Deux légendes jamaïquaines sont au cœur de cette irrésistible excursion. Vous visiterez le hameau de Highland qui a vu naître Bob Marley pour y découvrir son lieu de naissance et son mausolée. Découvrez l'un des sites naturels les plus exotiques du pays : les chutes de la Dunn.L'aventure commence dès le départ de l'hôtel alors que vous vous dirigez vers la côte pour visiter les chutes de la Dunn, l'un des lieux de tournage du fameux film de James Bond Dr No. Les chutes de 55 mètres de haut et 180 mètres de large sont parsemées de lagons et les escalader est une expérience unique en soi.Nous partirons vers l'intérieur des terres au travers de chemins sinueux et parfois un peu cahoteux pour rejoindre St Ann Parish. Attendez-vous à des paysages à couper le souffle donnant sur les montagnes de Dry Harbour avant d'arriver à Nine Mile. Le lieu de naissance de Bob est devenu un sanctuaire national où se rendent des foules de fans de musique rasta. Vous découvrirez son domicile et son dernier lieu de repos en compagnie de votre guide qui vous racontera sa vie et sa musique.

I didn’t think i would be able to climb the Dunes River Falls I almost gave up on the last climb.The guide/staff were fantastic and helped when needed. The 9 Mile was an experience the roads up to where Bob Marley was laid to rest was a little bumpy and some narrow lanes. Luckily for us we had a fantastic driver. We loved every minute of it. We would definitely recommend this experience. It was a long day 14.5 hours from pick up to drop off

It was an extremely long day. If we were staying Montego Bay side it would be better to do the two trips on separate days. Staying in Negril we didn’t have that option. Also I paid $40 for the photo package at Dunns River but didn’t receive them. Lunch wasn’t the best Chicken was cold & rice hard.

Wir empfanden die Dunn Riverfalls zu hektisch. Fast keine Zeit um sich umzuziehen. Die Wasserfalltour selbst war sehr schön. Auch nach den Riverfalls das gleiche, da war man noch nicht mal fertig umgezogen fuhr der Bus schon los.. Die Nine Miles waren intessant. Bis auf die Verkäufer in den Shops die waren schon etwas aufdringlich.. Die Gesamtzeit der Tour mit ca. 8 Stunden ist bei tatsächlichen 13 Stunden doch etwas niedrig angesetzt. Insgesamt war es eine schöne Tagestour.

This is an absolutely amazing trip that’s a must for anyone who wants to enjoy Jamaican culture and sights. Our guide went above and beyond so knowledgeable, fun , friendly and professional. Our driver was very good and showed some impressive driving skills on the busy and narrow roads. A fabulous day out and I enjoyed every minute of it!

The trips were good, the guide was very nice and helpful. I didn’t like that the 9 mile tour included a visit to the cannabis sheds before we entered the actual premises. I understand that some people want the full experience but to be told that everyone 13 and over needs to get off the bus to do this as it is a ‘smoking tour’ was not appropriate.

Weinig informatie verteld tijdens de lange rit, het ging bij de twee plekken vooral om wat te kopen. Dunns river zelf was leuk maar om naar de bus te gaan moest je verplicht langs meerdere winkels waar het zichtbaar was dat ze niet blij waren als je vriendelijk bedankte. Bij Nine Miles waren ze aan het pushen om je een joint te laten roken en andere dingen te laten kopen, ‘nee dank je wel’ werd niet gewaardeerd. Het voelde heel commercieel aan. Niet echt informatief.

The bus was a little cramped, but the journey was ok considering the distance travelled. The driver was superb to complete the miles he did. The guide was ok, a bit more cheery could possibly have made the tour more enjoyable, but she was very clear and informative. Dunn's Falls and Nine Mile were both excellent, we really enjoyed both experiences, and would recommend to all families with children age 5+.

