun. Fahrer sehr bemüht aber Preis / Leistung stimmt hier nicht

Overall not very much of interest to visit. First we travelled 20 mins only to then stop for 70 mins for a breakfast stop which we found a waste of time as we had just eaten at the hotel. The restaurant stop at lunch time was okay. Beach stop was only 40 mins, terrible beach small and rocky no time to do swim, was a waste of time. Olive grove, nothing to see and was just a sales pitch to buy the products. Felt the stops were more for the benefit of driver for free drinks and food for drivers.

Fabulous day trip. Turtle-spotting, coffee/beach stop, smugglers cove, monastery, local shopping opportunity (honey was amazing), lunch at an epic cliff-top taverna. Spiros was a great host/driver/guide. He pointed out local highlights along the way and seemed to know everyone. We never felt rushed. We were a party of six (three couples) in a Land Rover Discovery. Thoroughly recommend this excursion. Improvement? A later start/finish to allow a view of the sunset over the west coast.

Gute Tour um einen Überblick über die Insel zu bekommen. Der Guide Spiros war sehr nett und hat jede Frage beantwortet, leider von selbst nicht so viel erzählt, was aber auch an der Gruppe gelegen hat. Ob es das Auto, mit dem die Tour durchgeführt wurde, in Deutschland durch den TÜV schaffen würde, darf bezweifelt werden...

Veel gezien leuke plekjes, soms indrukwekkend Alleen het restaurant waar we lunchten was minder , ontzettend vet. Alhoewel het geen safari is maar een rit over het eiland met een gids die goed de weg weet, hebben we erg genoten van deze trip Zeker een aanrader deze trip. Ps deze man verdiend wel een keer een nieuwe auto van tui.

Uitstekende gids met een passie voor zijn land. Als aanvulling zou ik persoonlijk de mogelijkheid koppelen voor een boottocht naar de blauwe grotten. De 4X4 is heel uitgebreid en toont je echt alle mooi plekken van het eiland!

Unser Guide wirkte sehr gelangweilt und hat nicht viel mit uns gesprochen.Man hatte sehr schnell das,Gefühl, dass er überhaupt keinen Bock auf seinen Job hat.Wir waren uns selbst überlassen. Es war eigentlich nur 1 Spazierfahrt, mit 4x4 hat das nichts zu tun. Sehr enttäuschend insgesamt. Den tollen Guide von dem da alle in den Bewertungen schreiben kamen wir leider nicht in Genuss. Schade.

Die ganze Tour hat mir und auch allen anderen, die mit waren super gut gefallen. Gefühlt habe ich die ganze Insel gesehen und jeden Punkt in meinem Reiseführer abgehakt. Der Guide hatte nicht viel Fachwissen, aber dafür hatte ich meinen Reiseführer. Dafür hat er uns ganz viel gezeigt, was nicht in der Beschreibung stand, unter Anderem haben wir Karett Schildkröten gesehen... eine tolle Tour...kann ich nur empfehlen und würde sie jedesmal wieder machen...und Preis-Leistung...meeega

A good way to see the island. We even saw a turtle on this trip that we didn’t on the turtle spotting one. Guide was good & informative. Lunch service at the restaurant we stopped at was very slow, they should maybe be informed that we were with a tour & only had 1hr rather than just being left to go in & us try to hurry them. We had a good day out.

Picked up from hotel, taken to some beautiful spots around the island, some Of the history of the island shared with us, stopped at some shops that did homemade items and wine/alcohol tasting but other things to see and do if you don’t drink. Went for a swim in a gorgeous cove. Stopped at a lovely restaurant for a 1 hour break (reasonable price for meal and drink as not included in booking) dropped back to hotel. Really enjoyable

it's more of a tour of the island compared to what I'd call a jeep safari. only one beach stop that eats 45 to 50 mins of your trip. another stop at a local market . then o to a high poo t on a mountain. The jeeps need some work . I do t mean air con, I mean the windows should open to allow air movement around the car. For the price per person a little more time could be given to explore the island. This taking into account the closer of the ship wreck beach and area which is a big selling poin

Je verwacht bij een safari dat je veel off road gaat, maar 80 procent ging gewoon over asfalt naar plekken waar je met de auto ook prima kunt komen. De weg naar het hoogste punt van het eiland is wel echt off road en het uitzicht is daar fantastisch. Bovendien hadden we een gids die nauwelijks iets vertelde, waardoor deze trip geen meerwaarde had dan zelf een auto huren.

