Thundering over cliffs into the Mediterranean, the Karpuzkaldiran waterfall is a sight to behold. They're the appetiser before heading into Antalya old town for a guided walking tour and some free time to explore. Derya, one of our expert local guides, says, "a place I always recommend is the bazaar, a great spot to soak up local culture while you browse for souvenirs. Walking through the busy lanes you can find traditional Turkish craft products like ceramics, textiles and jewellery, as well as loose tea, spices and lots of clothes and accessories."After a photo stop by the waterfall, we'll head into Antalya old town, also known as Kaleici. You'll have an hour's guided tour through the maze of narrow streets lined with traditional Ottoman-style houses, before enjoying free time to explore. The area is full of history and culture, and there are a few standout monuments to look out for. Hadrian's Gate is an ancient Roman fortification built in honour of Emperor Hadrian, who visited the city in 130 AD, while the Yivli Minaret Mosque, dating back to the 13th century, is a fine example of Seljuk architecture and boasts an iconic redbrick fluted minaret.If you want to grab some lunch, look out for typical Turkish dishes such as gözleme, a savoury stuffed pastry, and doner kebab. For dessert, try baklava, a sweet pastry made with layers of filo dough and honey. And if you want sea views as a side, head to harbour, where there are plenty of waterfront restaurants.

Die freie Zeit im basar war angemessen nur der guide weiß nicht ob TUI das so möchte. In ein Laden rein dort wurde man fas bedrengt was zu kaufen und nach dem man weiter in den Markt rein geht findet man gleichen Ware aber günstiger

We had a great day out. The waterfall is simply breathtaking. I’m sorry but I cannot remember the reps name who drove us about and done the tour but he was very polite and informative. He spoke in German and English so we could all understand where we were and what we were going to do. I didn’t like the bazaar purely because I’m not a designer brands person so having them forced on me was a bit annoying otherwise me and the kids had a lovely time. Highly recommend

Für diese Urlaubswoche möchte ich zur TUI- Betreuung folgendes bemerken: 1. Die Anreise und Rückreise hat geklappt. 2. Das Hotel war super, einschließlich der Verpflegung 3. Es war zwar Nachsaison, ich hätte aber von der TUI mehr Infos und Angebote für Unternehmungen erwartet. Betreuung durch den Mitarbeiter auf Anfrage!

49 € für diesen Ausflug ist zu viel Geld. Der kleine Ausflug würde reichen und man könnte sich überlegen ob man auf den Basar geht und die Altstadt erkundet. Der Wasserfall kostet kein Eintritt und ist für jeder Mann zugänglich.

We were picked up from hotel and had to wait at a central point half way to change buses to an English speaking guide. The second bus had German and English guests on so the tour on the bus to waterfall and old Antalya was German and English speaking and took longer than normal so we only had 2 hours to walk round old Antalya ourselves.

Uns hat besonders die Altstadt mit dem gut erhaltenen Stadttor 131 nach Christus, wo ein Stück Oeiginal Boden mit original Steinen noch sehr gut erhalten ist, auch die vielen alten Häuser mit dem Erker Vorsprung.

Fahrt wurde laut tui Mitarbeiter mit ca 45 Minuten erklärt, durch Abholung noch anderer Gäste hatten jeweils 1:45 Minuten Fahrtzeit, hätten wir das gewusst, hätten wir den Ausflug nicht gebucht Tour durch Altstadt war gut, der anschliesende Besuch im Basar war ein Kleidergeschäft mit sehr aufdringlichen Mitarbeitern, das braucht keiner.

Ich hätte gern viel mehr über Land und Leute erfahren. War mir deutlich zu wenig. Auch das die Busfahrt länger gedauert hat als der Aufenthalt in Antalya fand ich nicht verhältnismäßig. Hinzu kam, dass es für mich mehr Verkaufsveranstaltung als Führung war. Würde die Tour nicht weiterempfehlen. Zumindest nicht zu dem Betrag.