Dunn,s river falls fantastisch mooi ook vlak bij ons hotel prima geregeld Daarna naar Nine Mile ook leuk zeer indrukwekkend vooral als je Bob Marley fan bent alleen bij het boeken zei de mevrouw van tui dat het 1 uur rijden was nou dat was bijna 2 uur dus dat was best een trip op zeer slechte wegen maar ook wel weer spannend en indrukwekkend door die wijken te rijden al met al wel aanrader

Dunn’s River Falls was amazing and our rep was fab. What a great experience. However, we then travelled a long way (few hours) to get to Nine Miles. I wish the TIU rep would’ve told us more about the nine mile tour before booking. The tour didn’t take long at all, and there was more time spent in the gift shops for us to spend money. It’s very big on cannabis and with the hot weather, small spaces and cannabis being smoked and offered in every direction made it not enjoyable. :(

The dunns falls experience was amazing however the we had can only be describe as having a death wish. His driving from Dunns falls to 9 mile was horrific. He was overtaking on blind bends, driving way o er the speed limit on narrow winding roads and as tii hi is was for an hour really took the fun out of these experiences for us. Without exaggeration I honestly thought he was going to kill us. He knew our concerns with his driving and did nothing but laugh and make him drive faster

The food is good, the coffee not so good, maybe change the choice of entertainment on the screens more often, England world cup , the staff were not very forthcoming in telling the passengers the score when asked.I Found one of the crew members very rude, I didn’t think he wanted to be there

Great guide very informative and so friendly. My only complaint would be for the Dunns river climb, you should provide the shoes not take us to a store before hand to buy cheap shoes at very inflated prices! Luckily we brought our own however half of the people on our trip were stung as they thought they were included in the trip.

The tours were great and the staff were excellent and knowledgeable. The biggest frustration was lack of information and then the add-ons you had to pay for once you arrived. Our guide D was amazing, however before we got to Dunns Rover she informed us you would not be permitted to climb unless you had water shoes and we would be stopping in order for people to buy them. NO WHERE did it say this would be the case and this was incredibly frustrating as it then limited how much we could tip.

My husband took plenty of cash with us for this trip and we had access to our bank accounts as well. I don’t think it mattered how much cash he took because it seems in Jamaica the guides at the locations ask for tips. At 9miles they were all after your money. It left a minimal amount left to tip our tour guide and driver Jerome and Captain Kirk who were awesome. Jerome told us it didn’t matter at all and he was grateful regardless. I wished the others had shown such grace tbh. Unacceptable

Dunn’s river falls was an experience not to be forgotten in a hurry.! If we’d known the climb was going to be as difficult as it was we probably wouldn’t have done it. There were times I nearly gave up and took the steps but I’m glad I didn’t now. There were climb was dangerous at times and the stones slippery, I ended up with various bruises but it was worth it and I’m glad we did it in the end. The visit to Bob Marley’s home and resting place was a lovely experience and also quite emotional.

Zeer de moeite waard. Erg lange dag, vertrek 6:30, terug om 20:30. Zeer leuke tourleiders. Gids op 9 mile was top, vertelde erg leuke verhalen over Bob Marley. Het is daar wel een geoliede toeristen val, je wordt behendig door alle souvenir shops geleid, dat maakt het wel erg commercieel. Gidsen bij de watervallen deden het erg leuk en professioneel. Kregen alleen de verkeerde foto's bij de watervallen gemaild, dus ik hoop dat ze nog wel de goede opsturen.

The Dunn's River and Nine Mile tours were fantastic, but the transportation from Negril was simply too long. We spent over 8 hours of our day stuck on a minibus (starting with a 6:20 AM pickup and ending at 8:40 PM). It's a great itinerary, but the endless driving made it a very exhausting and frustrating day.

Der Ort ist sehr abgelegen, die Straßen sind eine Herausforderung, unbefestigte Serpentinen so das der Bussfahrer ständig Happen musste. Wir haben den Ausflug als Paket gebucht Dunn's River Falls und Bob Marley Mausoleum. Unser Guide hieß Jamaika Rambo ,der war cool und lustig . Die einzigartigen, terrassenförmig angelegten Dunn's River Falls sind ein erfrischendes Abenteuer im jamaikanischen Dschungel . We would have liked more time at the bottom of the Dunns Rivers waterfalls to take own pictures. At the bottom of the waterfalls. Also please can you remind your reps to let people know that they can but pictures at the waterfalls 20usd for the photos and 40usd for video. We didn't have enough money with us to do this.

I loved every minute of this trip, I had to go solo as we brought our young son on honeymoon with us so we felt it would be too much for him to come along for the long day. I met a wonderful family who took me under their wing and treated me as one of their own, making sure I was ok and taking photos for me and offering me food. The guide was wonderful and so informative during the day I learnt a lot from her, the driver was great too. Dunn’s fall was amazing, just run through the gift shop.