Very old 4x4 Would ask TUI staff to let customers know unsuitable for people with back injuries as road to mountain extremely rocky and it’s a very bumpy road. We kept meeting up with another guide who had a newer 4x4 and he did all the talking our guide did very lit and English was poor. Restaurant was good and views amazing however this could be included in price as 76.00 each was a lot for just travelling around to see view points. Beach is first stop if u want to swim.

Very little off road experience. It was a nice scenic tour around the island but we felt there should be more than the 20 min short off road drive. Expected to see more of the stony track roads. No boat trip was offered even though it was listed as an optional extra.

Really enjoyed the trip overall the highlight was at the tallest point on the island with the view, but the swim stop was only 45 minutes, so by the time you had a drink and used the facilities at the stop point you only had 20 - 30 minutes before you had to leave, the beach was shingle and if i had known I would have worn my surf shoes. The viewing platform for the shipwreck was busy with about 20+ people in the queue when we arrived, so as a group gave it a miss, 5 minutes before no queue.

Spiros what a legend! Had a a fantastic day, his knowledge of the local sites amazing. Really chilled day. Saw loads of Zante.. shipwreck.. turtles… highest point. Nice lunch at Michaelis tavern. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the trip very much and thought it wonderful to see more of the island away from the beaches. The guide was friendly and amusing. We thought that perhaps having a driver as well as a guide may be beneficial. Simply because those in the back of our vehicle could not hear what the driver was commenting on. Maybe a greater variety of stops for local items could be added

We didn’t feel like we had been given a lot of information about the island. The tour indicated monasteries and swim stops . There was only one of each. Also an optional boat trip was mentioned. You could get a boat trip at the beach stop but we was only there an hour, so not long enough for a boat trip, it was also £20 euros to hire a sunbed on the beach (for the hour ) So we ended up sat on a dusty wall

Spiros (our driver) made this trip outstanding. He was knowledgable, eager to share his knowledge, kind, attentive and above all funny. We know from talking to him that he does this tour many times a season yet we felt like we were his most important customers as I am sure he makes all people feel. We loved seeing the island, loved the monastery (I am an RE teacher) and the location for lunch was superb. Thanks Spiros … you are THEE man!!!

Leuk chauffeur, een oude jeep van alles kappot eraan....ramen, lichten, enz. Ziet er niet uit. Erg onveilige auto. Hij Kreeg hem regelmatig niet aan de praat. Vervelend voor de chauffeur.!!!!!!!! Hij moet rijden in een goed verzorgde, onderhouden auto. Geen visite plaatje. !!!!!!! Verder een super leuke dag gehad. Alles van het eiland gezien.

Dit is een echte aanrader! Heel persoonlijk, slecht met 6 personen in de 4x4. Je ziet heel veel locaties, de chauffeur stopt waar je wil indien je het vraagt (bv om foto te nemen). Je gaat naar de top van de hoogste berg van Zante waar je een prachtig zicht hebt over het hele eiland (locatie enkel off-road bereikbaar met 4x4)

The free time on the beach didn’t happen as described, we had 45 mins at a beach with a cafe mid morning so we didn’t realise this was the ‘relaxing on the beach after lunch’ part of the trip we thought there was going to be another beach after lunch and there wasn’t so clearer communication from the guide at the start of the day would have been much better! In terms of seeing places you wouldn’t normally it was great so I recommend it, just ask the guide at the start for his itinerary!

De 4x4 wheel drive scoort bij mij een 9 goede gids en super gezellig. De Zante Beach zou ik wat minder aanbevelen die scoort voor mij een 6 wordt aanbevolen als een tour maar is gewoon een rit naar het strand, ook de wandeling naar het kerkje dacht door dorpje te moeten wandelen

Insgesamt eine tolle Tour. Der Guide sprach schlechtes Englisch und hat sich nur mit dem vorderen Insassen so wirklich unterhalten und Dinge erklärt. Die, die hinten saßen mussten immer wieder nachhaken. Fahrzeugzustand mittelmäßig, insgesamt aber eine tolle Offroad-Tour die sich lohnt. Achtung: beim Mittagessen in der georgischen Taverne wird gerne zu viel berechnet!

The guide was excellent and very informative. Saw parts of the island and it's culture you would never see from a bus. Explored the island in a relaxed way. The Monastery was beautiful. Climb to the look out was amazing. The description said we would have an opportunity to swim, but this was not the case. Coffee stop was fab. Lunch stop was limited as there was only one option and it was very expensive due to the captured audience.

