At the heart of the Costa Rican surfing scene, Playa Tamarindo is one of the best spots to hit the waves. With excellent breaks and year-round warm water, the well-known beach makes for the perfect surf lesson location for beginner and advanced surfers alike. During this 2-hour class, amateurs can grasp the basics on land before hitting the waves, while experienced surfers will hone their skills alongside an expert instructor.

Children under the age of 10 are not permitted
Rainy season is from May to November, so bring a poncho or raincoat
There needs to be a minimum of two guests from hotels Conchal, Tamarindo and Jardin del Eden Flamingo for the transfers

Not suitable for guests with poor health
Not suitable for guests who suffer from claustrophobia

Excellent
The private surf lessons were excellent! Our teacher was so patient and did an awesome job in adjusting his teaching style to each person in our group. He was so helpful in getting every person in our group up and riding the waves. We will definitely book future tours.