De Dunns River heeft vooraf meer info nodig . bijv. hoe zwaar het al dan niet is ./ Wat wel en niet mee te nemen onderweg zoals foon/camera ,of een bandje voor je (oude) bril . Bovendien lijkt het me handig om bij het eindpunt iets van een EHBO kit te hebben . er was niet eens een pleister te vinden . De NINE MILE tour was Fantastisch !! Jammer alleen dat er geen foto's van de tombe gemaakt mochten worden . De bamboo raft was super relaxed en helemaal ZEN .

De watervallen waren fantastisch om te beklimmen! Echt een 10! Neem waterschoenen (verplicht en echt nodig) mee en een waterdicht tasje voor je camera en eventueel portemonnee, bijvoorbeeld 1 die je om je nek kan hangen. Dit kan beter vermeld worden!!! Nu moet je het duur kopen of je hebt het thuis nog liggen. De gemeenschap 9 Mile, is een lange rit naar de top van de bergen, chauffeur rijdt ook wel erg hard op de smalle weggetjes. Een joint was 25 dollar bij Bob Marley, dat kan echt goedkoper!

Overall we enjoyed the experience of dunns river and nine mile absolute wonderful. But as for the guide had no interest in her job if you asked her something it seemed that you were interrupting her phone time we were told she would be show and telling of the Jamaican culture she said 4 things all day and all the time being on her phone. As for the driver wearing driving gloves and driving as if he was on a race track this is not safe or professional next time if he is the diver me TAXI SAFE

The whole experience was amazing. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the places we were visiting, and Jamaica in general. We felt extremely welcomed, the experience of climbing Dunn’s Fall Waterfall was such an incredible experience. The staff were so supportive and helpful. The Nine Miles Tour, (Bob Marley’s place of birth and burial) was extremely emotional. The tour guides were very informative about Bob Marley’s childhood, career, his family and his passing.

Dunn's River was mooi om te doen, je hebt we echt waterschoentjes nodig omdat het anders te glad is om hem naar boven te klimmen. Nine Mile was leuk om te doen, al was de rit naar boven door de bergen soms best wel spannend met het andere grote verkeer. Het was bijzonder om het graf van `Bob Marley te zien. Benjamin de gids kon er leuk over vertellen en lekker zingen. Tamica was de gids van de dag en kon ook heel leuk vertellen en was erg gezellig. Excursie is wel erg prijzig. Prima dag gehad !

Bonjour L activité super sympa , par contre le bus pour aller/retour pourrais être un peu confortable surtout quand on part de negril pour cette activité on passe plus de 3h dans le mini bus pas très confortable et vraiment pas beaucoup de place pour le confort pour le reste tout était bien , l accueil au restaurant n était pas top non plus et des fini de manger on nous a demander de quitter le restaurant pour faire place pas très professionnel !!

Danika was our guide, very knowledgeable, bubbly and made the whole trip memorable with what we learnt about the island, fun facts and we felt safe and relaxed. Dunns falls was amazing, had enough time if there was anything that could make it better, would be a little more time on the beach before the climb. Nine mile, again felt safe, guide was very knowledgeable, felt a little rushed at the end, due to a large party arriving, but wonderful experience and together well worth the money

Ik kon in verband met knieoperatie niet de klauterpartij over de rotsen van de watervallen maken, maar wel via een mooi pad langs de watervallen omhoog lopen. Was prachtig! Nine Mile tour is een must als je van de reggae muziek van Bob Marley houdt en geïnteresseerd bent in zijn leven. De tombe van Bob Marley in het mausoleum op Mount Zion bezocht. Heel indrukwekkend. We werden wel door veel souvenir winkels geleid voordat de rondleiding. Rastafari’s waren niet pushing of vroegen niet om tips

We had the best time visiting Dunn’s River and Nine Mile. We were picked up on time by our guide Tameka and driver Phillip, shout out to them both! Tameka is a very knowledgeable guide and informed us of the history of Jamaica while we made our way to the destinations. It is a long day so be prepared, we were picked up at 7.35am and got back at 6pm. Lunch was included, which was jerk chicken and rice and peas. I highly recommend doing this tour. Thank you Tameka and Phillip!

The experience was great and so much fun. Dunns river for a fantastic experience and it was so beautiful. We had the wonderful queenie and Jermaine as our tour guides and they were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and fun the whole time. My dad is disabled and they did everything they could to make him comfortable and our experience as a family great.

A very long day, 14 hours in total. The driver we were warned, all locals drive like that! But not all locals have 12 peoples lives in their hands! Very uncomfortable and scary drive. The experiences were excellent! The guide at Dunn's Falls actually saved me from falling more than once! The guide at 9 miles was excellent! Very informative and entertaining!

