Giving low score for terrible booking experience. We booked the bus to Ricks cafe for Sunday on the Tui app but when I checked with our rep for further details he said the trip was not available on Sundays so could not understand ho we had booked it. He rearranged it for Monday. We waited an hour for the bus but by that time the rep had arranged a private taxi transfer for us. We went to a local shop that we could have walked to but it did not interest us so we asked to go straight to Ricks.

We had a lovely day, we came from the grand Palladium so the journey is over an hour but we had plenty of time at Rick’s to cover that. Our driver, Kirk was a lovely guy. We had a great time at Rick’s and saw the high cliff dive twice. The lifeguards did a round for tips for the diver which I didn’t think was unreasonable. The cocktails were great, the staff were lovely and the toilets had an attendant so lovely and clean. Overall a good time and well worth the £10 round trip. £120 in all spent.

Our tour guide Lloyd was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. The excursion was just the right about of time and was guided by us and what we wanted out of it. Felt safe going alone on the trip as my other half didn’t want to come.

Bus never turned up, trip was cancelled due to low numbers but they decided not to let any one know. We waited outside the hotel for over one hour in stifling heat. Response day after was “sorry, do you want to book again?” Unbelievable! Avoid at all costs, book with local operators who actually value you!

Shopping? Kann man nicht wirklich dazu sagen. Eher Touriabzocke! In einem Touriladen 20 min einkaufen und dann wieder los. Schade das es kein Markt war sondern nur 1 Geschäft. Wir hätten lieber eine bisschen mehr von der einheimischen Shopmeile gesehen und dafür auf 1Stunde Rick’s Cafe verzichtet. Dies ist jetzt nicht unbedingt die Attraktion, man war da ja aber… Und auch überteuert, Bier erst 6Dollar und eine Stunde später 7 Dollar

Dass der Guide in englisch ist hat uns beim buchen niemand mitgeteilt. Vorab wurde uns ein Preis vin 13$ pro Person gegeben. Bezahlen mussten wir aber 27$. Ist Barzahlung teurer, wenn ja, warum. Alles ein bisschen Tricki. Ansonsten war der Ausflug OK.

Our guide was very knowledgable and told us much about the island en route. The drive took just over an hour and we spent approx 30 mins shopping and 2/3 hours at Ricks cafe. Plenty of time for lunch, drinks and cliff jumping before watching an amazing sunset! Highly recommended- we couldn’t believe how cheap this was- definitely good value for money.

Rick's Café ist ein Ausflug wert. Preise sehr teuer, aber gut. Ist wahrscheinlich bei allen besonderen Punkten auf der Welt. Sonnenuntergang sehr hübsch. Die paar Buden zum Einkaufen braucht es nicht. Wertloser Kram, den es überall gibt.

The shopping wasn’t really necessary, just a look around a souvenir shop, but they weren’t pushy and didn’t push you to buy. Ricks cafe was a brilliant experience! When we first arrived we weren’t sure if it would be too long to sit and then we sat and just enjoyed the next two hours!! We could have stayed longer just watching the boats and the divers!! A really fun afternoon and would thoroughly recommend!!

Ricks Café lohnt sich leider nicht. Vor Ort darf man sein Wasser nicht reinnehmen, nur für 4 Dollar pro 0,3 l kaufen. Café ist überlaufen,Touristen werden wie von Land so auch vom Wasser reingebracht. Service nimmt nur teilweise die Bestellung auf , ein Teil der Reisenden muss nochmal 40 min aid seine Bestellung warten. Auf dem Weg zum Café , gab es zwei Stopps in Geschäften, unnötig. Abreise war um 18:45 Sonnenuntergang erst um 18:50, leider im Bus verpasst :(

Zuerst wird man in überteuerte Shops gebracht, wo einem bei den Preisen alle Haare aufstellt. Ricks Café. Man zahlt hier keinen Eintritt, jedoch Wasser, Bier und Cola sind teurer als in jedem normalen Restaurant. Das Swimmingpool ist aufgrund der milchigen Farbe nicht zu empfehlen. Einzig der Ausblick und das Klippen springen wäre eine Reise wert.

The ‘shop we visited with Lloyd was not a boutiqe and was better priced however watch for the so called 20% off as much of it didn't materialise! And there is tax on top. Ricks cafe was great. Atmosphere was great. Watched the divers jumping into the cove from the cliff top especially from the high board. Take dollars to tip the divers its worth it. Food and drink a bit pricey but it is not too bad and food is great. Lloyd our driver was pleasant and funny and looked after us for the journe

The trip was very good. However, we were disappointed on 2 counts. 1. The shopping was to only one outlet that was no cheaper than the hotel shop. 2. We left Ricks Cafe at 6pm which was over 45minutes before the sunset.