We saw a good mix of views/attractions, a large part of the north of the island and generally a very enjoyable day. Disappointed that no food or drink was included in the cost, but we enjoyed coffee and lunch in spectacular locations.

Die Zubringer Fahrten zum Sammelpunk der Bootsfahrt wirkte unkoordiniert. Das Englisch der TUI Mitarbeiterin war sehr schwer zu verstehen. Die 4x4 Tour war sehr gut ?? auch der Fahrer war sehr gut zu verstehen.

off road: slecht 2x 15 minuten - omhoog en naar beneden! Het is geen safari! gewoon over normale wegen op dit eiland. Helaas had de chauffeur verkeerd getankt -> water in brandstof. Om de x kilometer stonden we stil. Wij waren met 6 personen; gelukkig allen niet te groot, noch te dik.Je zit in 1 auto dat betekent 2personen in de achterbak zonder raamventilatie- wel wat frisse lucht via dak. Auto 20 jaar oude discovery. Leuke plekjes gezien. De chauffeur - sprak Engelse taal - vertelde weinig.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Tour. Wir haben viel gesehen und unser Guide Spiros hat uns viel erzählt/erklärt und immer einen lustigen Spruch auf Lager gehabt. Unser Jeep war mit 5 Leuten und der andere mit 3 Leuten (somit eine kleine Gruppe). Wurden morgens 08:45 Uhr vom Hotel abgeholt und kamen so gegen 16:30 Uhr zurück. Kann man definitiv weiterempfehlen ????

Wanneer je geen auto is deze trip helemaal een uitkomst. De weg naar het hoogste punt van het eiland is offroad, flink schudden en gaten maar heel mooi uitzicht uiteindelijk. Vriendelijke gezellige bestuurder en laat het aan de groep over hoeveel tijd ergens te besteden. Zoals meer dan een uur in de rij staan voor een foto van de blauwe grotten (rondom is het ook mooi) Houdt er rekening mee dat je niet in een luxe auto zit met airco. Wij hebben een gezellig dag ervaren.

Het wachten op de bus was een beetje chaotisch we stond lang te wachten namelijk meer dan 3kwartier. De bus kwam later aan eenmaal aangekomen hoorde we dat de andere deelnemers van de safari wel een notificatie hadden met daarop de juiste tijd terwijl wij hem half uur te vroeg hadden staan. Naast dat hadden we een gezellige tour gide die enorm grappig is en ons een leuke ervaring heeft gegeven van zakynthos

Ein toller Ausflug quer durch die Insel mit vielen bleibenden Eindrücken. Wir haben schöne Plätze gesehen wo man als Tourist normal nicht hinkommt. Und unser Fahrer Spiros war grandios, er hat uns viele interessante Informationen gegeben und mit seiner charmanten lustigen Art für super Stimmung gesorgt.

Great tour of the island giving a good overview of what Zante has to offer. The vehicle was a bit rough and ready, but the guide was helpful and friendly. We had a great day and felt it was better than spending a long time in a boat only to go to overcrowded bays.

I love the small group outings where you get to talk to people a little more. The guide had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. He was able to give a more personal feel to the information and the area. He was also able to tailor information and sights based on the interests and questions of the group Being a small group also allowed us a bit more freedom in stops and lengths of stops Visiting small villages and talking to locals was great for handmade goods Loved the off-roading

Die Jeepsafari war gut . Allerdings müsste die Beschreibung überarbeitet werden. Eine Bootstour fand nicht statt und der Badestop dauerte geraden 30 Minuten an einem Strand an einer Straße. Stattdessen fand eine Weinverkostung statt, die nirgends erwähnt wurde. Der Guide war sehr gut, er erzählte uns viel von Land und Leute. Die Tour ist allerdings nichts für Menschen mit Höhenangst .

Het leuke van de jeepsafari is dat je op plaatsen komt waar je zelf niet snel naar toe rijdt, zoals de mooie afgelegen uitzichten. Onze chauffeur heeft verder veel wetenswaardigheden gedeeld over het eiland. Wij waren met 4 personen en hadden een auto met vast dak en voor ons alleen. Er was ook een landrover zonder dak voor 8 of 10 personen. Daar zit je dan de hele tijd in de volle zon.

Zeer fijne gids en zeer bekwame chauffeur. In jullie omschrijving over het uitje staat dat er kloosters worden bezocht, verander dit naar een klooster. Ook graag in de omschrijving een aanpassing van de duur van het uitje; tussen de 4 en 8 uur is een halve dag verschil.
