You'll venture into the mountains and the lush green landscape of Los Tilos forest before strolling around the idyllic town of San Andres.This bus tour will focus on La Palma's biodiversity. And to get you started, you'll stop at the small village of San Bartolo. Fall in love with the views from El Enamorado viewpoint before the main event – Los Tilos forest. This green paradise, also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, contains laurel trees, fresh springs and ferns everywhere you turn.Then, it's off to see the towns of Puerto Espíndola and Charco Azul, famed for their volcanic pools. After free time for lunch, you'll wander around San Andres, a striking seaside town with old-world mansions and views towards the ocean always just around the corner.

Die Tour selbst ist wunderschön. Unser Guide Carlos war sehr freundlich und hat uns viel Wissenswertes von der Insel erzählt. Schade nur, dass der Lorbeerwald Los Tilos aktuell gesperrt ist und nicht besichtigt werden konnte. Es wäre gut, dies bei der Tourbeschreibung zu erwähnen oder diesen Part erst gar nicht mit aufzunehmen, da irreführend. Der zur Schließung führende Steinschlag war vor ca. einem halben Jahr und die Bauarbeiten werden wohl noch eine ganze Weile andauern.

Die Tour hatte ich gebucht, weil es eigentlich um die Botanik La Palmas gehen sollte. Damit hat die Tour aber gar nichts zu tun. Die Reisebeschreibung ist in dieser Hinsicht irreführend. Los Tilos ist derzeit gesperrt. Bitte bei der Tour unbedingt Badesachen einpacken, denn man ist 2 mal länger an den Naturbadebecken. - Die Reiseleiterin war sehr freundlich, kompeten und unterhielt uns mit kurzweiligen Erzählungen. Die Tour ist gut geeignet, um den Nordosten etwas kennen zu lernen.

We hadden verwacht langer in het Tillos bos te wandelen. De omschrijving van tui komt niet overeen met die van de touraanbieder. Er stond ui tui niet bij dat je zwemkleding moest meenemen, terwijl dat echt wel aan te raden is. Charco Azul had langer gemogen en minder kerken, dat duurde wat te lang.

When it comes to excursions, I felt that there was limited choices on La Palma…. Unless of course you’re a hiking fanatic, then your have plenty of options.
However to be able to say you have seen the island, rather than just the swimming pool at your resort, I would recommend this day out.

Der Ausflug wäre sicherlich ausgezeichnet gewesen, hätten wir ihn nicht schon vor Wochen- wie die gesamte Reise - storniert. Aber das hat die TUI wohl noch nicht durchgehend realisiert.