There was no shopping at a craft market. We were dropped at one shop for 10 minutes whilst the driver went to pick up another guest. We then went straight to Ricks Cafe for three hours. We had to leave before the sun set which was the bit we were looking forward to the most

Robert McKenzie was our guide, he was very informative on the way to ricks cafe, pointing out different attractions, hotels and gatherings. Gave clear instructions on when and where to find him outside of ricks cafe for our journey back to the hotel :) Enjoyed both shops, in particular I liked that everything was already priced and there was no need for haggling. Souvenirs were also well priced :)

De chauffeur kwam een half uur te laat. De shops hebben wij nooit gezien...hij haalde ons op en daarna haalde hij de rest van de groep op bij volgens mij 1 winkel. Wij hebben dus niet mogen shoppen. Daarna meteen door naar Rick's café .. daar was het leuk! Dus kort samengevat...betaald voor 2 dingen, gedaan 1 ding....

Voor 14 dollar hoef je niet veel te verwachten maar shopping is veel overdreven. Onderweg 1stop gemaakt bij een shop onderweg daarna racen door Negril heen naar Rick’s. Hier slechts 2 winkeltjes. Leuk om (zelf) te diven. Hier heel erg druk met gasten vanuit de catamarans, leuk om te zien. Daarna 2,5 uur wachten. Keiharde muziek op terras maar gelukkig een rustig plekje rechts op het grote terras gevonden en van de ondergaande zon genoten. Ook nog dolfijnen gezien.

So for us the bus was 45 minutes late, which meant we could only make one stop for shopping and it was limited, as other guest on the bus wanted to get to Ricks Cafe - but the driver was extremely helpful and we highly recommend him.

Da TUI uns eine falsche Abholzeit genannt hat, war der Bus, der uns am Hotel abholen sollte bereits weg. Wir haben 2 Std gewartet, bis der Fahrer uns endlich am Hotel abgeholt hat. Den Craftmarket konnten wir deshalb leider nicht mehr besuchen und wir wurden direkt zu Ricks Cafe gebracht. Wir empfehlen jedem, der diese Tour bucht, sich die Abholzeit bei TUI bestätigen zu lassen. Eine Erstattung oder eine Entschuldigung von TUI gab es nicht, dafür sind wir von dem Busteam wüst beschimpft worden.

The shopping was massively overpriced. Rics bar was amazing! Plenty of time there to enjoy the atmosphere, watch the cliff jumping, take part, have a drink and enjoy the sun set. We would 100% go to Rics again should be go to Jamaica ????.

Great vibes at Rick’s cafe. A fun way to spend a couple of hours. Shopping was ok bought some souvenirs but felt sorry for the 2nd venue as we did our shopping at first store. Maybe one shopping stop would be better.

Ricks cafe sollte man gesehen haben,muss aber wissen es ist sehr laut und alles sehr teuer,und es gibt keinen Kaffee:) Das Geschäft zum Einkaufen war für uns uninteressant das es überteuert und auf Touristen ausgelegt ist Vor Ricks Café in der Straße sind viele kleine Buden von den Einheimischen die sich freuen wenn sie was verkaufen- und Angst muss man da nicht haben - alle sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam

Das shopping-center hätte man weglassen können, es gab den üblichen Touristenschrott zu überteuerten Preisen. Aber Ricks Cafe ist wirklich ein Erlebnis, muß man auf Jamaika gesehen haben. Die Getränke sind teuer, aber das ist in den deutschen "in-Lokalen" nicht anders. Die Stimmung ist super und der Sonnenuntergang wunderschön.

The driver and staff were really nice , had a laugh on the bus , met new people, the shopping was OK, got some bargains, Rick's cafe was nice, music good , drinks good , nice place to sit and watch everyone jumping and to watch the sunset , we did have a storm on the way but stopped about 10 mins after we got to Rick's cafe , it cooled down nicely

Only taken to one shop where although signs showing 50% off they were still expensive compared to other shops we had been to. I think you should drop the shopping stop and just do a trip to Ricks Cafe. The driver, who was also the guide was very helpful and friendly and he put us under no pressure to leave by a certain time

Ricks Cafe is great day/night out good music good dancers with the odd crazy funny one. The Divers who jump off the top are amazing just apart from asking for tips.Had good company on the tour except 2 miserable people who wanted to go back early if they wasn’t there we woulda probly been there to close. If you get Eddie Murphy as your driver you in for a great excellent tour.