Hatten eine Tour gebucht ohne Verkaufsveranstaltung was nicht der Fall war . Treffpunkt in Antalya war ein Restaurant was angeblich am günstigsten und am besten war obwohl gegenüber ein Denkmal steht was soger besser geeignet wäre. Im Basar angekommen würden wir in einen Laden geführt und freundlich begrüßt wurden uns würde versichert das dort beste Preise und Qualität wäre. Nach der Ansprache stürzen 10 Verkäufer auf uns und ließen nicht locker unter dem Deckmantel freiwillig

Ich fand den Preis von über 50€ pro Person zu teuer für das Gebotene. Die Informationen während der Busfahrt und dem kurzen Spaziergang waren interessant, aber leider etwas wenig. Auch war der guide sehr freundlich, aber es kam zu wenig information und die vorhandene Zeit wurde nicht genutzt. Wir hatten 2 stunden freizeit alleine um über den Markt zu gehen. Der guide empfahl einen textilienladen auf dem Markt und dennoch wurde ich dort hinters Licht geführt

Nur das nervige Gebettel bei den Transfers war schon grenzwertig. Bei jedem Transfer wird darauf hingewiesen, dass der Fahrer doch nur Mindestlohn bekommt und er doch eine Familie ernähren muss. Dies kann er auch nur wegen dem Trinkgeld. Auch das hineinlenken in einen Laden im Basar ist nervig. Es soll ein offizieller TUI Laden sein und man solle nur dort überteuert kaufen. Beim Bezahlen soll man dann angeben wer der Reiseführer (Tuncay) ist wegen der Provision.

Schöne geführte Tour in die Old Town Antalya am Hafen, Zeit zur freien Verfügung. Mit dem zusammen in ein Geschäft auf dem Basar und "20%" könnte man sich sparen. Die Besichtigung des Wasserfall war in Ordnung.

Über 50 Euro für diesen niveaulosen Ausflug. Ein komischen Wasserfall a 30 min, Staatsführung 40min mit 50 Gästen, zwei Stunden Plagiate Basar und unattraktive Innenstadt. Der Ausflug ist Quatsch.

Im Bus wurde schon über Land und Leute erzählt und wir bekamen einige interessante Informationen. Unser Guide war sehr nett. Die Zeit zum eigenen Erkunden war zu kurz (keine 2 Stunden) Am Treffpunkt war es zu wuselig,da sich dort alle Reisegruppen getroffen haben.

sehr netter Guide, hat toll Deutsch gesprochen und guten Stadtrundgang gemacht durch Altstadt und Hafen bis zum Basar. Tipp fürs Restaurant war auch gut (gegenüber vom Basar). Ausflug ging von 8.40 bis fast 16 Uhr. Auf Hin- und Rückfahrt einige Stopps an anderen Tui-Hotels.

Insgesamt war es eine tolle Tour. Bei den Wasserfällen hatten wir ca 30 Minuten Zeit für Fotos. Danach ging es in die Altstadt von Antalya. Die Stadtführung dauerte ca 60 Minuten und war recht kurzweilig. Bevor es zurück ins Hotel ging, hatten wir 2 Stunden zur freien Verfügung. Wer wollte, konnte auf den Basar gehen. Dort war der Ausgangspunkt ein Klamottengeschäft. Uns wurde direkt ein 20% Nachlass gegeben.

We had a brilliant time on the Antalya Old Town Tour with Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall. Our guide, Muzo, made the experience exceptional, he was friendly, funny, and so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. The tour was well-paced, interesting, and really enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks to Muzo, it ended up being one of the best days of our holiday! Highly recommend this excursion.

Our transportation to pick up fellow travellers and then the journey to our destination was safe and comfortable. The distance to the waterfall and the old town was good and didn’t feel a long time. It was lovely to appreciate Turkish culture, and travel out of our resort for 7hrs. Our guide, Ouzo, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his country, it's politics and history. and understanding cost comparisons from the UK. Outside of the transfer times, we had a guided tour of the old town for about an hour, then almost 3hrs to take in the city by ourselves. A nice mix.

I booked this through the hotel tui guide and was told there would be around 15–20 people. In reality, there were over 40 participants, plus more arriving with transfer buses. Had I known this, I wouldn’t have booked it! The waterfall was beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The city tour was okay, though there isn’t much to discover. Surprisingly, the harbor – with an amazing view and was my personal highlight – wasn’t included in the tour. Overall: great nature spot but far too large group

Sehr guter Guide und ebenso sicherer Fahrer, wir wussten uns gut aufgehoben. Der Guide wusste sehr viele Anekdoten spannend zu erzählen. Fast 50 Personen - Für unsere Wahrnehmung waren es zu viele Teilnehmer. Die Gruppe zog sich sehr auseinander und es gingen bestimmt Informationen verloren. Türkischer Bazar: Nicht unsere Welt, aber spannend es einmal gesehen zu haben. Das vereinbarte Treffpunkt-Caffee war mit den vielen Besuchern / Bestellungen an diesem Tag komplett überfordert.