Absolute fantastic day from beginning to end! Our guide for the day Flossy was brilliant, very informative and funny along with it, was a pleasure. Dunnes River Falls guides fantastic and made us feel safe the whole time, again making the climb a fun experience. On to 9 miles and really found the tour of Bobs house very interesting, learning stuff I never knew before. I would highly recommend this trip and excellent value for money.

We had a fabulous day ,priest Jerome was our guide, and he made the whole experience fun, educational , very well organised,thank you so much Hyacinth for recommending this trip to us . It did turn out to be a very long day but well worth it. The Falls were fantastic and our guide Randy ensured everyone made it to the top, and photos and video available to buy at $40 was good value.

Der im titel genannte german guide sprach kein deutsch. Der fahrer fuhr zwar relativ sicher aber man muss auf einer sehr schmalen strasse zu 9 miles nicht mit zwischengas eine rallye sonderprüfung mit 18 fahrgästen fahren. Der guide war von anfang an genervt und hat immer zeitlich gedrängt. Die letzte die fehlte war sie aber selber.

I enjoyed the experience of climbing the falls although some parts where difficult to climb and especially for older people. Nine mile trip was a grt experience tour guides were very knowledgeable. I didn't like the bus ride as it was to far to each place and driver drives to fast round mountain roads not even slowing down in the rain ,no health n safety ie safety belts coverall approximately 11 hrs out on trip for about 3 hrs experience very tiring

So first of all, Dunns River Falls and Nine Mile were just what I wanted and expected. Donna the bus guide was great and we had a good laugh. Tammi the river guide was good, but was being overtaken by other guides trying to bring their groups around and through ours. The downside is how uncomfortable we was made to feel for people wanting tips for everything. Even worse at Bobs, it was all about tips, and moaning for you to hurry up to get you in and out, but still wanting a tip (Barky) not nice

Absolutely loved dunn’s river and the nine mile tour. However I find that you need a lot of (US dollars) because everyone expects a tip or donation, which I’m not too bothered about but some venders are very pushy and it makes you feel awkward/uncomfortable when you don’t have money on you, especially when doing water activities. Our tour guide DONNA was an absolute gem what a lovely lady she is the one that deserves a tip more than anyone else on the trip.

Dunns river falls was a great experience and enjoyed. Apart from the rain making it delayed and extra travelling was worth the wait. Nine Mile trip was interesting and enjoyed the experience. Downside was the long day of travelling and the road to Bob Marleys place of birth is terrible.

Zbyt mało czasu na wodospadach. Nawet nie można porobić sobie zdjęć bo cała wycieczka jest w mega pośpiechu. Wyżywienie to jakaś kpina. Porcja dla 6 latka, a nie dla dorosłej osoby. Zero napojów itp. Oczywiście mnóstwo czasu znalazło sie na pobyt w zaprzyjaźnionym sklepie. Mauzoleum Boba Marleya - bez komentarza. Zrobiliście cyrk z legendy. Ciężko to nazwać Mauzoleum. Prędzej pasowałoby "bob marley supermarket". Wstyd!

I really enjoyed visiting both the Donna River and Nine Mile. The natural beauty at the river was relaxing and refreshing, and it felt like a perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the surroundings were well worth the visit. At Nine Mile, I appreciated the cultural and historical experience. Learning about the area and its significance added a meaningful touch to the trip, and the guides were engaging and informative.

I thought everything was brilliant. Our bus driver and our guide Hugh, we're both very good. Hugh was very informative and knowledgeable, and hugely entertaining. The staff at Dunns river were excellent and helpful. We had Barky as our Nine Mile guide. He was great. The Nine Mile experience was very informative and emotional. All the staff were very friendly.

Overall a good trip and the tour guide and driver were amazing, however we were not told the journey home would take 4 hours we were only told 2….this maybe would have made us rethink the trip to be honest because it was too long. Another point is that you are literally asked for tips by every single person you come into contact with, the trip is already so expensive in all we probably spent over 400 dollars for 2 of us with all the tips we were asked for constantly.

Dunns River Falls was fabulous and worth every penny. Staff at Dunns River were really good. Can't fault our guide on the trip. The Nine Mile visit was interesting but the hard sell of anything and everything Bob Marley was wearing. The poor guy is being much exploited. Appreciate that he has god-like status in Jamaica (and deservedly so for his music and poetic lyrics) but seems cynical to me that others ae making so much money from selling tat with his name on it.