Preis für die Busfahrt ist sehr günstig. Normales Taxi vom Hotel oder Sammeltaxi an der Straße wären teurer. Wir haben dies vor Ort beim Reisleiter gebucht. Leider wurde vorab nicht auf den Shopping-Stop hingewiesen, kam daher überraschend. Der Aufenthalt in Rick's Cafe ist mit drei Stunden natürlich viel zu lang. Ideal erscheinen 45 Min. bis eine Stunde.

Let me give you an example, stopped off at a kind of Poundland shop, was told as we entered it was sale day and everything was 50% off marked price only to discover the baseball cap I looked at came to $18 more after the 50% discount than having the exact same one in my resort cheaper. Anyway Ricks cafe was an ok day out, did get really busy, if you decide to go, go with an open mind and go with the flow, it’s a booze cruse without the boat no liquid or snacks are allowed inside take loads of $

Ricks cafe was good if your in your early 20’s as it was full of young people in designer clothes & you’ll need a mortgage to pay for the drinks that were expensive but for the music & atmosphere it was spot on, as for the shopping it was good, people friendly & it was relatively cheap.

Landschaft und Atmosphäre bei Rick's Café sind den Ausflug wert. Mit dem Sonnenuntergang ist es leider nichts geworden, da wir einen total verregneten Nachmittag erwischt haben. Den Shopping Stopp kann man sich schenken, da auch hier das Angebot stark überteuert ist. Aus unserer Gruppe hat niemand etwas gekauft!

The shop stop was unnecessary very overpriced items saying 50% off but still ridiculously expensive. Rick’s cafe was great, loved the experience, great atmosphere. It’s a shame the bus doesn’t pick up and drop off 10-15 minutes later and then we could have seen the sunset. Rick’s is definitely worth visiting and a highlight of our holiday.

Das Shopping kann man sich schenken, völlig überzogene Preise, man fühlt sich abgezockt. Rick's Café ist sehenswert, aber logischerweise sehr voll. Musik ist Hiphop, Reggae eher weniger. Preise sind erwartungsgemäß hoch. Wenn man auf Jamaica ist sollte man es sich anschauen. Kleiner Tipp für übrigens alle Ausflüge: Am Besten in Jamaica Dollar bezahlen, macht alles günstiger

Cheapest way to get to Ricks cafe as taxis are so expensive. The stop at the shop was only short so didn’t take up too much time/lengthen the journey, around 20 mins. A little overpriced but just an average tourist gift shop really, rather than a ‘craft market’ Driver was great and very informative

Great experience. Great music and good vibes. Food was great, was approx 35 dollars for ribs and chips. I had my two young sons with me so didn’t stay past 6pm. Next time will defo not bring the kids and stay later for the party x

Great atmosphere, plenty of food and drink choices. Enjoyed watching the locals jump from the cliffs. Beautiful spot to watch an amazing Jamaican sunset.

This trip is the easiest and cheapest way to go to Ricks cafe for a few hours. You do have to stop at a tourist shop (overpriced) however, we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything and if you choose you can go to the craft markets. We chose to skip this and have longer at Ricks. Ricks is fairly quiet until the boats all descend early evening. Teenage kids loved the cliff jumping. We ate at ricks and it’s good but expensive.

Our driver and tour guide Leon was very helpful, he gave us useful information, ensuring we are all back on the bus and back to our hotels safely. Would recommend this tour as Ricks cafe was amazing, the sunset was breathtaking, very good place to visit. Recommend this trip to all, me and my daughter enjoyed this.

Rick cafe was amazing the atmosphere and the service dropped door to door and the driver arrive on time. However the shopping bit was poor we were took to 2 shops n had 15 mins in each. Don’t think the shopping part is needed

The shopping complex I really enjoyed. Tge kraft market not so much. I have travelled jamaica many times and have done many markets. The owners of these markets I found to be rude and also over the years have picked up the lingo and heard one woman saying the Engish never buy anything. My god we take money and clothes and shoes to give away when we are there. But I would never go there again.

Die Shopping Mall on Negril bzw. Das was überhaupt noch geöffnet war, kann man sich schenken. Diese Bewertung deckt sich mit schon publizierten Meinungen. Alle mit gleichen Angebot und Textilien Made on China. Auch wenn man verstehen kann, dass die Leute ja von etwas leben müssen Ricks Café war sicherlich einen Besuch wert. Der Driver Guide war nett und zuvorkommend. Für den Preis kann man nicht meckern.

Good couple of hours out the resort . Shop was good if you’re looking for bits to take home . Ricks is expensive you’re not allowed to even take a bottle of water in all bags checked and drinks removed , we weren’t told that.