Der Reiseführer war gut, hat interessante sachen erzählt und vor touri Fällen uns gewarnt. Die tour ist aber leider mit 2 Stunden freie zeit sehr eng, man kann nicht viel sehen und ist hektisch. Man wird auch zum shopping zum partner laden gebracht und zum partner cafe wo jetzt nicht unbedingt soo günstig ist, allerdings wird man auch NICHT gezwungen da was zu kaufen oder bestellen. Die tour ist okay, kann man machen muss man aber nicht, denn es gibt Alternativen wo man mehr zeit verbringen kann

Bus war superpünktlich hat nur 2 andere Hotels angesteuert. Führer hat während der Fahrt interessante und nützliche Informationen gegeben und auch vor Touri-Fallen in Antalya gewarnt. Die Altstadt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, durch den frühen Beginn der Tour war es nicht unerträglich heiß. Auf dem Bazar wird man am Schluß in einen bestimmten Laden geschleift, der sicher nicht der günstigste und beste ist, aber von einer Deutschen geführt wird. Für Shopping und Besichtigung des Hafens Zeit zu knapp

The tour was excellent, it was easy walk round and just about the right duration and AJ was an excellent guide. The pick up was not easy as the driver could not speak English and just had a list on his mobile phone. After picking up from other hotels we were then taken to a car park in Antalya where we had to transfer to other coaches with a guide who spoke your language and the guide checked your names. at the end of the tour we were then taken to a coach for the return journey.

Es war eine Art kaffeefahrt, Treffpunkt war ein cafehaus, wo man uns schon "erwartete", die altstadttoue war dürftig, obwohl uns geraten wurde, den Hafen von oben zu besichtigen da wir die bessere aussicht hätten zogen wir es vor direkt zum Hafen hinuntergehen wo wir mitten im Geschehen waren auch die Preise Wovor wir gewarnt wurden dass sie überteuert seien verhielten sich im normalen bereich.....

Our guide AJ was very informative, friendly and spoke excellent English. Our driver was also very good. The tour itself was well balanced with plenty of time to have a wander at each location and in a beautiful area of Antalya. Be wary of the market stall and shop owners. They are ok and not pushy when you walk past but once you start browsing they are on you. All in all a great experience

Wir sind das erste mal in der Türkei.Das Hotel hat mehr als unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. ??????????einfach ein Traumurlaub im Paradies. Personal unglaublich freundlich, aufmersam und immer mit Lächeln. Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast sondern wie ein Teul der Familie. Das gesamte Hotel ist wunderschön gepflegt, mit viel Liebe eine traunhafte Kulisse.Das kulinarische Angebot ist Wahnsin!!!??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????unglaublich gut. We was expecting a little more from the tour as quite long for what we saw. This then took the time we wanted to explore the old town and harbour. Definitely not do this as would be better getting a bus and doing things yourself.

Der Reiseführer war gut er hatt alles gut erklärt. Die Rückfahrt war nach Aufteilung des Busses katastrophal. Es wurde viel zu schnell gefahren und kaotisch durch den Stau geschlängelt und er musste des öfteren stark abbremsen

Die Begleitung hat die Tour zu einer Verkaufs Tour gemacht, indem er auf dem Basar bewusst zu den Ständen gegangen ist was seine Bekannten waren.

The tour itself I didn't feel was worth the 43.00 I paid. Maybe if it included lunch then the price would be better. Our tour guide, Arif was excellent! He looked after us and his knowledge about the history of Antalya was very good. But the journey back to our hotel which should have been half hour took 2 hrs so not a good end to the trip. Not the drivers fault obviously. I don't think I will be recommending this trip to anyone because of these issues.

We were the second pick up out of at 8:05. The driver Isa was excellent a very safe smooth ride. Our guide Ahmet was knowledgeable and explained the trip and timings all the way. He talked us through the history from St Paul’s visits, Alexandra the Great, to Antalious. The view of the waterfall was incredible with half hour stop sufficient. The walk through the old town was beautiful, taking in the architecture and its uses for hotels. We walked through the shops and were guided to a bazaar.

Der Guide (Tunchay) hat alles super erklärt. Leider konnte man über die schlechte Bussprechanlage nicht alle akustisch verstehen. Wir hätten uns ein gemeinsames Mittagessen für den Ausflugpreis gewünscht. Diesbezüglich finden wir den Preis des Ausfluges eindeutig zu teuer. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.
